They left their horses to the back of the trees and Katie sneaked closer to the hut with the Princess following her.

" What's the plan?" She whispered and the Princess shrugged and wrote on the sand.

" Make it up as we go?" Katie said reading her writing out loud and the Princess nodded.

Katie sighed but nodded, it was gonna be a lot harder with a person that couldn't speak.

She stood on the right side of the door and the Princess stood on the left. She held up three fingers and mouthed,

" Three.." She put down a finger.

" Two..." She put down another finger until there was only one.

" One."

" Now!" Katie shouted and she kicked open the door and they both ran in.

The man jumped up alarmed, seeing the Princess made him baffled but he grabbed the purse and backed away from them.

" Give us the purse and we won't have to do anything else."  Katie said calmly and the Princess nodded aggressively with the statement.

He cursed and jumped out the window in the back that Katie hadn't spotted.

" Dang it, of course there's a window." She said and cursed to herself for not seeing it before and jumped out the window to chase after him.

She saw him dash through the trees so she went the same way as him because she didn't know any shortcuts. She realized she left the Princess behind but relaxed when she felt the Princess on her peach horse behind her.

Because of her training she could endure more so she was glad for that.

" You can't keep running, you know!"  She shouted but that didn't stop the thief from going faster.

When Katie looked back for a moment while running she realized the Princess was not following her anymore but she didn't dare stop because the Princess knew her way around the forest better than anyone else.

She ran into a branch when she looked forward again and the water drops fell on her and messed up her hair but she kept running. She was gonna catch that thief no matter what.

When she noticed that the thief was starting to slow down a bit, she forced her aching legs to give a boost to her speed and dived for him.

She grabbed onto his waist area and they both fell down onto the ground and he dropped the purse.

Before he could grab the purse again, Katie saw the Princess's boots block the way and the Princess helped her up.

Katie grinned as the Princess smiled and they both high-fived.

The thief scowled as Katie forced him to get up but his scowl quickly disappeared when she elbowed him in the stomach hard.

" That's for getting me lost in the forest!" She said and then she suddenly remembered something important she left behind.

" Bandit!"

Theo couldn't hold it in anymore.

It had been a hour now and Katie and the Princess were nowhere to be seen.

" I'm going in there." He told Keith but Keith shook his head and held out a hand to stop him.

" A few more minutes.." He murmured and Theo had no choice but to listen.

After a few seconds Theo was about to go in again when he heard faint footsteps.

" Katie?" He said out loud and saw three human figures, the Princess's horse, and an annoyed looking black horse.

The Princess had led them all back to the entrance and Katie was holding the thief captive to make sure he wouldn't run off.

She had twigs and leaves in her wet looking hair and there were mud on her clothes but she had a smile on her face.

" Theo look! We caught the thief!" She exclaimed like a child almost and ran to him once another knight took custody of the thief.

" Thank God you're safe. You can't just run off like that!" Theo said scolding her and she almost rolled her eyes.

" Yeah yeah, you sound a lot like my mom now." She said and he started to stutter.

" N-No I don't." He said his neck flushing and she laughed.

Theo sighed and smiled.

' As long as you're happy.'
