Kayla's loved volleyball since she saw the court and could hear the rush of the crowds. She remembers the day where she saw her favourite player walking around, practically covered in stars from head to toe.

She wanted nothing more than to be like it.

Stars mean everything, they're a symbol of talent or an achieved skill in whatever field you chose. But for Kayla, they mean more than that. Every star she earns gets her closer and closer to her goal of being the number one volleyball player.

But when she enters a volleyball training camp with a few friends, she's struck with the realization that she's done nothing yet, not compared to others her age.

It's all because of that stupid girl, Lucy. Kayla loathed her, a fierce obstacle in her way. She'll do anything to beat Lucy.
