As Rose requested for Camilla's presence in the school, she had Livvy take over Percy's roles, dressing her son so beautifully and having her prepare a delicious breakfast, and also preparing lunch in a lunch box. Percy can't help but be suspicious at his mother's sudden act of kindness, but a part of him hopes that it'll be forever as they went on their way.

Usually, Percy would've waited until Oliver arrives to go, but since he also knows the road and his mother is insisting to go now, they'll go on their own. Percy's skin turned cold at the thought of going to school first and leaving his best friend behind but insisting on waiting and angering his mother scared him more. Hopefully, he'll understand.

"Mummy, the school's there-" Percy points to the school, noticing how his mother sneered at the sight of the muggles. Percy can't blame her, he was just like that when he first got here. It took him quite a while (and befriending two muggles) to stop viewing them as lesser than him.

"Show me where the science lab is," Camilla told him. Percy nodded as he pointed to a classroom with white walls, and Camilla nodded as she hugged him. Percy didn't say anything as he walked away from her, Camilla heading in for the classroom to see Rose and Rachel.

"Hello-" Camilla curtly nodded, containing herself not to sneer at these disgusting can't-spells. "Why am I here? Is it regarding Percy's grades?"

"It's not, uhh-" Rachel bit her bottom lip, looking around and grabbing a jar, opening and offering to Camilla. "Sweets?"

"No, thank you."

"It is regarding Percy," Rose answered. Camilla tried to hide her discomfort at the mention of him as she sighed.

"What has he done?"

"Well, first, I notice that somehow his handwriting in homework is horrible to look at but his handwriting in schoolwork is nice and neat," Rose notes. "Could there be someone else writing him his homework?"

"Oh, our helper also happens to be his tutor," Camilla chuckled. "It's nothing to be worried about, I never realised that he forced the helper to do his homework for him, I'll tell him that."

"Isn't it odd that he always looks so tired and shabby when he comes to school?" Rose added. Camilla closed her mouth. "I remember a couple of times when he came to school with chicken poop in his hair, I washed it myself to make sure the smell goes away."

"We own lots of chickens, see-" Camilla smiled at Rose and Rachel. "Around 37, if I remember right. Maybe he tripped on the grass which would be filled with chicken poop and his hair caught on some, and instead of coming back to the house, he continued to run off for school. I'll tell him to always return and shower again if he falls on the grass." Camilla shook her head. "Is there anything else?"

"Well, when he passed out, you said he hasn't eaten anything at home because he didn't want to," Rachel contributed. "But when we gave him food, he ate two plates. He also ate some of his classmate's meal earlier. With those factors in mind, it doesn't quite add up."

"He just passed out, you know how kids are always starving after they passed out," Camilla shook her head, remembering the situation. "He didn't want to have his breakfast but usually he does. It's so rare that he doesn't eat breakfast so I suppose you'd understand why he passed out, as the school he- nurse." Camilla bit her lip as she drinks the provided water. "I'll be sure to force him to eat his breakfast before school."

"So you don't usually force your son to eat breakfast before school?"

"I do," Camilla refuted. "He slept late earlier as he had more homework than usual and he didn't want to be late." Camilla raised an eyebrow at Rose. "Maybe as an institution, you'd consider the amount of homework you give your students."

"See, part of what I must do to revive fainting patients is to take off the socks and lift the legs," Rachel continued. She can tell it was the right thing to say since Camilla's face has gone a bit paler. "So when I do so to Percy, I can't help but notice some bruises on his legs. The bruises looked deep, nothing you'd see in a playground accident."

"Well, it is a 'playground accident' or whatever you call it," Camilla answered, placing air quotes on the word 'playground accident'. "We own a horse, see. The helper said he fell riding the horse."

"I'm also curious, a few days ago when we held a Mother's Day celebration, you didn't come and Percy was the only one who wasn't wearing a suit," Rose continued. Camilla's brows furrowed as she tried to remember the day, but she couldn't.

"Percy never told me about a Mother's Day celebration," Camilla shook her head. "What must be done?"

"Percy never told you?" Rose asked. Camilla shook her head. "Well, on that day, everyone is supposed to tell a story about their mothers before giving their mothers roses."

"What did Percy tell?" Camilla asked, feeling her guts plummet as she cracked her knuckles. How far did he talk?

"He didn't tell a story about you, he said he doesn't have a mother and cried so hard when he finished telling the story that he ran away-" Rose's voice starts breaking that she stopped for a moment, drinking her water and take few breaths in. "When it was time for giving roses, he wanted to give his to me but instead gave it to Oliver Wood's mother, who calmed him down when he was crying."

"I-" Camilla had a hand up and balled to a fist, having a coughing fit. "I didn't know about any of that." A drop of tear fell from the side of Camilla's right eye as she sobbed, her hand on her heart. "I didn't realise he doesn't see me as his mother. I never mistreated him, I gave him everything he needed and more!"

"Calm down, Mrs Rosier-" Rachel pats Camilla's back as Camilla drank her water.

"As his teacher, I am concerned about his wellbeing," Rose continued, not buying Camilla's act. "As you seem to be a very busy woman, I wish to propose an arrangement with you."

"That is?"

"At weekdays, Percy shall live with me," Rose revealed. "But at weekends, he may come back to live with you."

"No," Camilla answered sharply. "You are not taking him away from me."

"Mrs Rosier-"

"I'll kill anyone who even dares to separate me from my Percy!" Camilla declared as she stood up, fire in her eyes. "He is staying with me!"

"I'm not proposing this to hurt you, Mrs Rosier," Rose shook her head. "Perhaps if you try to calm down, you-"

"No one knows my son as well as I do!" Camilla barked. "I know him like the back of my palm! I raised him since he was a baby!"

"I'm not saying-"

"Goodbye!" Camilla cuts Rose as she turned her hell to the door, never facing back.
