While moment of happiness and hope breathed in everyones heart hearing doctor.Varna was expecting.Something they were waiting to hear from long deep in their hearts.They would have celebrated this joy like anything.But situation was different now.Why it had to be.As they watched her from outside lifeless on that bed.With drips attached.All they wished was to see her back to them healthy.Back to life.

Doctor announced next few hours are critical for her as she was pregnant.It was difficult to deal with her case.Vivaan didnt hear word more and walked inside room.Despite of doctors and staff refusing him to do so.It was when he was allowed being requested by his family.All watched him with pain in heart.He sat quietly.Holding Varna's hand and shut his eyes.He recalled the moments when she yearned to have their baby.Her pain and struggle to feel motherhood.His wish to hold their baby.A tear dropped from his eyes.In this moment he just wished to have her.Stare at him the way she used to.Taunt him or get angry at him.Argue with him get irritated with him.He wanted his Varna back.

V-"You cant cheat me.Like this.You promised.You will be with me."

He was speaking in barely audible tone.Beep of machines were heard in room and his breath.He felt his hands numb and cold.He wanted her to open her eyes wake up.

V-"Cant you hear me.Fight with me.Get angry with me.You cant get away with this.You hear me?You hear me. Varna Shetty?I wont let you do this to me."

He bent down towards her and his face was covered with tears.He bit his lips and kissed his forehead.

V-"You have to come back Varna.You have to.For us.For Pranu.For our.Baby.You have to."

Saying this he just got up wiping his tears and didnt looked back at her.Leaving from room.All stared at her.Shivani wanted to go being stopped by Vikram.

Vik-"Let him be alone for some time.He needs that."

You kept it in your heart all this while..why I couldnt hear you..You suffered yet I gave up..

It was raining as Vivaan sat outside hospital premises.Seeing rain pouring down as if it depicted state of her heart and mind.He shut his eyes.It was not easy.It was hard surviving.These hours felt like years.He was still shivering.Breathing slowly he didnt knew what to think.How to think or what to do next.

All were sent home as they have been there for long time.Reyaansh stayed back considering Vivaan wont leave.He didnt speak word to anyone seeing his mother breaking down.Before leaving.He felt tired of life.Why was life being so harsh on him.When he lost Ramya he didnt knew how to survive.Varna came as ray of hope in his life.He didnt knew one can love so madly and fiercely.That every time fear of losing her would invade him he would lose himself.Todya his fear was on verge of becoming true.He wouldnt let that happen.He wouldnt let life take away his happiness this time.

Reyaansh watched his brother and he wished if he could heal his pain somehow.But he couldnt and he knew that.He just wished every minute from now would pass soon.Waiting for ray of hope.

"Will you stop doing that Mr Vivaan Reddy?Your attempts wont be succesfull so stop trying sneaking in here.Like a thief."

V-"Excuse me?This is my room.I have right to roam around anywhere and.Look into anything so."

He tried to have look at her dear diary.Where she would lock deepest secrets of her heart.Like every time she has locked it hiding from him successfully.Smirking at him as he stood there.

Var-"There is something called personal place and privacy.You cant invade into that."

She tried to leave from there but he held her hand.

V-"Privacy from your husband?Aha.Why?What kind of secrets do you write there.Ahem."

Varna scrunched her nose and giving him nasty look tried to run.But he pulled her towards him.

Var-"Leave me.Thats the only thing which has been with me.From my darkest time till when I came to know happiness.Its mine."

V-"And you are mine.I want to know every beat of your heart.I deserve that."

Varna smiled at him cupping his cheeks as they hugged.He frowned soon hearing her whisper close to his ear.

Var-"Still you are not getting to read that."

Before he could realize she was gone little away showing him tongue.He smirked running after her in room.As they were running around like kids.One throwing pillows something or other.Finally he caught her as her back hit wall.Both breathing heavily.She shut her eyes as he pushed his body towards her.Kept doing that knowing well how she will be pushed to edge and then give in.

V-"Hmm.Still would mess with me?Wifey."

Var-"Vivaan.You are.Mean."

V-"Yes Iam.Give me that.I will be good boy."

She opened her eyes and looked into his deep ones.As his fingers touched her cheek caressing there.Her eyes looked cold.

Var-"You will get to read that only.When I will be gone.Do what pleases your heart then."

As if her words stopped his breath for second.He caught her wrist tightly giving her pain.She didnt knew why it came out from her mouth or just randomly.But it hit him hard.His eyes had fear and anger.Pulling her closer to him he seethed in anger.

V-"Never dare to say this.Again.To me.You heard that?"

She was being crushed by him tightly in a hug.Her lips break into smile and eyes watered up.

It was passed midnight and Vivaan shifted uncomfortably in small chair.That was kept for visitors outside emergency.Though Reyaansh insisted on getting cabin for them for night but no one could move him there.His neck and back hurt badly and dream he just had now.Made it more restless for him.As he opened eyes and could hear faint voices.Reyaansh was talking with doctor.Nurses were rushing inside and out.Alarming him he just got up.Not even fixing himself.Unable to walk properly.Reyaansh saw him as he faced doctor in dishieveled state.

V-"How is she?"

Doctor looked down and next moment they entered room hearing beep of machines getting fast.His heartbeats increased as he stared at her.Doctors trying to save her.She was breathing heavily.Struggling for single breathe.He was about to stumble being held by Reyaansh.He pushed him and went to her.

D-"We tried our best but.Sorry.Shes not responding to treatment.Her condition deteriorated further.I.Dont think we have enough time."

Doctor tried to make him understand but Vivaan was no way listening to anyone.He frowned and pushed doctors hand from his back.Reyaansh didnt wait any longer and informed family when doctors told him about Varnas condition.All reached hospital.Vikram Shivani Lata and Prakash saw Varna in vulnerable state.Shivani broke down unable to stop tears with Pranush sleeping in her lap.Lata held her from behind.Vikram gave support to Prakash who was numb.Nandini had Ansh with her and she broke down into tears being held by her husband.The whole family felt they were living same disastrous moment again.Which passed taking away their happiness.Then it was Ramya.Now varna was seen fighting for her life.Shivani couldnt see that and went out of room with Pranush.

"In this life time we werent enough..Just want another one.."

As beeps of machines alerted slowly going down.Doctors informed Varna was collapsing.Prakash cried seeing his daughter another time lifeless.He went out of room in shock unable to fear consequence.Vikram went after him.All came out leaving Vivaan as doctors announced they could do nothing now.

Vivaan saw his life struggling.Threshold of death and he held on to her hand strongly.He couldnt see her in pain.Unable to breathe.To live.He touched her head and kissed her there.Her breathes started becoming slow.He shut his eyes and remembered moments they shared.Their first meeting.Heated arguments.His strong dislike for her.Every time he hurt her.How she struggled to distance herself from him.They professed love for each other.The moments which belonged to them.All that he could see and then as if something strike him.He opened his eyes.Without wasting second he rushed out of room.

All were shocked seeing him there and what he did next.Found his mother clinging to Pranush and crying.He didnt say word and snatched him from her startling everyone.All tried to stop him.But he made way inside room.

V-"She once gave life to you.By her mere touch you got healed.I know.She.Cant leave you.She wont.Get her back to life."

Pranush unaware of harsh fate and reality.Was sleeping and little did he knew what was going away from him.He was waiting to be loved by his mother again.Feel her touch.Vivaan placed him beside Varna who was sinking now.Doctors entered and saw machines stopped next moment.

D-"Mr Vivaan.We are sorry.She is."

Vivaan stumbled back seeing his life collapsing.She wasnt breathing anymore.Her heartbeat stopped.Time stood still.She was gone.Leaving him and leaving them incomplete.
