3rd Person POV

[JP is asleep in his bed. His window is opened and in climbs a cat-girl. She decides to place things where they're not supposed to. Astral sees all of this going down. This has been happening for the last several days. Astral decided not to say anything and let JP figure it out what is going on. In the morning, Tori is talking to Yuma and Bronk. She is still stunned on how JP acted the last time he dueled. Was it possible that JP liked her too? Speaking of JP, he walks in]

JP: Morning, guys, how's it going?

[Tori smiles but it quickly disappears when she sees what JP's wearing. Everyone is laughing]

JP: Why is everyone laughing?

Tori: Do you know what you've put on this morning?

[JP closes his eyes]

JP: Do I want to look?

Tori: It's not too bad if you're into retro.

JP: I honestly don't know what's going on. Little things like this have been happening the last several days. It's almost like someone is messing with me!

[Tori turns very red and struggles to say something]

JP: What's wrong, Tori?

Tori: Well, I have something to ask you...

JP: Go ahead.

Tori: WillYouGoToTheMoviesAtTheMallWithMe?

JP: Okay. Slower.

Tori: Will...you...go...to

JP: Okay a little faster.

Tori: Will you go the movies as the mall with me?

JP: Are you asking me out, Tori?

Tori: No! I just want to repay you for saving me the other day.

JP: Sure. I'll go with you. Is tomorrow okay?

Tori: Sure! I'll make sure I wear something nice!

[Tori runs away in excitement. Yuma and Bronk have smiles plastured on their faces]

JP: What?

Yuma/Bronk: Nothing.

JP: You guys are so weird.

[JP walks away. A certain cat-girl is not happy on how things just happened because this isn't the way she was hoping it would go. So, she heads home to figure out another plan. She goes to her cat mansion and surrounds herself with her cats. She has somehow learned how to communicate with them]

Cathy: My friends. You're the only ones who care about me and now I need your help. I need you to deal with an annoying little mouse.

[Cathy throws pictures of Tori onto the ground. The cats see them]

Cathy: She has things that I don't have. She has friends. One friend in particular. It's not fair. She makes me a sad kitten. We don't like her, do we?

[Cathy and the cats exchange hisses]

Cathy: I want you to find this little mouse and when you do I want you to pounce!

[The next day, Tori is racing to the mall. She is late for her "date."]

Tori: Who does this, Tori? Who's late for her date with her crush because she couldn't decide what to wear?

[Tori sees the time and tries to run faster. She is stopped when she is surrounded by cats who are hissing at her. They attack her. Meanwhile, at the movie theatre, JP is waiting for Tori. He is excited about this but he's afraid of being stood up. A cat walks up to him with a note. He notices the ribbon and knows it's the one that Tori wears in her hair]

JP: (Reads) We have your friend Tori. Follow us to get her back.

[JP follows the cats into the cat mansion]

JP: Tori? Are you in here?

[Cathy walks down the steps]

Cathy: Thank you for coming, JP.

JP: Oh, hey, Cathy.

Cathy: My name is...wait. You know what my name is?

JP: Yeah. I know the name of all my classmates. So, you're the one who has Tori.

Cathy: Tori. Tori. Tori. Is she all you think about?

JP: No. I think about lots of stuff. So, what will I have to do to get Tori back?

Cathy: Defeat me in a duel and I'll tell you where she is. If you lose then you and I will become boyfriend and girlfriend!

JP: Okay, so I guess all the little tricks came from you?

Cathy: How did you figure that out?

JP: I put the clues together. You know you don't have to be shy around me. I know that you're there.

Cathy: Then why won't you talk to me?

JP: I thought you would first. I'm sorry.

Cathy: Apologies can come later after I win this duel and you become my boyfriend!

JP: Alright. Let's do this.

[JP activates his duel disk]

JP: My turn. Draw. I flip summon Gagaga Gardna.

JP: I summon Trident Warrior in ATK Mode!

Trident Warrior: Level 4- 1800 ATK/ 1200 DEF

JP: I now overlay my Level 4 Gagaga Gardna and Trident Warrior. With these two monsters I build the Overlay Network! I XYZ Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Number 39: Utopia!

Cathy: That's your ace monster!

JP: My turn. Draw. This is how I will. From my hand I activate a spell: Rank-Up Magic Numeron Force! This turns Utopia into a new monster! Go Rank-Up XYZ Evolution! Come forth! Rank 6! Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray V!

Cathy: No! I'm wide open!

JP: Battle. Utopia, attack her directly! Rising Sun Star Slash!

Cathy: Ahh!

[JP walks over to Cathy to help her up. She is in tears]

Cathy: This was my only chance and I blew it.

JP: You didn't blow it, Cathy.

Cathy: What do you mean?

JP: We can start out as friends. If it becomes more then it will happen.

Cathy: (Smiles) Thank you for giving me a chance.

JP: Also, just come over and talk. You don't need any tricks.

[Cathy blushes]

JP: Now, where is Tori?

[Cathy tells JP where Tori is. JP heads to where Tori is. He sees her playing with the cats]

JP: Having fun?

Tori: Oh! I'm sorry I was late, JP. You probably don't want to hang out with me again.

JP: Nonsense. I'd never leave you. We can try this again next week. What do you say?

[Tori blushes]

Tori: I would love that.

[JP and Tori walk away. In the distance three other girls saw what went down and they weren't happy about it. One girl loved butterflies. One girl loved giant level 10 monsters. The other girl was the sister of his friend Shay. They knew that they would have to make their move soon. The next day, JP and his friends walk to class]

JP: Well, another day of school.

[Cathy walks by]

Cathy: Good morning, JP!

Bronk: Who was that?

Tori: Don't be mean, Bronk. She's in our class. Her name is...what is her name?

JP: It's Cathy. She goes by Cat. We dueled the other day.

Tori: (Angry) What? You didn't tell me!

Yuma: Did you ever find out who was playing all the tricks?

JP: I did. All she had to do was say, "Hello."

[Tori put the pieces together and grew very jealous. The gang walk into class]
