3rd Person POV

[A certain boy who wears a mask hides in the shadows with his duel runner. He sees a little girl pick up a microchip and runs away with it. The boy then sees Sector Security chasing after her. He gets on his duel runner and follows them. Sector Security is led by Officer Tetsu Trudge. He tracks down a boy named Yusei Fudo. The two get into an argument]

Trudge: I'm taking you to the facility where you'll never see the light of day again.

Yusei: Well, how about I beat you in a duel and if I win you let me and my friend off the hook.

Trudge: Still as stubborn as ever I see. I can see why Jack hates you and wants you off the streets.

Yusei: You can tell Jack that I have a score to settle with him.

Trudge: Oh, he knows. Well, let's get this duel underway.

[The masked boy interrupts the conversation]

???: How about we do something different?

Trudge: Who's there?

???: A bigger prize.

[The boy with the mask steps into the light]

Trudge: You're the Blue Eyes Master! What are you doing here?

Blue Eyes Master: I'm here to take this young man's place in this duel.

Yusei: No, you're not. No one fights my battles for me! I have a score to settle with Jack!

Blue Eyes Master: So, do I. How about this, Trudge? If I win you can let this young man go along with his friend.

Trudge: What if I win?

Blue Eyes Master: You can take me to the facility instead.

Trudge: Now that's an opportunity I can't pass up. You've been competing in the underground duels and that's illegal. No one has been able to prove it, but I'll make you scream your crimes.

Yusei: Now hold on! No one is dueling for me!

Blue Eyes Master: You leave and leave Trudge to me.

Yusei: No.

Blue Eyes Master: Leave now or I'll come for you after I beat him. I'm a Psychic Duelist. I belong to the Arcadia Movement. Now do you really want to face me?

Yusei: Fine. I owe you one. Make it out so I can repay you.

Blue Eyes Master: Don't worry. You will.

[Yusei rides away on his duel runner]

Blue Eyes Master: Just you me and me, Trudge.

Trudge: Yes, I'm going to enjoy taking you down.

Blue Eyes Master: We'll see.

[Blue Eyes Master closes his eyes trying to focus. When he opens his eyes they glow for an instance and then return to normal]

Blue Eyes Master: (Thoughts) I'm not sure if I can do this.

[Blue Eyes Master then hears a voice in his head]

Voice: Don't worry. You're not alone. I'll help you.

[Blue Eyes Master is confused on where the voice was coming from, but he shakes it off and gets ready to duel. Trudge and the Blue Eyes Master prepare to duel with their duel runners]

Trudge: I'll activate the field spell. You ready to lose?

Blue Eyes Master: In your dreams. Let's rev it up!

Turn 1- Blue Eyes Master

Blue Eyes Master-8000 LP/Trudge-8000 LP

Blue Eyes Master: I'll start. My turn. I place one card face down and summon Maiden with Eyes of Blue in attack mode!

Maiden with Eyes of Blue: Level 1- 0 ATK/0 DEF

Trudge: Why would you summon a monster like that? Now you look really stupid!

Blue Eyes Master: Clearly, you've never seen me duel before. Turn end.

Turn 2- Trudge

Trudge: Get ready, outlaw. It's my turn. I draw! I summon Search Striker in ATK Mode.

Search Striker: Level 4- 1600 ATK/1200 DEF

Trudge: I end my turn with a face down.

Turn 3- Blue Eyes Master

Blue Eyes Master: Scared to attack huh?

Trudge: There's something not right with that monster.

Blue Eyes Master: My turn. Draw. I summon Shining Angel in ATK Mode.

Shining Angel: Level 4- 1400 ATK/800 DEF

Trudge: Are you trying to lose on purpose?

Blue Eyes Master: Nope. Turn end.

Turn 4- Trudge

Trudge: It's my turn. I draw. I special summon Montage Dragon from my hand! I send three monsters to the Graveyard and I can summon it!

Montage Dragon: Level 8- ??? ATK/ ??? DEF

Trudge: This card's ATK is the combined levels of the monsters I discarded times 300. My Montage Dragon gets 3300 ATK.

Montage Dragon: 0 ATK - - - 3300 ATK

Trudge: Montage Dragon attack his Shining Angel! Power Collage!

[Trudge's dragon destroys the Blue Eyes Master's angel]

Blue Eyes Master: Humph.

Blue Eyes Master-8000 LP - - - 6100 LP

Blue Eyes Master: I activate the special ability of my Shining Angel. It allows me to summon another Maiden with Eyes of Blue from my deck.

Trudge: Search Striker, attack his Maiden with Eyes of Blue! Clever Strike!

Blue Eyes Master: I activate the special ability of my Maiden with Eyes of Blue. She switches to DEF Mode and ends the Battle. I then can summon my Blue Eyes White Dragon from my hand, deck, or Graveyard!

Blue Eyes White Dragon: Level 8- 3000 ATK/2500 LP

Trudge: That's why you're the Blue Eyes Master!

Blue Eyes Master: Yes I am.

Trudge: I end my turn.

Turn 5- Blue Eyes Master

Blue Eyes Master-6100 LP/Trudge-8000 LP

Blue Eyes Master: My turn. Draw. I switch Maiden with Eyes of Blue back to ATK Mode. Turn end.

Turn 6- Trudge

Trudge: This isn't fun anymore. My turn. I draw. Montage Dragon, attack Blue Eyes White Dragon! Power Collage!

[Trudge's dragon destroys Blue Eyes Master's dragon]

Blue Eyes Master: Humph.

Blue Eyes Master-6100 LP - - - 5800 LP

Trudge: Search Striker, attack Maiden with Eyes of Blue! Clever Strike!

Blue Eyes Master: I activate the special ability of my Maiden with Eyes of Blue again. This time I special summon a Blue Eyes from my Deck.

Trudge: I end my turn.

Turn 7- Blue Eyes Master

Blue Eyes Master-5800 LP/Trudge-8000 LP

Blue Eyes Master: My turn. Draw. Time for me to take control of this duel. I switch Maiden with Eyes of Blue to ATK Mode.

Trudge: I can't touch your LP if you keep doing that!

Blue Eyes Master: That's why I'm doing it. Duh. Now I activate the Trap Card: Call of the Haunted! This allows me to bring Blue Eyes back from my Graveyard.

[Blue Eyes White Dragon reappears]

Blue Eyes Master: They won't stay that way for long! I'm fusing my two Blue Eyes together! I fusion summon! Level 10! Blue Eyes Twin Burst Dragon!

Blue Eyes Twin Burst Dragon: Level 10- 3000 ATK/2500 DEF

Trudge: What's so special about it? It's just like your other Blue Eyes.

Blue Eyes Master: This monster can attack twice! Now, Blue Eyes, attack Montage Dragon!

Trudge: It won't destroy my monster!

Blue Eyes Master: This monster can't be destroyed in battle. Also if the monster that my dragon battles is still there I can banish it!

[Blue Eyes Twin Burst Dragon attacks Montage Dragon but neither are destroyed. The Montage Dragon vanishes]

Blue Eyes Master-5800 LP - - - 5500 LP

Trudge: No! My monster!

Blue Eyes Master: Now Blue Eyes, attack Search Striker! White Lightning!

Trudge: No, you don't! I activate my Trap Card: No Entry! It switches all our monsters to DEF Mode.

Blue Eyes Master: You got lucky. Turn end.

Turn 8- Trudge

Blue Eyes Master-5500 LP/Trudge-8000 LP

Trudge: Luck had nothing to do with it. My turn. I draw. I activate the spell: Shield Crush! This destroys one DEF Mode monster on the field! Say good bye to your dragon!

Blue Eyes Master: Blue Eyes!

Trudge: I summon Gonogo in ATK Mode. Now it will attack your Maiden with Eyes of Blue! Death Flat!

Gonogo: Level 3- 1350 ATK/ 1600 DEF

Blue Eyes Master: My Maiden switches modes I'm able to bring back Blue Eyes from my deck! Seriously you would think you would've learned by now.

[Blue Eyes reappears]

Trudge: But your Maiden can't withstand a second attack! Search Striker, destroy his Maiden!

Blue Eyes Master- 5500 LP - - - 3900 LP

Trudge: You might as well give up and come quietly. I'm unharmed and you're under half of all your LP.

Blue Eyes Master: Sorry but I don't that.

Trudge: Then keep suffering. I play the spell card: Earthquake! This switches all monsters to DEF mode. I end my turn.

Turn 9- Blue Eyes Master

Blue Eyes Master-3900 LP/Trudge-8000 LP

Blue Eyes Master: My turn. Draw. I switch all my monsters to ATK Mode. I summon Alexandrite Dragon in ATK Mode!

Alexandrite Dragon: Level 4- 2000 ATK/100 DEF

Blue Eyes Master: Battle. Alexandrite Dragon, attack Gonogo!

[Blue Eyes Master's dragon destroys Trudge's monster]

Trudge: The special ability of Gonogo in the Graveyard activates! When it's destroyed it switches the attacking monster to face down DEF position.

Blue Eyes Master: That's a really dumb effect. Blue Eyes, attack Search Striker! White Lightning!

[Blue Eyes destroys Trudge's monster]

Blue Eyes Monster: Your field is now empty, but I'm not done. I tune Level 1 Maiden with Eyes of Blue with Level 8 Blue Eyes White Dragon!

Trudge: That Maiden is a tuner?

Blue Eyes Master: Yes, she is! I Syncro Summon! Level 9! Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon!

Azzure Eyes Silver Dragon: Level 9- 2500 ATK/ 3000 DEF

Trudge: You can Syncro Summon?

Blue Eyes Master: I'm not the Blue Eyes Master because I only deal with Blue Eyes. Let's see you stop it. Turn end.

Turn 10- Trudge

Trudge: That changes nothing! My turn. I draw. I place one monster face down in DEF Mode and end my turn.

Turn 11- Blue Eyes Master

Blue Eyes Master: My turn. Draw. This is the beginning of the end. I activate the special ability of my Azure Eyes Silver Dragon! Once per turn: I can special summon 1 Normal Monster from my Graveyard! Welcome back my ever-faithful friend, Blue Eyes White Dragon!

[Blue Eyes reappears]

Blue Eyes Master: I flip summon Alexandrite Dragon. Battle. Now Alexandrite Dragon will attack your face down monster!

[Alexandrite Dragon destroys the facedown which was Pursuit Chaser]

Pursuit Chaser: Level 3- 1400 ATK/600 DEF

Blue Eyes Master: Your field is empty. Now, Azure Eyes, attack Trudge directly!

Trudge: Ahh!

Trudge-8000 LP - - - 5500 LP

Blue Eyes Master: Now it's your turn, Blue Eyes! White Lightning!

Trudge: Ahh!

Trudge-5500 LP - - - 2500 LP

Blue Eyes Master: That's all for now. I'll finish you next turn! Let's see you come back from that. You have no cards in your hand. Better make that draw count! Turn end.

Turn 12- Trudge

Blue Eyes Master-3900 LP/Trudge-2500 LP

Trudge: I can't lose! I won't lose to Satellite Trash! My turn. I draw! This is all I can do. I place one monster face down in DEF Mode and end my turn.

Turn 13- Blue Eyes Master

Blue Eyes Master-3900 LP/Trudge-2500 LP

Blue Eye Master: My turn. Draw. This is the end, Trudge. I activate the special ability of my Azure Eyes Silver Dragon to bring back another Blue Eyes!

[Trudge stares in horror]

Blue Eyes Master: It's over, Trudge. Battle. Alexandrite Dragon, attack his face down!

[Alexandrite Dragon destroys the face down monster which was Heroic Challenger- Night Watchman]

Heroic Challenger- Night Watchman: Level 4- 1200 ATK/300 DEF

Blue Eyes Master: Time to end this. Blue Eyes, attack Trudge directly and end this duel! White Lightning!

Trudge: Ahh!

Trudge-2500 LP - - - 0 LP

Winner: Blue Eyes Master

[The two duelists stop on their duel runners]

Blue Eyes Master: Now hold up your end of the bargain, Trudge.

Trudge: Fine I will. If I ever get another chance to put you away I will.

Blue Eyes Master: If it means anything, I know what you do is unfair, but I must say you do a very good job of it.

Trudge: Is that supposed to be an insult?

[Blue Eyes Master says nothing and rides away. He sees a woman standing on the side of the street. He instantly recognizes her. She was the Black Rose Witch. She wore a mask]

Blue Eyes Master: You came to track me down?

Black Rose Witch: Sayer wants to know where you've been.

Blue Eyes Master: Just cleaning up the streets of New Domino City.

Black Rose Witch: Funny. I thought I saw you and Trudge get into a duel.

Blue Eyes Master: You saw it all? I don't know how since we we're riding the whole time unless we were going in circles.

Black Rose Witch: I did. You almost lost.

Blue Eyes Master: I had it under control.

Black Rose Witch: It's not safe to do that. What if he had a card that you weren't expecting. If you had lost the Arcadia Movement would have lost its best duelist.

Blue Eyes Master: I thought Sayer holds that title.

Black Rose Witch: Everyone knows you beat him before though he will never admit.

[Silence]

Black Rose Witch: Just be more careful, okay? You're someone I trust. Maybe enough to show you what's under my mask.

Blue Eyes Master: I feel the same way about you.

[Black Rose Witch kisses the cheek of the mask of Blue Eyes Master. She starts to walk away. She then turns]

Black Rose Witch: Promise me you'll be more careful.

Blue Eyes Master: I promise.

[Black Rose Witch walks away. Blue Eyes Master rides away. He stops in front of run down house. He takes his mask off to reveal the face of a boy who looks a like a boy from of the screens. He is greeted by his two best friends: Yugo and Rin. Rin runs to him and hugs him. Nearly knocking him down]

Rin: JP, where have you been? I heard the sirens and I thought you had been caught.

JP: I did run into Sector Security, but I took care of it.

[Rin slaps JP]

Rin: What have I told you about being reckless?

JP: Rin, I'm fine.

Rin: You've already been sent to the facility once. What if you don't escape again?

[JP's arm starts to shake. He puts his duel runner in the garage and walks away to his room]

Yugo: Not cool, Rin. You know what he went through when he was there.

Rin: I know. I just really care about his safety.

Yugo: Then why don't you ask each other out already?

Rin: We don't want to lose what we have.

Yugo: Well, you better go talk to him.

Rin: Will he forgive me?

Yugo: He always does.

[Rin stands at JP's doorway]

Rin: I'm sorry for what I said.

JP: Don't be. I know you just care about my safety.

[JP and Rin hug each other and lie down on the bed. He cries while she tries to calm him down]

Rin: It's going to be okay, JP. I won't let anyone hurt you again.

Rin POV

Rin: (Thoughts) I can't lose you again, JP.

JP POV

JP: (Thoughts) I won't let anyone hurt you either, Rin.

[Yugo walks by the room]

Yugo: Ask each other out already!

[JP and Rin drift off to sleep. Outside the house, a certain boy stands. His duel disk glows and he disappears. Meanwhile, Yusei is speaking with his friends on how he got away]

Yusei: I was helped by the Blue Eyes Master. He says he also has a score to settle with Jack. I don't think this will be the last time we see him. I think I found a new friend.
