"A mall fight?" Koko exclaimed incredulously.

I hung in the shadows behind her, feeling guilty. She was in the police station and talking with one of the police women. I glanced around, hoping no one would see me.

The police women nodded. "It only involved kids from Ninjago High." She assured her. "And as far as I know there were no weapons. But the ninja were involved." She shook her head. Apparently she wasn't aware of who she was talking to. "I'm worried about what sort of impact they are trying to make on Ninjago City."

Koko blanched. "Yes, well, I believe that everyone makes mistakes and perhaps it's a good thing to show that people can bounce back."

The police women shrugged and typed on the computer. "Anyway, who are you here for?"

"Lloyd Garmadon." Koko held a really good poker face, she brushed some ginger hair from her eyes as the policewomen gaped, turning a little red.

"Right..." The women pressed her lips together and clicked a few times on the keyboard. "Do you know who's coming for the rest of his friends?"

"Where are they?" An accented voice demanded. I turned to see an old man in a long white robe, wearing a large hat and wielding a bamboo staff dangerously.

He had a long white beard like a wizard and his eyes-which were narrowed in anger-were full of wisdom. But at the time they were mostly full of pure fury.

The police women shrunk away as he marched up to the desk and slammed his staff into the counter. "The ninja? Where are they? I have come to get them!"

She pointed a shaky hand at the door that opened, policemen escorted the sheepish looking ninja out. They visibly paled when they saw the old man.

"Hey Sensei..." Cole said nervously. "Wassup?

"Don't Wassup me?" Sensei stomped over to them and whacked them smartly over the head with his staff.

"What sort of image are you trying portray? Getting arrested, starting a fight?"  He demanded.

  "What?" Kai sputtered.

"Our actions would be viewed as a encouragement of bad behaviour." Zane's robotic voice said helpfully.

  "Thanks Zane." Jay sighed sarcastically.

"I was wondering if you all had a few more minutes." A policeman asked. "We would like to discuss the events that happened."

Sensei nodded. "I agree, I'd like to take part in this discussion."

As he followed the policeman he sent them all a look. "I am very disappointed in all of  you!"

"Uncle Wu..." Lloyd started but he had rounded the corner.

"Come on ninja," another police officer grunted. "Let's get this over with."

As they started Koko ran after, I hovered back wondering if I should join. I watched them enter the room and Lloyd threw me a glance over my shoulder. His emerald eyes held so much emotion in them I froze.

"Excuse me." A dark haired officer spoke. "Did you witness the events in the mall?"

"Uh...yes." He motioned for me to go.

"Then we'd like you to be apart of the discussion, if you have any input you can out it in privately if you'd prefer." He guided me inside.

The room was large, probably used for therapy or something because there were many chairs around the room. Brock and the rest of the gang were already seats, looking upset and angry. Brock had his arms crossed over his chest. I could see parents looking either disapprovingly or defiantly in their own chairs.

Everyone turned to look at the ninja as they entered. Zane scanned the people their blankly. Kai, making a sneer and clenching his fists. Nya and Cole both scowled and glared. Jay avoided all eye contact squeaking when he met Brock's by accident. Lloyd kept his face stony. The green eyes sweeping across the room, meeting each and every pair of eyes that dared look his way.

Brock smiled when he saw me, giving me a nod that made my stomach go queasy when Lloyd glanced back at me. I couldn't read his expression as I took my seat. He directed his head away from me and turned to the women in the centre of the circle of chairs. The officers spread out near the entrances and around the rest of the room.

"Alright!" The women nodded to Brock. "Each of you will explain what you think happened privately in the room over there with me."

Brock sat up from his slouch, leaning his elbows on his knees. "I don't need to talk about it privately." He growled. "I can say what happened right here and now, there's no need to hide it."

"Really? Well so can we!" Kai snarled, he ignored the warning look from Sensei Wu.

"Great!" The women sighed, trying to keep a smile. "While we're talking my names Lisa, nice to meet you all!"

Silence.

"Splendid, let's start with you, boy." She motioned to Brock. "What's your name? If you wish to speak so freely of your case we might as well know your name."

"Brock." He grunted.

"Alright Brock, what do you say happened?" She asked.

Brock's dad narrowed his eyes at Lloyd as Brock cleared his throat. "Well, I was at the mall, hanging with my friends when Lloyd and his group came barging over. They were making such a ruckus and when I went to talk to him he punched me in the face."

I gritted my teeth together, not liking how he twisted the events his own way. Lloyd raised an eyebrow at the description of the events, keeping his cool and holding his solid facade.

"And Lloyd," Lisa turned to him. "How do you see these events going?"

"We entered the mall," Lloyd started. "You know, prepared to laugh and goof off like normal teenagers, probably check out the arcade. We can't get enough of the new games there."

That brought a few chuckles. "Brock and his friends were there. They generally aren't big fans of us so we decided to leave." I blinked at the softened part of the story, wondering why he didn't say how Brock started by deliberately trying to bait them.

"That's when he decides to insult us." Lloyd's voice hardened. I could tell though he had made the first part a little more pleasant he wasn't going to give him an excuse for what he said. "I gave him a warning and he disregarded it."

"You broke my nose!" Brock snapped, jumping up.

"I'm glad I did!" Lloyd hissed back, but he stayed in his seat. I noted how his fingers gripped his chair. "You do not get to insult us like that and get away with it!"

Suddenly everyone was throwing around arguments and jumping up
I could hardly understand what was happening anymore. Kai had started lunging at Brock as the shouting continued. Brock's father placed a hand in his sons shoulder and began talking in the same harsh way as his son, proclaiming Lloyd a liar and a horrible representative of the city.

"QUIET!" Everyone stopped as a shriek rang through the air and turned to stare at a flustered and very frustrated Lisa.

"SIT DOWN! ALL OF YOU!" She barked, pointing a perfectly manicured nail at the chairs. The ninja guiltily sat. Sensei Wu, who had been having a little to kuch fun engaging in the argument reluctantly did so as well. There was a loud rustle as everyone else followed.

"Right!" Lisa sighed. "We aren't going to get anything done if we all just start arguing! This is why this is all down in private!"

Zane raised a hand hesitantly. "Excuse me-"

"Not now!" She snapped. "How are we supposed to get the answer if you're all just tossing blame around like a tin can!"

"Miss-"

"We're going to be stuck here because we will never be able to figure out what really happened? You know why? Because someone managed to fry the circuit for the security cameras when the fight happened! And managed to explode the computer as well! We're having serious power outage all along that street now!"

Jay slithered lower in his chair as she said that.

"Ma'am, if I may..." Zane tried again.

"How are we supposed to get proof when all the cameras became literal bombs?" She ranted.

"Miss!"

"WHAT?" She whirled on him, making everyone suck in a breath and stare.

Zane blinked, unfazed. "Would perfectly recored footage of the incident by one of the participants that was not fried by electricity help?"

She blinked. "Uh....yes."

We all dimmed the lights as Zane projected the video from his eyes. I could see a video of him talking to Cole. As it carried on we saw Cole slyly creep his hand to his nose and pick at the nostril.

"Can we please fast forward?" Cole exclaimed.

Zane nodded and the image whirred forward, it speeded through a long serious of Cole picking his nose before it showed him walking into the mall, talking smoothly among the group.

"You totally like her." Kai was saying.

"I do not!" Lloyd snapped in exasperation, his green eyes glancing as it turned to where Zane was.

"Admit it, all this is just a master plan to sweep her off her feet!" Cole joined in.

"No!" Lloyd glared at them. My brow furrowed and flicked to where Lloyd was slouching in his chair and covering his face with one hand.

The rest of the ninja's just snickered.

Kai was about to begin further teasing when Brock entered the scene. Zane had joined the front lines of the posse so we got a good shot of what was happening.

"Hey Garmadork!" Lloyd tensed as the snarky words sounded.

"What are you doing here? Trying to stop people from taking candy from babies?"

"Chill Brock," Lloyd's calm voice drifted in. "We'll go." I noticed Koko reach to take her sons hand, biting her lip as she focused the the screen.

Everyone slowly turned to stare at Brock who scowled as his insults played by. A few officers stifled a gasp at the harsh words.

"Old man?" Wu exclaimed, apparently insulted.

There was a loud noise as Lloyd pulled back and punched Brock full in the face, the video was jostled as Zane engaged on the fight, trying to punch his way to where Lloyd expertly finished some of the gang off.

"Attaboy." I heard Koko say. Maybe it was good thing Garmadon wasn't here. It would be too similar to a school football game.

Zane pause the video as the security came in, conveniently it froze on my face. I was in mid hobble, my face panic stricken as I stared at the scene.

"Well..." The lights flicked up as Lisa spoke. "Yes, Lloyd did start the fight." She raised a finger in silence when protests started.

"But it was Brock who provoked it with verbal abuse, Brock I am sorry but we will need to talk a little more about the severity of the situation and there will be consequences." She said seriously. "We will also speak briefly with Lloyd but the ninja and their family can leave for now, we will call you when we are ready to speak about it."

Lloyd nodded curtly before jumping up, ready to leave. I grabbed my crutches and swung toward the door. Brock was on his way out to another discussion room and he jogged up to me.

"This is ridiculous!" He said in a stage whisper. "Garmaboy should be the one punished! Did you see what he did to my face! He also beat up Michael and Trent!"

He waited expectantly for me to agree. I looked up to see Lloyd watching our exchange, his face unreadable as he waited also for my response.

"I gotta go." I muttered finally, ducking my head and speeding up my pace, moving swiftly by Lloyd.
