Alternate Universe Timeline #1: 2024

Keonhee runs along the path between the tall grass walls and finally reaches a circular clearing. In the middle, sits a peculiar fountain piece.

Keonhee makes his way up to the fountain and stares at the center sculpture. It is of 6 wolves snarling and clustered together. Out of their mouths, crystal clear water pours into a circular pool with clear purple water.

He looks up and peers around the fountain and then around the clearing. "Wh-what is this?" His eyes snap back to the odd colored water and the pack of wolves. He reaches a hand out and runs his fingers through the curtain of water.

It is like the water doesn't touch him, feeling no wetness. He gasps and yanks his arm back, stumbling over his feet.

"Lee Keonhee, welcome!" a familiar female voice greets him.

From the top of the fountain, like a genie, the fairy princess, Ryu Jin, emerges. Her wings flutter rapidly behind her and carry her down to the ground like a gliding ghost before the shaking man.

"You!" Keonhee gasps.

Ryu Jin's two bare feet land on the cemented ground. "Ryu Jin, the bearer of time-traveling and gifts, who was very hurt and enraged by Lee Jooheon." She puts her hands on her hips and pouts her lip.

Keonhee blinks. "Where are my friends?!"

Ryu Jin abruptly throws a hand up. "You've all been separated here. This is an alternate universe that branches off from the main one. In this universe, you all know one another, possess memories of one another, but you cannot succeed in reaching one another. But...there are three things you must know."

Keonhee stares at her in disbelief.

"First, Seoho is alive."

"Seoho-ssi is alive?!" Keonhee blurts out. "Where?"

Ryu Jin smirks at him. "Somewhere. I cannot tell you though, because, as I told you before, this universe is one where you know one another, but cannot meet."

"Why?" Keonhee questions.

"Second!" Ryu Jin exclaims. "You are the source of healing and connection. Remember my gift of healing. Therefore, Keonhee, you can reunite the group, bring Seoho back and return to the main universe."

"But you just said..." Keonhee starts, rolling his eyes.

"I've said too much!" Ryu Jin gasps, as she begins to fade away into the thin air. "You must find the others! And third! A warning: 'Fix Joohoney's bracelet or you will be trapped and separated in this alternate universe forever!'"

With that, she pops like a bubble, vanishing from sight and existence as quickly as she appeared.
