Title: Earthquake
Prompt: "Does anyone have a cough drop?"
A/N: Cole and Seliel making out. That's it. That's the fic.

Cole watched the others play Fist2Face 2, avidly awaiting his turn. His attention was divided between the TV in the common room of the monastery and Seliel fiddling with her hot pink hair. She had paid them a visit while her father was on official business in Ninjago City, hammering out trade deals with Nom.

His eyes flicked from the TV, then back to Seliel, and watched as she pulled a cough drop out of her pocket, unwrapped it, then popped it into her mouth. Her jaw moved minutely and Cole imagined she was twirling her tongue around the medicine disguised as hard candy.

He coughed lightly, then asked, "Does anyone have a cough drop?"

No one drew their attention away from the screen except for Seliel. She smiled at him then opened her mouth, showing him the cough drop trapped between her front teeth, framed by full lips.

Cole shifted his gaze from her mouth back to her eyes. "One that hasn't been in your mouth?"

Her tongue darted out and swept the cough drop back in. Her lips came together in a smug smile and she shrugged her shoulders as she sashayed past him, leaving the common room.

Cole stared blankly at the space she had just occupied, internal battle raging within. He surveyed the room and saw everyone was engrossed in the game, then slipped away without anyone noticing.

Arriving in the training courtyard, Cole found Seliel leaning against the wall near the murals, scrolling through her phone, seemingly unimpressed with the content. As he approached she looked up at him, glint in her eye.

"Need a cough drop?" she cooed.

"My throat is sore." He took a step closer.

"Aww, that's too bad. Are you getting sick?" She grabbed a lock of hair and twirled it through her fingers.

"Sick of your teasing."

"Hmmm, I might have a cure for you."

"That's nice. Are you going to share?" He took another step forward, his hot breath tickling her forehead.

"Hmmmmm." She hummed, staring at his strong jaw.

Cole sucked in a breath as she leaned in, then he closed the gap between them. Lips came together in heated rhythm and her hands snaked around his neck. His tongue slipped in, hunting for the cough drop, but she countered and parried, sliding her tongue over his in a delicious game of keep-away.

She pulled her arms tighter around his neck, tangling her fingers in his hair, igniting and smothering his frustration. She nipped and licked, matching the intensity of her earlier heated glances and stolen looks, pushing him over the edge of sanity, daring him to start an avalanche.

Slow. They needed to slow down, he needed to slow down before the momentum was impossible to stop. She cooed into him and his elemental power surged and trembled throughout his form. Seliel pulled away, taking his lower lip with her until it snapped back with a wet slap and leaned against the wall, trailing her fingers over the bulge of his biceps.

Braced himself on the wall, caging her in, breathing deep.

"Why are you here Seliel?"

"Isn't it obvious?" she looked at him through her lashes with a smoldering glance, "I want to feel the earth quake."

He was vaguely aware that his palms punched through the cement of the wall behind her head, arms glowing orange.

His breath tickled her forehead as he tried to steady himself, struggling to remember that she didn't have powers like them. He had to remain in control or he would crush her too. His super strength was both a blessing and a curse, constantly surrounded by cardboard and glass.

Her hand came up and cradled his chin, casting him a knowing glance before whispering in his ear, "Don't worry, I won't break."

His elemental power spiked and the cracks in the wall shattered tenfold. Her exhale was accompanied by a faint sound as the cough drop rattled between her teeth. She captured his lips again, this time sensual and slow, tasting of sunshine and cherry syrup. The cough drop was thrust into his mouth and before he could react she pulled away, ducking under his strong arms.

"I hope your throat feels better," she said as she sauntered away, "see you around, Earth Ninja."
