The alley was narrow, with the dumpster pushed up at the dead end. The brick walls on either side were damp as puddles formed underfoot. The only clue as to where Donnie might have gone after ditching his jacket was the fire escape that was rusted from disuse. It was high off the ground, but seeing as there was no other way out, that seemed like the only answer.

But of course that was assuming that he left of his own free will. It was a whole other problem if the Bloodthirsty Bubblegum Princess had been through here, if she had taken Donnie. From the little information on Nova that Julia had leaked before her own disappearing act, it was obvious of two things: Nova didn't like to be told what to do, and everyone around her let her get away with it.

One had to wonder if Nova was collecting mutants for a specific purpose. It could be anything. But the most obvious one would be that she was building an army.

An army to save the world? Or an army to destroy it? It was anybody'd guess at this point. Was she acting on her own agenda or was the ellusive Leader of the Raiders?

"Julia's gone, we have no clue where Nova is or what she's up to, we've basically lost Donnie's trail, it's still raining...." Oliver ticked the unlucky things off his fingers, "So what do we do now?"
