Night was looking.Darker than any other time.Rain noises came.Inside windows.Of room.Vivaan lay on his bed.Awake with eyes opened.Staring at somewhere lost.Weeks passed for Ramya.Have gone.He couldnt believe she wasnt with him.He shut his eyes.Feeling bed empty beside him.Guy cannot cry.It pents up inside him.Vivaan was going through same.From day he had to face.First Ramya's going.Pranush was with someone else.He couldnt keep.Ramya's last symbol with him.It ached him.

Vivaan's eyes moistened.He touched Ramya's hair brush.His eyes went to.Her ring.She wont ever wear that.He took it.Clasped inside his palms.He couldnt take anymore.Break down on floor.Busting in tears.Memories gushed in.From when he met her.This room wont let him.Forget her ever.He could hear her voice.Her giggles and cries.her touches never left her.He went to bed.Hugged her favorite pillow.Her best friends.Were brought in.After wedding.All her soft toys.Vivaan cried.Uncontrollably.

V-"Not easy to forget you Ramya.Why did you leave me.

Gave so much to remember.My life.Feels worthless."

Another morning in house.With gloomy faces.All were doing breakfast.Satya's health was not doing well.Reyansh and Lata.Were busy looking after him.Went for check up.To hospital.Nandini stayed back.help Shivani to look after house.Shivani looked disturbed.Vivaan came to sit on chair.She saw how he have gone.To different person.His face and eyes showed.Didnt sleep for days.Nandini too saw that.

Shivani shut her eyes.Getting no reply from him.He has few sips from juice.Plate untouched.He has become.This with everyone.Even Reyansh couldnt get him.Talk to him openly.Vivaan got up.About to leave when heard Shivani's voice.

Dont ruin yourself."

V-"Have been ruined.Already Mom.

Sh-"Dont we mean.Anything to you.Have family.

Life is not lived.Like this son.Have to move on.From every pain.

What about your son.He needs you."

Shivani was shocked.See smirk from Vivaan.Way he spoke showed.He was frustrated and angry.Over decision.Of keeping Pranush on that house.Shivani was confused.If her decision worsened.Things for her son.She sat down on chair.Nandini touched her shoulder.Nandini thought over same.She has seen Vivaan sufferring.Hard after Ramya left.Now only Pranush could get him.Back in track.

N-"I think.We should get Pranush back.His health is fine too.

Anna will smile.Again once he gets.Him back.In life.He wont feel.Much Ramya's presence."

Prakash was done talking.With someone on phone.Wasnt easy for any of them.Forget dreadful loss.Of their life.One has to move on.For himself and others.Karuna served him tea.They looked at decorations.Done in house.All preparations were left incomplete.Wedding was few days away.Now everything looked undecided.In strange force of sadness.Didnt knew what to do.What disturbed them.More was Varna's closeness.With Ramya's baby.As aunt she have right give him love.She helped him.His health making him better too.Prakash and Karuna both understood.Vivaan's side too.Baby will be happy.With his father and others.In family.

Same evening Vivaan didnt come.Shivani and others.Paid visit.When it was time to leave.Nandini held Pranush.He was sleeping.Varna stood like statue in her room.She watched Pranush leaving.With his family.Cars left porch she felt.Something was taken out from.Her heart and it ached.Her madly.She sobbed uncontrollably.Heard a voice.Shakthi sat beside her on floor.

Shakthi touched her hands.Kissing them.Looked she didnt have affect.By anything or anyone.She chose to sit like that.Shakthi patted her head.Later he stayed for some time.Making Varna have dinner.Forcefully and sit with her.Till she was sleeping.He sat for while.With Prakash and Karuna.They felt Shakthi.Was someone they could trust.Varna with and content.He was there for her.

Vivaan havent gone to office.Like usual but there was change.In him seen by everyone.Shivani felt some satisfied.Seeing her son.In better state.He has been busy.With Pranush since they got him.Back last evening.From then he didnt stop for once.Making him eat and sleep.Playing with him.H survived.On fatherhood it looked to them.She wiped tear.from her eye.Felt Vikram's hands on her shoulder.

Another week has passed.Pranush was handled by everyone.In some way or other.Vivaan started going office.Half day and returned home.Shivani couldnt manage baby alone.Other side Shakthi gave some relief.To Varna paying visits on her house.Almost everyday.He used to make her.Talk and have meals.Give her medicines.Her fever wasnt going.Havent told anyone about her health.Might get them worried more.Prakash looked tensed.It was two days.Since Shakthi didnt come.He made calls if he cant come.Karuna was with Varna in her room.

Karuna was feeding Varna.Her face was pale.Fever going high.She was living robotic life.Only Shakthi kept her.Active by trying to make her smile.Times and keep her alive.By his talks.She didnt knew.Why he missed on coming.He needed life too.She has seen him running for her.She felt burden on him.Who couldnt do anything.In return.But she decided she will.Talk with him today.But he wasnt there.Heard some chaos downstairs.Karuna asked her to rest.She went down.

Varna came down after while.Find her father sitting.Blank and Karuna shedding tears.Shock was written their faces.She could hardly walk.No strength on her body.She went to them.They were looking at faces.Didnt knew how to tell Varna.What just happened.Karuna tried taking her away.She was adamant.Standing and looking at her father.She forced both of them.Asking for truth.

V-"Aththai what happened.You tell me.

Who came.Why do you both.Look tensed.Shakthi didnt come today also."

K-"Varna you rest first.Will tell you later."

V-"I dont need rest.Tell me."

She caught Karuna.Asking her for truth repeatedly.Prakash saw his daughter.He felt ill fated.Catching his head.He couldnt stop his tears.Looking at Varna.His voice was slow.Reached Varna's ears.Made her stand still.About to lose balance.When he caught her.

P-"Shakthi's brother came.Said they.Are calling off this alliance.

With you.Wedding wont happen."

Varna stumbled on her steps.She felt blank.before fainting in Prakash's arms.Doctor was called.Getting her checked.Prakash paced outside room.Not thinking what to do.They were moved by sudden.Shock and why did they break alliance.Shakthi's brother didnt give any reason.He said he cant make.Varna his brother's wife.But something was eating.Prakash from inside.He heard car.Thought it was Shakthi.But Vikram and Shivani came.After getting news about Varna.

After two days Varna stood outside Shakthi's house.She didnt think this time.She waited for Shakthi.He didnt come.She wanted answers.He wasnt picking her calls too.She rang doorbell.His sister in law opened door.She was shocked.Find Varna there.Her face looked guilty.Varna got inside.Asking about Shakthi she got to know.He went to their native village.For some important work.Network issues couldnt attend calls.

V-"Im not here.Fight with you.Shakthi takes you both.As parents.

Varna walked on road.Aimlessly till she reached some place.She sat on bench.Of park and she gripped.On files she carried.Within some time.She saw her ring.On finger and rememberes her engagement.Meeting Shakthi and memories with him.She forgot she cant expect.Ray of light in her life.She was cursed.How can she live normal life.She caught her head.Cried shouting.She fell down.Looking at her medical reports.Shakthi had with him.She knew now.Reason his family denied for marriage.Who would want son.Get married to girl.Who had less chances.Of conceiving baby.She had complications.Which Shakthi hiding from her.Now she understood.Why kept her in hospital.For more tests.
