Description:

Wrenheart doesn't believe that the mysterious newcomer is the supposedly immortal founder of her Clan. It just seems awfully convenient that he happened to return to the Clan just when his friend were in trouble to request help. Plus, she can't help but feel that the dream she'd had the night before his arrival, of a fire devouring her Clan, was nothing less than a vision. But how can she expose the faker while surrounded by those who'd throw her out for denouncing their faith?

Goosestep can't believe this day has finally come. Their founder, the one who would save them in a time of great need, had come just when there were hints of a conflict brewing between them and their rival Clans. But instead of staying, he wants them to leave to fight for him. But surely he's the founder...he knows everything about their history! Goosestep must decide whether faith or fear will rule their life.

Timberbelly doesn't know what he's doing. He knows quite well that the so called founder is a fake-- after all, he's the one that told the passing rogue about their history, right down to the prophecized reappearance of their founder. But now that the sane rogue has entered, Timberbelly fears for his life. Will he speak the truth, or keep his jaws tight in fear?

Together or separate, these three cats must decide how-- or if-- to out the imposter who calls himself their savior. Because what kind of savior would lead them to their deaths?

And most importantly, they must prove that their foe is not immortal, merely flesh and blood.

Main Characters:

Wrenheart: pessimistic, semi-introverted she-cat with controversial opinions she never really talks about. Calculating. She-cat. Description up to you.
Goosestep: extreme believer, extroverted, opinions are fairly obvious. Open, slightly naive. Gender and description up to you.
Timberbelly: doesn't believe that the imposter is the founder, obviously. Probably the most open and trusting cat ever. Tends to ramble. Sweet but easily intimidated. Big teddy bear basically. Tom. Description up to you.
Hickory/"Cascadestar": smart, desperate, manipulative. Cares deeply for his/her family that is in danger back home and will do whatever it takes to get then back. Gender and description up to you.
Yellowstar: official leader of CascadeClan. Trusts Hickory utterly. Gender and description up to you.

Formatting:

Either short story or normal formatting would work, but I'd reccomebt normal formatting. POV switches between Wrenheart, Goosestep and Timberbelly.
