Sam was baffled by his daughter's behavior and it kept him from falling asleep. He didn't know why she hadn't just told him about her visions. Mary had never struggled with telling him things before, she was always eager to talk with him. What was the difference now? Was she afraid of him? The thought made him want to cry, because he didn't want his little girl to fear him. It was the last thing any father would want, Kristina couldn't sleep either and noticing her husband's state rested on his shoulder.

"Are you okay?" Kristina asked. He obviously wasn't but too be honest she wasn't either. Mary was always such a good kid, and she didn't understand what was causing her behavior.
"You should be asleep." Sam responded kissing her on the head.
"I'm never going to get to sleep after that," Kristina said. "I never thought I could be that upset with her, she's always been such a good kid," she continued. "And I could be wrong but I think this is happening due to her lack of sleep."
"Most likely, I knew that there was something up with her," Sam answered. "I just wish she would have talked to us instead of sneaking all the way here."

Sam thought back to what Mary had said basically running in on them while they were sleeping, and accusing them of having sex. She hadn't been completely wrong, they were going to have it, their thoughts were clouded and it was they could think about. However the thing that brought them out of their trance was a voice talking to them. It sounded like the voice of a small child, neither of them recognized it, and all the voice had said was don't its a trap.

It was then that the two realized that if they gave in they would become victims as well. Plus Sam refused to allow himself to do that to his wife unless she wanted it as much as him. It would feel like he was forcing himself on her if they made love while under the spell. Apparently that was all the victims needed to do for the influence to stop, because after Sam refused to give into his lustful feelings. Kristina realized what was going on and instantly put her clothes back on. She felt a little ashamed wanting to see more of him without his permission.

"I think we need to explain to her what happened," Kristina spoke up. "Before she runs away again and tries to hunt this thing herself," she continued. "Do your really think it could be a succubus?"
"It's possible I always thought they didn't exist but given what I've seen, she could be right." Sam responded. He knew Mary well and figured that she was most likely sitting outside right now, crying her eyes out for getting in trouble. Not wanting her to run off to face the demon by herself, he got off the bed and got dressed.

"Sam?" Kristina asked.
"I can't stand leaving things like this, I'm going to talk with her," Sam responded. Kristina wanted to come with him but he told her to rest, the day had rough and she got brief heat exhaustion. "I can't let whatever this is get her and I can't let it get you."
"I am capable of protecting myself you know," she reminded him. Sam of course already knew that said he couldn't take any risks. She kissed him on the cheek telling him to be careful. "If we survive this and there's no spell to influence us, I want us to try again."
"Only if that's you talking," Sam responded. "Words will never cover what you mean to me Kristina, but you don't need to ask me things like that," he continued. "I love you just the way you are."

Kristina was touched by his words, and she had never felt more loved in her life. She loved Sam, she loved him so much that she got choked up with tears. It was both a blessing and a curse, there was no doubt that he made her happy. But it scared her a bit the lengths they were willing to go for each other. Unable to find the words to thank him she shed a few happy tears before hugging him. "I love you too, you mean everything to me." She told him. Sam smiled but told her to get some rest so he could find their daughter, she begrudgingly agreed and laid back down.

Mary sat on Emma's porch watching the foggy night sky, a few tears were still falling down her face. She didn't regret coming here to rescue her parents, but it seemed like everyone was mad at her. Maybe she should prove them all wrong by finding the dark saber herself and kill the succubus. According to what she was told, the dark saber was hidden by the family sworn to guard it. "Okay all I have to do figure out who has the saber." she said to her herself. While she was thinking out loud, Sam opened the door making Mary jump at the sound.

"What's this about a saber?" Sam asked. Mary turned away from him refusing to talk with him, she had already been lectured enough tonight. Even so Sam sat down next to him wanting to know what she was so worried about. "You can grumble all you want Mary, I'm not going to leave until you talk to me."
"Does that mean I'm still grounded?" Mary asked. Talking about her fears might get everything off her chest, holding them all in only seemed to be getting her in trouble. Sam gave her his stern parent look that read don't push it. "Okay after the whole incident where Mom was in the hospital, I felt this brief presence." Mary explained.

"What kind of presence?" Sam asked.
"At first I wasn't sure but a few days after I started having nightmares," Mary responded. "I didn't understand them because they made no sense, I saw a woman with blonde hair sleeping with different men," she continued. "A random woman got pregnant and died giving birth, but the worst part was that I saw it happen to mom," she kept going. Mary frowned and got closer to her father, just thinking about those visions made her heart clench inside her chest. Another river of tears ran down her face and she hugged Sam's shoulder. Sam held her close wanting to make her feel better. "I....didn't know what it meant...so I said nothing...but they kept coming...and this hunt happened." She cried hiccuping a few times in between her words.

"Mary sweetheart why didn't you tell me?" Sam asked. "I know you think that Mom and I have enough going on but you're our first priority," he told her. Mary cried a bit more after hearing that, but it wasn't tears of sadness anymore they were tears of joy. "I'm sorry that I was so hard on you earlier, but I don't want you to get hurt." After she calmed down Mary realized she may have made a mistake coming here alone.
"But maybe you were right Daddy," Mary answered. "You and Mom told me to stay away from this hunt, and I was so reckless that I didn't even listen."

"No," Sam responded catching Mary by surprise. She blinked completely stunned at what he just said even if it was just one word. "Somewhere between all this saving the world mess, you grew up," Sam said. "I guess your mother and I weren't ready to accept that," he continued. "We still worry about you like you're that little kid who came running into our room when you had a nightmare."
"Dad!" Mary exclaimed feeling embarrassed despite no one else being around. Sam laughed at her reaction only proving his point, he also cried a little bit. Mary hugged him and called him a big baby, she was off course kidding but it was nice to go back to normal.

"Hey what has your mother told you about manners?" Sam asked.
"To always use them," Mary responded. "And you guys are overprotective, but also the best parents in the whole world," She told him. Those words were honest, it was how she really felt about her parents. Mary laughed a bit as her father held back tears but played it off like he was just sweating. "Aww Daddy."
"Don't make me say what your uncle always says," Sam responded. "Now what makes you so sure this is a succubus?" He asked. Mary explained what had happened with Snowy, which made Sam wonder if he was dreaming this whole thing.
"I know but its true, whoever or whatever was speaking through snowy told me to come here." Mary said.

Hearing the Sam suddenly remembered the strange child like voice he and Kristina had heard before they became a victims of the fertility curse. Sam asked if the voice had been a child and Mary nodded saying that it was the voice of a young boy, probably only eight years old.
"Did he sound threatening?" Sam asked. Mary shook her head and explained that she was also told the demon took on a disguise while not hunting. A sudden thought occurred to Sam and he hated to think of it, but there was only person who hasn't been affected by the succubus.
"Dad?" Mary asked wondering what he was thinking.
"Mary when was the time you talked with Emma?" Sam questioned.
