Maia Morgans was always bullied growing up because of her large glasses, a clunky feature that has been her main problem since third grade.

One day, she decided to run into a forest away from the rest of her classmates after a particularly brutal teasing session. There, she meets him. Cymer the cyborg, is amazed at Maia. The two grow to be close friends, but when she realizes the dark past of Cymer is catching up quickly, they have to depend on each other to survive.
