Well, today was the day my mom officially gets out of the hospital. Eve and I were on our way there to give her a ride home. Diana and Jeremy were already there, cleaning up a little for my moms return.

After signing my mom out and collecting her belongings, we led her out to my car.

"God, I hate hospitals." My mom said as we got in.

I chuckled. "Tell me about it."

"So, how're you feeling, Terri?" Eve asked.

She shrugged. "A little stiff, but pretty good."

We laughed.

"So, what's this big surprise your sister has for us?" My mom asked.

Eve and I shared a confused glance. "Beats me, mom. She didn't tell me anything about a surprise."

My mom just nodded.

After a short car ride, we pulled into my moms driveway.

I got out before helping my mom out and leading her to the door.

   Eve opened it for us.

   "We're home." My mom said.

Diana and Jeremy walked out from the kitchen.

Diana pulled her into a hug. "How're you holding up, mom?"

She smiled. "So far so good."

Jeremy extended his hand. "It's nice to officially meet you."

My mom shook his hand. "Likewise."

"So, what's for dinner?" I asked.

"Your favorite, spaghetti and meatballs." Diana replied.

I smiled. "Cool, let's see if it tastes as good as it smells."

I walked into the kitchen, followed by everyone else.

We all grabbed some food and sat at the table, Eve sitting down next to me.

We ate in mostly silence, exchanging small talk here and there, it wasn't until after dinner that Diana and Jeremy got everyone's attention.

"First off, it's nice to have everyone together for the first time. Looking at all your smiling faces, even you Belle, fills me with joy. Looking at all of you reminds me of one big happy family, a family that got broken apart so many years ago..." Diana stopped to take in a shaky breath.

Jeremy rested his hand on her shoulder.

"But, I'm happy to have everyone here to help Jeremy and I welcome one more person into this happy family of ours." She finished, Jeremy moving his hand to her stomach with a smile.

My moms mouth hung open. "No shit."

"You're pregnant?" I asked in disbelief.

Diana smiled and nodded.

My mom and I immediately got to our feet and pulled her into a tight hug.

"Oh, congratulations, sweetie." My mom said.

"Seriously, I'm so happy for you guys." I added.

"Well, there is one more piece of good news." Jeremy said, cutting our hug short.

We all glanced at him, slightly confused, including Diana.

Jeremy took her hands and pulled her out in front of us.

"Diana Archer, I love you more than anything in this world and I want to spend the rest of my life with you..."

We all let out an audible gasp as he got down on one knee and pulled a small box from his pocket.

"... So, will you make me the happiest man on the planet by marrying me?"

Diana smiled, a few happy tears rolling down her cheeks. "Yes, yes, yes!" She squealed.

We cheered as he got to his feet and pulled her into a deep kiss.

When they finally pulled apart, he took her hand and slid the ring onto her finger.

My mom walked up. "Welcome to the family." She said, sticking her hand in his direction.

He shook it, a bright smile on his face. "Thank you."

"I think this calls for a celebration." Eve said.

And that's exactly what we did. My mom and I quit drinking and Diana couldn't at the moment, but that didn't stop us from having a great time. We spent the rest of the night talking and brainstorming ideas for the wedding and possible baby names.

All in all, it was a great night, that sadly ended to soon.

Diana and Jeremy stood at the door. "We'll let you guys know about the wedding when we get it all figured out."

My mom pulled them into another hug. "Oh, I'm so excited."

I hugged them next, followed by Eve.

"Congratulations, guys." She said.

"Seconded, we're all so happy for you." I added.

After saying our final goodbyes, we headed back to the kitchen table.

"You guys don't have to stay you know?" My mom said, grabbing the dirty dishes from the table.

"It's fine, mom, we insist." I said.

"We just wanna make sure you'll be ok here." Eve added.

My mom turned to us with a smile. "Well, it's appreciated."

After a couple hours of talking, my mom headed to bed, leaving Eve and I to make our way to my old bedroom, which hasn't changed much since I moved out.

"Wow, this is really where you used to stay?" Eve asked.

I glanced around at all the band posters pinned to my black walls and the layers of clothes on the floor with a happy sigh. "Yep, it's good to be home."

Eve sat down on the bed with a slight chuckle, grabbing a few CDs from the nightstand. "Wow, some of these bands are pretty intense."

I sat down next to her. "Well, you know, teenage angst and all... but, I'd rather think about something else."

She set the CDs down and shot me a flirtatious smirk. "Oh yeah? Like what?"

I ran my hand up her thigh. "Oh, I don't know... your lips would be a good start."

She leaned in for a soft kiss before pulling back and whispering in my ear. "Then what..?"

I smiled, taking her hand in mine. "The warmth of your skin on mine."

She rested her hand on my shoulder before slowly running it down my chest.

"Anything else..?"

I tapped my chin. "Hmm... I don't know, I just lost my train of thought."

She let out a giggle before attacking me with kisses, pushing me back onto the bed.

I ran my hands through her hair as she ran hers down my chest and stomach.

She slowly pulled the bottom of my shirt up as she lowered her kisses to my neck and collar bone, then down my chest to my waistline.

She tugged on my belt and looked up into my eyes. "What do you think about this?"

I swallowed hard. "I think it's time that came off."

She smirked before undoing my belt and dropping it to the floor. "And what about these pesky jeans?"

I shook my head. "I've always hated these pants."

She laughed before undoing the button and pulling those off as well, then started kissing a trail slowly back up to my lips.

I moved my kisses to her neck before whispering in her ear. "I think you know what to do next."

She giggled before running her hand back down my stomach, then lower...
