As Mileena walked to her shared room with her two sister, Kitana...she sensed two presences watching her every step. Despite that, she wasn't alarmed since they were Li Mei and Tanya...their close friends, but also their trained bodyguards. Apparently, their mother was an empress who lived in another realm who escaped with Kitana before coming back and taking one of her supposed clones as well. She had expected some resentment and disgust from her twin, but she got accepted. Though that got her curious on what their relationship could've been if they stayed in that supposed realm. However, the slamming of their door interrupted her thoughts.

"Mileena, did you study for that test today?" Kitana asked.

"Yes. Though we have to get ready for another to test our skills again." Mileena said which caused Kitana to groan for the embedding pain coming their way. Their mother wanted to keep their skills sharp in cause any unwanted visitors come their way...though she hasn't spotted any, yet. Speaking of their mother, she was sipping some coffee in the garden before she noticed someone approaching.

"Hello, Raiden...Did you come to see if any of Shao Khan's forces arrive?" Sindel said.

"Yes. While also wondering why you decided to run after the death of your husband?" Raiden said.

"If I stayed, I would be forced to lead my daughters to lives of suffering. So I thought that it would be a good idea to come to Earth Realm so my daughters can lead a happy life." Sindel said.

"I see, but I fear that he would issue a Mortal Kombat tournament in the near future." Raiden said.

"I would see that he would do that into order to take control of Earth Realm which is why I'm preparing the other wives and our children for what is to come. Though I sense that this may not be the only big event coming our way." Sindel said. 

"I will keep visiting then and tell your husband to keep an eye out." Raiden said before disappearing in a flash of lightning. After his visit, Sindel sighed and wondered why her so called husband (Shao Khan) would attempt to take over now. If he truly wanted to, he could've taken over years earlier. Though at the time, she started to go out with her true husband who had some tragedy happen to him as well. It was also when getting married to multiple partners was accepted in Japan...not like she minded since she had managed to bring some allies over as well while making sure that they would keep her daughters safe. That didn't mean that she shouldn't prepare her daughters for the fight that could be coming any day, month or year. 

"Sigh...Hopefully, I can teach the others some techniques before any danger arises." She said to herself before heading back inside. At the same time, Lily just returned back at her house while feeling relieved to finally tell someone about her secret conversations with her brother. It was hard not too, but her sisters would've ruined everything if they tried to contact him with her. 

"Lily..." a voice said to the left of her. Lily turned her head to the left to see her sisters sitting in the living room. They had looks of betrayal on their faces which wouldn't be anything new if she never saw how they ganged up on which ever sister kept something from them.

"What's up?" Lily asked.

"Have you been keeping something from us?" Her oldest sister said. If she was the same little girl years earlier, she would've given herself away. However, that all changed once Sonya started to teach her how to lie and get out of some sticky situations.

"No. I don't know why you ask though since I only talked to...." Lily said before Lori continued.

"Well, Lola might have been around when you told Ronnie Anne and the others about Lincoln so..." Lori stated before Lily started to laugh.

"Oh that. I asked them to help me perfect my acting skills since I'm not every good with it. I mean, you've seen how I act on stage so you get why I need the help." Lily said.

"But...." Lori started to ask before Lily started to head back to her room.

"Shouldn't you start preparing to go to Japan instead of accusing me of holding back information?" Lily said before she went upstairs while texting Lincoln about the encounter. He needed to get a heads up on what is to happen after all...though it was a close call with them, she could tell that they would be keeping a close eye on her. 

A fact that only made the reunion much more stressful considering how pushy they all are. Though she knew that more chaos would be coming their way.
