Shura wasn't the easiest person to talk to after a year of having him talk to people. He was like a flower too shy for the world to show its colors, until the sun like you made the flower bloom happy and proud.

It was winter now in Nohr and Shura wanted you to meet him at the tall tree near the mess hall. It was early morning so the sun was giving you some warmth. The crunch of snow was your favorite sound, especially since you could feel the ice cool your bare feet.

As he said Shura was under the tree and stood up once he saw you. He smiled and bowed. "Thanks for coming, Lady (y/n)."

"Not a problem, Shura. What was it you needed me here?"

"Too tell you about my dreams, and how everyone likes me around here. You were right, everyone else had a harder time than me."

"See everyone in this army is equal to their own hopes."

"Yeah. Also, do you remember this place?"

Looking over it you stared at the tree, a fuzzy memory trying to break through. "I guess but remind me again."

"This is the place where we first had a good conversation. It also made me realize that being an outlaw doesn't mean anything."

"That's so good for you Shura!" You smiled and quickly hugged him, "I'm proud of you!"

"R-Really?" He replied meekly, "C-Can I tell you my dream now?"

"Sure! I'm all your ears."

Shura took a deep breath and looked up at the leaves of the trees. "Kohga was my home. It was where I grew up and dreamed of living their forever, until it got destroyed. But I realized I could help rebuild it."

"I remember you telling me something about this."

"Glad to see your listening to his old-timer. Anyways, when thinking of rebuilding Kohga I realized I wouldn't be able to talk to you people often... after staying in this army for a year the people here have grown on me."

"That's great! Maybe... you could send letters from time to time?"

"I know that, but that would get old and quick. I was thinking if someone from either kingdom would like to stay at Kohga..."

"Well... I'll talk to the people around here if you want."

"That's just the thing," His voice got high as he grabbed your hands, "I just want it to be you, Lady (y/n)."

"Huh?"

"I had a dream were Kohga was rebuild. My wife and child were there, and you were the wife while are child played with the other children."

"S-Shura..." You blushed, "Did you have me inside your dreams all this time...?"

"Y-Yes..." He admitted. "I'm just as embarrassed too. But, I love you Lady (y/n). I-I understand if you wouldn't go for a guy just like me."

"Why wouldn't I?" You said with a smile and grabbed both his hands. "After this past year talking with you I felt we have connected more than before. I'll take your hand in marriage, Shura."

Shura cried out in joy and hugged you close to him. "This dream was built to last." He grabbed your chin and stared into your eyes, "No matter where the future takes us..."

He leaned down and kissed you gently. The cold winter air picked up as it made you shiver during the kissing, but Shura took his first act as a husband and wrapped you in his ribbon that were nice and comfy from his love.
