3rd Person POV

[The Blue Eyes Master is walking to the room where Jack Atlas asked to meet. Jack hasn't been the same ever since that Masked Boy showed up and beat him and then disappeared. He and Goodwin have been looking all over for the Masked Boy. Jack because he wants a rematch and Goodwin because he wanted to get more information on the Crimson Dragon. The Blue Eyes Master enters the room Jack is waiting]

Jack: Thank you for coming on such short notice.

Blue Eyes Master: I can't really say no to a rival, now can I?

Jack: I don't see you as a rival but as a friend. The duel circuit is a lonely life, but you and I have been together since I first got here.

Blue Eyes Master: You mean since you left Yusei.

Jack: I'm your friend and if you want it to stay like that then don't bring that name up again.

Blue Eyes Master: Of course.

Jack: I have a match tonight against Hunter Pace, but I can't bring myself to duel him. I'm still very shaken from the loss that Masked Boy gave me.

Blue Eyes Master: I saw that footage.

Jack: I want a rematch with him. So, I'm offering you a deal. I want you to duel in my place and in turn I'll give you another title shot but I won't cheat this time.

Blue Eyes Master: Jack, we're friends. You don't have to do that.

Jack: I've made up my mind. I want to correct a wrong that I made a long time ago. If you win this duel your popularity will sky rocket. Well, it already has thanks to you alias.

Blue Eyes Master: Very well, Jack. I accept your deal.

[The Blue Eyes Master and Jack shake hands. The Blue Eyes Master walks to garage to pick up his duel runner and head to the arena. He is stopped by Goodwin]

Goodwin: Thank you, Blue Eyes Master. You might have just saved Jack's career. If you need anything don't be afraid to hesitate.

Blue Eyes Master: Thank you.

[The Blue Eyes Master gets on his duel runner and heads to the arena]

Blue Eyes Master: (Thoughts) I must do this for Rin. I know she'll be watching when she hears that I'm dueling. She has so much faith in me. Yugo too. It was always our dream to enter the Fortune Cup and win but especially duel in front of a large crowd. I guess this is us living our dream.

[The Blue Eyes Master arrives at the arena. The Announcer announces the change in the duel]

Announcer: Apparently Jack Atlas is unable to duel tonight.

Crowd: Boo!

Announcer: But the show must go on and there is someone to take his place.

Spectator: I don't care. I wanted to see Jack Atlas. I want my money back.

Announcer: The duelist that will be replacing him will be the Blue Eyes Master!

[The crowd cheers louder than they would for Jack]

Spectator: Never mind! I should've paid more if he's dueling!

Announcer: Please welcome the only man who has ever gotten within a turn to beating Jack Atlas. Please welcome the Master of Blue! The man whose face has never been seen! The Blue Eyes Master!

[The crowd cheers as if their lives depended on it. The Blue Eyes Master arrives at the starting line. Hunter Pace turns to him]

Hunter Pace: It's an honor to duel against you.

Blue Eyes Master: Why is that?

Hunter Pace: I heard Jack looked at your deck before the match and that's why you lost. I find it honorable that you didn't make it a big deal and kept going. I surely wouldn't have.

Blue Eyes Master: You just got to move on.

[Meanwhile back in the Satellite, Yugo is running to find Rin. He finds her sleeping]

Yugo: Rin!

[Rin snaps awake]

Rin: What is it, Yugo?

Yugo: JP is going to duel!

Rin: What?

[Rin and Yugo run to where people are watching a television. Rin sees JP in his Blue Eyes Mask and smiles]

Rin: (Thoughts) My hero. Good luck. I know you'll be fine.

[The duel is about to begin and the duelists start riding. Standing in the crowd is the Black Rose Witch]

Black Rose Witch: (Thoughts) I hope you know what you're doing, my friend.

Turn 1-Blue Eyes Master

Blue Eyes Master-8000 LP/Hunter Pace-8000 LP

Blue Eyes Master: Let's rev it up! I'll go first! My turn. I place one card face down. From my hand I activate a spell: The Melody of Awakening Dragon! By discarding a card this allows me to add two Blue Eyes from my deck to my hand!

Announcer: The Blue Eyes Master isn't wasting any time.

Blue Eyes Master: From my hand I activate the spell: Polymerization! I fuse together my two Blue Eyes White Dragons! I fusion summon! Come forth! Level 10! Blue Eyes Twin Burst Dragon!

Blue Eyes Twin Burst Dragon: Level 10- 3000 ATK/ 2500 DEF

Blue Eyes Master: Turn end. Now I can activate the special ability of the White Stone of Ancients in my Graveyard. I can summon a Blue Eyes from my deck! Come forth! Blue Eyes White Dragon!

Blue Eyes White Dragon: Level 8- 3000 ATK/ 2500 DEF

[The Blue Eyes appears and roars is if it's angry. The crowd is too excited to care]

Turn 2-Hunter Pace

Blue Eyes Master-8000 LP/Hunter Pace-8000 LP

Hunter Pace: I'm impressed. Let me return the favor. My turn. I draw. I send Skull Conductor from my hand to the Graveyard. This allows me to special summon another Skull Conductor from my hand in DEF Mode. I also place another monster face down in DEF Mode and end my turn.

Announcer: With two powerful monsters on the field, Hunter Pace decides to play it safe.

Turn 3-Blue Eyes Master

Blue Eyes Master-8000 LP/Hunter Pace-8000 LP

Blue Eyes Master: My turn. Draw. Battle. My Blue Eyes Twin Burst Dragon can attack monsters twice. Say goodbye to your two DEF monsters!

Hunter Pace: No!

Blue Eyes Master: Now you're wide open! Blue Eyes, attack Hunter Pace directly! White Lightning!

Hunter Pace: Ahh!

Hunter Pace-8000 LP - - - 5000 LP

Announcer: Hunter Pace is already down to 5000 LP after one attack from Blue Eyes White Dragon. Can he mount a comeback?

Blue Eyes Master: Turn end.

Turn 4-Hunter Pace

Hunter Pace: I may be losing but I'm having too much fun to care. My turn. I draw. I activate the special ability of my Plaguespreader Zombie in my Graveyard. By placing one card from my hand to the top of my deck I can special summon this card from the Graveyard!

Plaguespreader Zombie: Level 2- 400 ATK/ 200 DEF

Hunter Pace: I'll place another monster face down in DEF Mode and end my turn.

Turn 5-Blue Eyes Master

Blue Eyes Master: My turn. Draw. I place a card face down. Battle. Blue Eyes Twin Burst Dragon, attack and destroy his two DEF Monsters!

Hunter Pace: No!

Blue Eyes Master: Blue Eyes, attack him directly with White Lightning!

Hunter Pace: Ahh!

Hunter Pace-5000 LP - - - 2000 LP

Announcer: Hunter Pace is in big trouble! If he can't do anything his next turn then the Blue Eyes Master will finish Hunter Pace off his next turn.

Blue Eyes Master: Turn end.

Turn 6-Hunter Pace

Hunter Pace: Must make this turn count. My turn. I draw. I can't do anything. I end my turn.

Announcer: Hunter Pace couldn't do anything. This duel is over!

Hunter Pace: Hey, finish this duel. I got dinner to eat. It was a great duel. Good luck with facing Jack.

[The Blue Eyes Master just nods]

Turn 7-Blue Eyes Master

Blue Eyes Master: My turn. Draw. Battle. Blue Eyes, attack him directly and end this duel! White Lightning!

Hunter Pace: Ahh!

Hunter Pace-2000 LP - - - 0 LP

Winner: Blue Eyes Master

[The crowd cheers way more loudly then they would have for Jack]

Announcer: There it is, everyone! The Blue Eyes Master beats Hunter Pace in just seven turns! This is a message to Jack Atlas: The Blue Eyes Master is coming for you! Let's give it up again for the Blue Eyes Master!

[The crowd cheers wildly. Meanwhile Jack is watching the duel from his room. He smiles. The Black Rose Witch walks away from her seat. Rin and Yugo are cheering with the spectators]

Yugo: That's my best friend!

Person: You know the Blue Eyes Master?

[Rin bonks Yugo on the head. They are supposed to keep JP's identity a secret]

Yugo: I was joking!

[Rin smiles]

Rin: I knew you could do it.
