"Richard...we need to talk." Slade said.

"What?" Richard was surprised. 

"I just wanted to say that no one expects you to go dating or anything." Slade said.

"What?" Robin was confused. 

"I'm just saying, that after what has happened, no one expects you to go dating or anything." Slade said.

"I know...why are you-OH MY GOSH! Are you trying to give me...the Talk?" Robin asked. 

"No! I was just trying to say...take your time when dating." Slade said.

"I know. Slade, you don't have to tell me this, you know that right?" Richard asked.

"Yeah, I know. I...you know." Slade said.

"No, I don't know." Richard pressed.

"I just...don't want...you to...be hurt." Slade said awkwardly. 

Richard stopped.

"D-Did you just say...that you...care about me?" Richard asked in disbelief. 

"No. I just don't want you crying in my bed." Slade huffed and looked the other way.

Richard smiled, "I care about you too."

He started walking towards the coffee shop.

Richard and Slade worked in a comfortable silence the rest of the day.

Somehow, a calm and peace came over the both of them.

But you know what they say, it's the calm before the storm.

Jinx was still mad that she didn't have her answers.

That was, until the Heads called her down to the office.

"Jinx. We have a list of people that we need here." Amanda said.

"And once you're done collecting them, you need to stay here." Amanda added. 

Jinx nodded and took the list.

She had some people she had to get. 

I view them as a father and son relationship. 

Also, this is short, but I need an introduction to the next chapter, but I didn't know how to transition it from that last chapter.
