Felix's birds flapped their wings valiently. The Atmosphere was freezing, with crystals of water droplets hanging on all thier skins. Their clothes were still damp from the downpour, but now they frosted over with the frigid winds. Everyone seemed to have trouble breathing, taking short shallow breaths until thier lungs burned with ice.

But all of it was better than the alternative: down below the building had brought itself down. Motor and stone crumbled under the weight of the ceiling and the supporting walls fell like a house made of playing cars. Giant flumes of dust caked the roads and buried the Zombies and the cars and the possibilities of going throuhg the district unnoticed.

Cold winds tugged at their clothes and hairs.

"We need to find a place to land," Oliver said to the remainder of the group that was conscious. "I'm not sure if the change in altitude knocked Jax out or if it was an exhaustion of his powers. I did not bring you all to the future to have you die before Squirt and Donnie are safe!"

Weightless or not, the birds could not hold them forever. And that omninous hum of the thunder was most likely not a good thing. Electicity hummed in the air, rippening to catch all of them in it's deadly static net.
