Description:

Flintcloud is not exactly what you'd call an optimist.

His Clanmates would swear that he lived purely to make them all miserable, and he'd gotten his suffix from the cloud of gloom he seemed to year like a second fur.

But they hadn't seen what he had.

The deputy, the leader and his sister the medicine cat were all destined to die on the night of a full moon at a gathering. He knows this because StarClan sent him a dream early in his apprenticeship warning him, as if telling him to prevent it.

But how can he, one cat with no noteworthy talents, change fate itself?

Main Characters:

Flintcloud: extremely gloomy, pessimistic tom. Insecure. Little to no self esteem. Prickly. Haunted by the full moon vision. Description up to you.
Yewstar: leader. Generally stressed, irritable leader who tries to be cheerful despite the stress. Gender and description up to you.
Newtflame: deputy. Fun, fairly optimistic cat who is great at managing cats. Butts heads with Flintcloud due to his "bad attitude" Gender and description up to you.
Smokebreeze: Flintcloud's sister. Kind, but fiery. Is irritated by Flintcloud's "hovering" and overprotectiveness. She-cat. Description up to you.
Sycamorepaw: extreme optimist, cheerful, believes cats easily. Lil cinnamon roll. Flintcloud's apprentice. Flintcloud eventually confides his vision to him/her. Gender and description up to you.

Formatting:

Either short story or normal story would work well for this book. POV is either strictly Flintcloud or switches between Flintcloud and Sycamorepaw.
