(Because I wanted to write something for Valentines Day, here's this. It's late, my bad, but I hope it's good :3 it's a fluffy chapter between Runaan and Tinker, 2 characters in The Dragon Prince. I know a few peeps who need this, myself included XD. Also sorry if the personalities are off, Runaan wasn't really there long enough to get a decent view of it)

The morning sun shone through the partially opened windows and into the cozy bedroom. The birds chirped outside as they warmed up from the chilly spring night. The room was simple in furnishing, with a decent queen sized bed with comfortable blankets and multiple pillows, the blankets and covers ruffled and askew from not yet being made. Two bureaus sat on either side of the bed, a few trinkets such as pictures, some small pieces of jewelry, as well as notes littered the top. A desk sat by the wall where a mirror was hung, two male figures by it. One was sitting in a chair with his eyes closed peacefully, while the second was standing behind him with a soft smile.

Soft humming filtered through the room as the second figure carefully ran a brush through the first one's silky white hair. He carefully avoided the dark purple and blue horns on the second figure's head as he hummed soothingly, getting the knots out of his boyfriend's hair. The second figure paused to move his rich brown hair out of his amber colored eyes, moving it behind his pointed elven ear before continuing.

"You're going to put me back to sleep if you keep it up," the white haired figure chuckled, his soft Scottish voice drowsy as he leaned his head back. His paleish, purple tinted skin accented his purple markings on his face. His striking turquoise eyes opened a little as he gave a smile at the tanned skin figure behind him. The brown haired figure chuckled softly as he gently moved his head back into place.

"And you're going to mess up your hair Runaan," the tanned figure chuckled playfully.

"Oh, but I know you'd fix it for me love," Runaan said as he sat up a bit straighter in the padded wooden chair. The tan male scoffed playfully, the golden markings on the side of his face catching the rays of the sun as he smiled broadly.

"You know, I think we should go out to dinner tonight," the tan figure said as he set the brush aside and grabbed a small metal band.

"Oh?" Runaan hummed as he turned his head to the side, his striking eyes curious. The other figure nodded as he carefully separated Runaan's white hair into three strands for a braid.

"Mhm. I heard it's a human holiday to show how much you appreciate your loved ones," the tan male said with a smile. He gently grabbed the other elf's horn and turned his head to face the mirror again, Runaan giving a small grunt in surprise. The brown haired figure looked into the mirror to see his boyfriend's confused expression. He caught a glimpse of his own circular designs on his face and dark brown horns, decorated with golden metal tips.

"A human holiday? Why would we want to celebrate that Tinker?" Runaan asked, his white eyebrows furrowing in confusion. Tinker chuckled as he ran his four fingers through Runaan's soft white hair as he braided it.

"Well not the holiday as they do...just the idea of it. Spending a day just to appreciate your loved ones," Tinker said as he put the little metal clasp at the end of his boyfriend's braid, a mane of long white hair still free under it as he knew Runaan liked it.

"Hmm...I don't see why not then. It can't hurt can it?" Runaan said, a smile on his stern face as he turned in the chair and looked back at Tinker. The brown skinned male smiled as he laid his chin atop his, his own amber eyes locking with Runaan's in the mirror.

"With Rayla moved out now, we should go enjoy ourselves," Tinker hummed as he slinked his arms around Runaan's shoulders and down his chest. The moonshadow elf gave a chuckle as he patted his arms affectionately.

"You're right. So, anywhere in mind?" Runaan asked. Tinker gave a little smirk.

"Remember that one tavern that we saw all those years ago? Well it's open again," Tinker said. He reached up and gently flicked Runaan's horn, earning a strangled noise of surprise.

"But that place is so far, we will probably get there by dinner time if we leave soon. Are you sure?" Runaan asked.

"Of course. Besides, we could use a day trip anyway," Tinker said, moving his head so that his cheek was touching Runaan's. Runaan smiled as he looked at him, through the corner of his eyes.

"Well, we should get going then," Runaan said as he turned and kissed Tinker's cheek. The sunfire elf smiled happily as his heart fluttered within his chest. Tinker watched as Runaan stood to his full 6'4 height and stretched his marked arms above with a yawn, showing his sharp canines.

He dropped his arms by his side, smiling at his boyfriend as he offered him his hand. With a smile of his own Tinker took it, intertwining their fingers together as they headed outside.

"Besides Tinker...I have a question to ask you anyway, when we get there."
