3rd Person POV

[JP is walking with all of his friends down a street. They are having lots of fun celebrating Yuya's victory over the Sledgehammer. Zuzu is walking close to JP and holding his hand. She said it makes her feel safer than just standing beside him. A boy named Sylvio walks over]

Sylvio: My oh my. It's the great Yuya himself!

Yuya: Who are you?

Sylvio: My name is Sylvio Sawatari. I'm a huge fan. I was hoping to duel you today to witness the pendulum summoning first hand.

Yuya: That's fine.

Sylvio: Just come over to the Leo Institute and we'll do it!

[JP knew that this was a trap so he went with his friends. Just the like that, the trap happened. Yuya let Sylvio's friends "see" his cards but they then stole them and gave them to Sylvio]

Sylvio: Seriously. Who did you not see that coming? That was too easy.

Yuya: Give back my Pendulum Cards.

Sylvio: Sorry but if you want them back then you'll have to beat me in a duel!

Yuya: I can't win without my Pendulum Cards!

Sylvio: Then is looks like you aren't getting them back.

[JP the steps forward]

JP: Give them back, Sylvio.

Sylvio: What are you going to do about it, Mr. I don't know who you are?

JP: I'll defeat you in a duel and then get them back.

Sylvio: You won't but I want to see you try!

[Sylvio actives the duel field. Sylvio activates his duel disk. JP activates his as well]

JP: Let the entertainment begin!

JP/Sylvio: Duel!

Turn 1-JP

JP: I'll start. My turn. I place one card face down. I now place Odd Eyes in my Pendulum Zone. Turn end. The special ability of my Odd Eyes in my Pendulum Zone activates! By sending it to the Extra Deck, I can add Timegazer Magician to my hand.

Zuzu: He has Pendulum Monsters too?

Yuya: I thought I was the only one who did!

Turn 2-Sylvio

Sylvio: Hmph. Keep dueling like that then this will be over before you know it! My turn. I draw! I place two cards face down. I summon Yosenju Kama 2 in ATK Mode!

Yosenju Kama 2: Level 4- 1800 ATK/ 200 DEF

Sylvio: Now my monster will attack you directly!

JP: Trap card, open: Mirror Force! Now your monster is destroyed!

Sylvio: No! Urk. I end my turn.

Turn 3-JP

JP-8000 LP/Sylvio-8000 LP

JP: My turn. Draw. I use Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician to set the Pendulum Scale! I'm taking control of this duel starting now!

Zuzu: He's pendulum summoning!

Yuya: I thought I was the only one! Also I have the same cards!

JP: I can now summon monsters from Levels 2 to 7 all at the same time! Swing far, Pendulum! Carve the Arc of Victory! My monsters are ready to swing into action! Welcome back, Odd Eyes! Welcome to the duel, Dragonpulse Magician!

Sylvio: Uh oh.

JP: Battle. When I have these two monsters in my Pendulum Zone and a Pendulum monster battles, you can't activate any spell or trap cards! Dragonpulse Magician, attack him directly!

Sylvio: Ahh!

Sylvio: Ahh!

Sylvio: I'll show you who's better! My turn! I draw! I place two cards face down. I summon Yosenju Shinchu L in ATK Mode.

Yosenju Shinchu L: Scale 3: Level 4- 0 ATK/ 2100 DEF

Sylivo: When this monster is summoned in ATK Mode. It switches to DEF Mode!

Sylvio: I now activate my spell card: Card of Demise. This card allows me to draw three cards. For the rest of turn I take no damage. At the end of my turn, however, I must discard my entire hand. Turn end. I empty my entire hand.

Turn 5-JP

JP-8000 LP/Sylvio-3700 LP

JP: My turn. Draw. From my hand I activate a spell: Twin Twisters. I discard a card from my hand and then I can destroy two of your face downs!

Sylvio: Too bad! I activate my trap: Yosenjus' Secret Move! When a spell or trap card is activate and I control at least on Yosenju card and all other monsters on my field are Yosenju, I can destroy your trap!

JP: Hmph.

Sylvio: Nice try.

JP: Battle. Odd Eyes, attack and destroy his DEF Monster. Spiral Flame Strike!

Sylvio: Urk.

JP: Dragonpulse Magician, attack him directly!

Sylvio: Ahh!

JP: Turn end.

Turn 6-Sylvio

Sylvio: I will not lose to you! My turn. I draw! I activate my spell: Card of Demise. Like before I draw until I have three cards then at the end of my turn, discard the rest. I place one monster face down in DEF Mode and end my turn.

Turn 7-JP

JP-8000 LP/Sylvio-1900 LP

JP: This is the end. My turn. Draw. I summon Goblinbergh in ATK Mode.

Goblinbergh: Level 4- 1400 ATK/ 0 DEF

JP: Its special ability allows me to summon Junk Synchron from my hand.

Junk Synchron: Level 3- 1300 ATK/ 500 DEF

Sylvio: Why did you summon two weak monsters?

JP: Well, Junk Synchron is a tuner monster!

Yuya: Another summoning technique?

JP: I tune my Level 3 Junk Synchron with my Level 4 Goblinbergh. Gathering anger becomes an entranced warrior born from a brutal god. Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon! Howl, Junk Berserker!

Junk Berserker: Level 7- 2700 ATK/ 1800 DEF

JP: Battle. Junk Berserker, attack his face down! When this monster attacks a monster in DEF Mode, it automatically destroys it!

Sylvio: No! Now you'll use my dragon to finish me off!

JP: No.

Sylvio: What?

JP: I want to teach you a lesson. You don't mess with my friends. All of my monsters will attack this turn.

Sylvio: What?

JP: Just watch. Dragonpulse Magician, attack him directly!

Sylvio: Ahh!

Sylvio-1900 LP - - - 100 LP

JP: Now you only have 100 LP left. I could've finished you off quickly but I wanted to get another 2500 ATK inflicted on you.

Zuzu: I've never seen this side of JP before.

Yuya: I know! It's scary! Dueling should be fun and making people smile!

JP: Sorry, Yuya, but that isn't always the case. Odd Eyes, attack him directly and end this duel! Spiral Flame Strike!

Sylvio: Ahh!

Sylvio-100 LP - - - 0 LP

[Sylvio falls down hard. The rest of the bullies drop Yuya's Pendulum Cards and then run away with Sylvio. The rest of gang watch JP leave. A boy with blue hair named Sora appears. He asks Yuya to be his teacher! This shocks everyone]
