As the party followed the tour guide, they arrived at the center of the Moon Base. It was rather busy with other adventurers going in and out of the stores and the Moon Base, but there's one woman standing at the center issuing orders to some of the adventurers.

"Ah, Director Fiona! What a pleasure of meeting you!" Said Nathan.

"Not now, I'm rather busy giving the explorers the layouts on the Lunar Subterraine" replied Director Fiona.

"I was just showing these new adventurers the layouts of the Moon Base, in which it is the central hub on the Blue Moon" he said.

Director Fiona introduced herself to Siegfried, Sonya, Laura, and Eric before resuming work.

"I guess she's busy, now onwards with the tour!" Said Nathan.

The tour guide shows the team the Lunar hot springs, in which the craters are filled with water that is heated up with the Empire issued tank that connects to the craters by pipes. He explains to them that explorers go there to heal wounds and recover mp, as well as to relax. Siegfried and his team wanted to go to the hot springs, much to the tour guides surprise.

"You can go there, but be sure to check at the laundry to pick up your gear" said Nathan.

After that, Siegried and team entered the building in front of the hot spring. In there, the interior has columns and the walls are decorated with a scene of knights fighting monsters, that reminded Siegfried his home country. At the back, the team meets a middle aged woman who is managing the front desk. She is dressed in a green floral dress and is wearing a pearl necklace with a ruby at the center, yet she reminded Laura her mother.

"Welcome to the Lunar hot springs, I am Miranda" she introduced herself.

"We would like to try out the hot springs" said Eric.

"You're in luck, we are doing a deluxe special with citrus fruit slices that can rejuvenate the skin" answered Miranda.

Sonya noticed a picture of a young man with a crystal in front of it, so she was curious on who that be.

"Who is that man?" She asked.

"You mean Cicero? Yes, he came from the volcanic continent famous for its baths. He was a well known scrubber who used to work at a bath house before coming here, and he even used this very crystal to invent the scrubber job class that utilizes soap and water to wash off status ailments. Unfortunately... Something bad happened to him" explained Miranda, before tears welled up her eyes.

"What happened to him?" Asked Siegfried.

"I don't want to speak about this, but let's just say he died and this is all I have to remember him" she answered mournful.

The team refrain from asking too much questions to avoid making the proprietress cry, so she gives them passes that allow them to enter the hot springs. They exited the building and saw the large bins at both sides of the hall that is split by a border, so Siegfried and Eric walked into the left hall while Laura and Sonya entered the right hall. Each of them take off their gear before going into the hot springs, Eric unzipped his white armored suit thus exposing five electrodes that are glued to his chest. However, when he took off his armored suit, he didn't go into the hot spring.

"What's wrong, Eric?" Asked Siegfried.

"I'm afraid of stepping into the water because my electrodes that is glued to my chest would be short circuited, this will electrocuted me" he replied.

"Just avoid the water reaching up to your chest, you'll be fine" Siegfried suggested.

Eric climbed in the hot spring, and it felt surprisingly warm. Steam comes out of the water, and he tries to keep the electrodes from touching the water. He heard the girls giggling past the border wall, but he wondered what Laura was doing. Despite his best efforts, he ended up exposing his electrodes to the water.

*bzzzzt*

He yelled in pain as he felt electrical shocks against his chest, he fell off the hot spring and landed on his back on the ground. He struggled to breath as the electrodes buzzed against his chest, the only thing he can do is stare at Siegfried who rushed out of the water to get help. He laid his head on the ground, wishing the pain would soon go away. The next thing when he woke up, he was on a stretcher outside of the building with his teammates explaining to the white mages. He saw five red areas on his chest where the electrodes used to be, and then he saw Laura standing next to him.

"Laura...?" He said in a weak voice.

"Don't talk, conserve your energy" she said.

He see that she's wearing the black mages outfit and hat, but he noticed that he's still naked underneath the blanket that covers him.

"Be sure to treat him!" Said Siegfried.

After that, the white mages take Eric to the medical ward.
