JP (Standard) POV

[I had just defeated Bakura in my duel. The bracket is very interesting now that Kaiba is gone. I was hoping to face my rival but that will not happen now. There was supposed to be more matches but the numbers didn't work out. I also heard we were supposed to have the finals at the old Kaiba Corp but instead we're doing it tonight on the blimp. I just saw Marik defeat Joey using his Egyptian God card. I honestly don't know how I can defeat something like that. I'm still trying to figure out how I beat Bakura but I'm not getting any answers. This game has gotten very dangerous. Joey was sent to the Shadow Realm and unless I beat Marik he won't wake up. So now it's all up to me]

3rd Person POV

[JP is headed to the arena but he stops at the hospital wing to see Serenity and how she's doing]

JP: You hanging in there?

Serenity: The best I can. I miss Joey so much! I can't believe something like this can happen!

[Serenity wraps her arms around JP. JP hugs her back]

JP: Don't worry, Serenity. I will beat Marik so we can get Joey back.

[Serenity continued to sob in JP's arms. JP leaves to head to the arena. He meets Marik in the hallway. They just look at each other and head to the arena where everyone is waiting. JP and Marik prepare to duel]

Marik: So, you ready to face me and be sent to the Shadow Realm? I will win this duel and take your Millenium Puzzle. You don't even need it anyway.

JP: Yugi, was my brother and if I beat you, you have to give me answers on how he's missing.

Marik: Sorry, boy, but I don't know how he disappeared. You'll just have to figure those answers out for yourself. So, will you face me with that Dark Magician deck after you've seen what I can do?

[JP trembles in fear. He hasn't faced a duelist like Marik before. He closes his eyes]

JP: (Thoughts) Those who helped me defeat Bakura, please help me once again!

[All across the four dimensions, each JP counterpart's eyes began to glow. They were becoming one once again. All four activate their duel disks]

JP (Standard): It's time to duel!

JP (Fusion): Get ready to get your game on!

JP (Syncro): It's time to rev it up!

JP: (XYZ) Time to feel the flow!

[All JP couterparts eyes begin to glow]

[Marik stands in fear. He has never seen power such as this]

Marik: What's going on? Who are you really? Where did you get this power?

[JP doesn't answer]

Marik: Fine, I'll defeat you and make you tell me!

JP: I'll do the honors. My turn. I place Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician in my Pendulum Zone! I'm taking control of this duel starting now!

Marik: What's happening? Where did you get this power?

Marik: You summoned a Level 7 monster without tributing? How are you doing this?

JP: I'm not done! I summon Flamvell Guard in ATK Mode!

Flamvell Guard: Level 1- 100 ATK/ 2000 DEF

Marik: Why would you summon a monster like that? What are you planning?

JP (Standard)/JP (Syncro) I tune my Level 1 Flamvell Guard with my Level 7 Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Clustering wishes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! I Synchro Summon! Level 8! Take flight, Stardust Dragon!

JP: My turn. Draw. I use the Pendulum Scale I've already set. Pendulum Summon! Come back to the field, Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon!

Marik: Didn't that monster go the Graveyard?

JP: Pendulum Monsters don't go to the Graveyard. They go to the Extra Deck! Turn end.

Marik: My turn. I draw. I flip summon: Revival Jam!

Revival Jam: Level 4- 1500 ATK/ 500 DEF

Marik: I place another monster facedown in DEF Mode. I end my turn with a face down.

JP: My turn. Draw. I summon Dragonpulse Magician in ATK Mode!
