Alternate Universe Timeline #1: 2024

Keonhee shakes off the shock and takes off, back down the path he'd come from. He has to get out of this maze. He twists and turns, seeing nothing by grass walls, until...finally. He bursts from the grass-wall maze, finding a beach.

Keonhee looks back behind him, seeing the towering structure he'd come from.

Ryu Jin's soft voice comes in his ear: "Fix Joohoney's bracelet or you will be trapped and separated in this alternate universe forever!"

Keonhee nods his head. "Right! I'll find Joohoney and fix it and everything will be as it should be!" He snaps his head back to the beach, shielding his eyes from the sun that peeks out of the overcast clouds.

In the near distance, he spots a blurry couple of figures. Slowly they morph and clarify into two familiar faces.

Keonhee smiles and throws his arm down, before he takes off, heading for them. "YOUNGJO-SSI! SEOHO-SSI!"

RAVN and Seoho halt in place, looking at Keonhee sprinting toward them. They instantly smile and wave to him.

Ryu Jin's voice comes again to him: "This universe is one where you know one another, but cannot meet."

Keonhee suddenly skids to a halt a few feet from the two.

RAVN and Seoho stop as well. They share a bewildered look with one another, the red bracelets are prominent on RAVN and Keonhee, but not on Seoho. Because Seoho wasn't there to get the gift?

After a few intense heartbeats, RAVN takes a step forward, about to say something. Instead, he's cut off by a thunderous cracking sound.

Overhead, the sun vanishes behind a swarm of thick dark gray clouds.

Then the ground shakes under their feet.

RAVN clutches onto Seoho's arms. Seoho screams. Keonhee stumbles and nearly ends up on the ground.

"What's going on?!" Seoho's panicked voice shouts out.

"I'm NOT losing you again!" RAVN roars over the thunderous noise and grips his friend tighter.

Unfortunately, a bright flash of white slices through the air between them. A jagged bolt of electricity that strikes the ground and shoots out, separating RAVN from Seoho and both from Keonhee.

The ground cracks around them, entrapping each in a circle. Then a rush of sand shoots upward and swirls around them.

Keonhee shields his face.

RAVN covers his face, the last thing he sees is Seoho screaming and shielding his face as well before he vanishes from view by the vicious tornado of sand. His ears are still ringing from the sudden earthquake and then...then there is blackness and a numbness settles over his body.
