Alternate Universe Timeline #1: 2024

Lee Jooheon leans against a cement wall, breathing heavily. His breath visualizes into the air as he throws a glance to the side of him.

They're still there.

The two men dressed in all black in government suits.

They are walking with a purpose and he can see one of them holding tightly onto a taser.

Joohoney grunts with desperation and takes off once more. Resting will have to wait, until he shakes these scary brutes. He slips down an alleyway and heads briskly toward a busy street.

Yoo Kihyun screams in anger. He tests out the handcuffs encircling his wrists. Where is he? Why is he trapped?

"I would save your energy, if I were you," a gruff voice barks from the shadows ahead of him.

Kihyun pauses in trying to free his hands from the cuffs. Instead, he steps forward and grips the metal bars of his prison cell. "Who are you? Show yourself."

The voice's origin replies with nothing. There is only a deep-throated chuckle of amusement.

Kihyun's heart skips a beat. He knows this voice, but he can't place it. All he knows is an ominous dreadful feeling is filling him.

"Tell me, where is Lee Jooheon? Eventually, you're going to crack."

"Let me out of here!" Kihyun screams. "I'll never tell you where Joohoney is!"

Lee Minhyuk cracks his head from one side to the other. He has on a fashionable pair of glasses that mimic sunglasses with a darker tint to them. He is striding along a dimly lit corridor and walking toward a fenced area.

"Ready...set...FIGHT!" shouts a loud voice over an intercom system.

There's the ringing of a bell, shouts, two massive grunts of fury and then more shouts.

Minhyuk pulls a necktie looser on his neck, cracking a sly, sophisticated grin as he walks through the throng of people gathered to watch one of his famous fights. He's by no means a mafia boss, but he owns this fighting ring and hundreds of people flock to watch his Friday Night Smackdowns.

"Pure entertainment," Minhyuk remarks as he watches one of the fighters pick the other up and slam him down on the ground to the roars of cheering onlookers.

Lee Keonhee snaps his head from side to side. He's standing on a small path, surrounded by towering grassy walls. He runs forward, along the path, cutting sharply around corner, upon corner, but he still doesn't see anything else.

Keonhee halts. He knows he has to be trapped in some kind of a maze. But why? Where?

"Are the others here with me?" he whispers to himself, catching his breath.

Wherever he is, it's cool and the sky is caked with overcast gray clouds.

He listens.

Not a sound. Just his heavy breathing from the adrenaline. This cannot be good.

Yeo Hwanwoong finds himself standing barefoot on a stage. The audience in front of him is non-existent. The seats are all empty and there is only one lone spotlight shining on him. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath in.

Then his eyes snap open. He slowly lifts his arm up in a fluid dancer-like motion and soon he is dancing from one side of the stage to another to a song that perhaps only he can hear.

The sultry, dramatic instrumentals of a ballet and one of Darkest Days' leading b-side tracks.

He focuses, moving along to the music. Feeling the music moving him.

Kim Youngjo feels his body flying through the air briefly, before splashing into crisp, cool water. He looks around him, finding himself on a private beach. The waves rush to the shore around him, slapping against him like two siblings fighting one another.

RAVN blinks and looks up.

Above him, thick gray clouds cluster, blocking out the sun.

Then...he hears something odd. A familiar voice shouting out, "Youngjo-a, are you okay?"

RAVN gasps, as his head swings in the direction of the voice. It can't be!
