Xenophanes' POV Location: Team Planet's Treehouse

I woke up and was tired but I know that my son now remembers who he is and I think I should change my form to something more me.

Xenophanes: Well, first things first, new form, and then maybe make breakfast. *Glows a blue aura*

Xenophanes: Much better, now to make breakfast. *Mentally* I know that the girls are in for a shock when they see me.

Lilac's POV

I was waking up and started getting ready for today, I had put on my clothes, I noticed Xeno was missing but thought nothing of it, and I made my way to the kids' room to wake them up but when I got there and opened the door seeing it was empty and I remembered where they were.

Lilac: *Mentally* Oh right, I forgot. They're at Beacon *Sighs* it's been a few weeks since I've seen his face.

I was walking downstairs when I heard someone in the kitchen but I stopped seeing a picture of me, Xeno, Carol, Milla, Neera, Tails, Sally, Yuri, Tara, and (Y/n) at the water park...Smiling.

Lilac: *Grabs the picture and smiles* That was the happiest time we had as a big family.

???: I agree with you Lilac, that was the happiest time we had even when (Y/n) was afraid of water.

I turn around to see...

Lilac: *Shocked* Sonic?!?!

Sonic?: Woah, Lilac calm down. It's me Xeno.

I look at Sonic closely and noticed he was Xeno but how is Xeno in this form?

Lilac: Xeno, how are you in this form?

Xeno: I think it's time for me to come clean. *Sighs* My real name is Sonic The Hedgehog and (Y/n) is my son and Tails is his Uncle.

Lilac:...What?!?!

Xeno: Look, I know it's a lot to take in but (Y/n) was sent here to protect him from getting killed on Mobius. But anyways want to eat? I made breakfast.

I walked to the kitchen and sat on a chair to eat breakfast with Xeno or I guess Sonic now.

Carol's POV

I woke up after a few minutes because I smelled eggs. I looked around and noticed that Xeno and Lilac were gone so I thought they were in the kitchen. I got out of bed and started to get dressed, I walked downstairs and saw Lilac with...

Carol: *Shocked* SONIC?!?!

Sonic?: And that's the second time. *Sighs* It's me Carol, Xenophanes in my true form.

Lilac: Believe me,  I was shocked too. Anyways, are you the only one awake, or are Milla and Neera awake as well?

Carol: No it's just me. *Takes a seat on the kitchen table* So, it's been really quiet lately since Yuri, Tails, Sally, Tara, and (Y/n) left for Beacon, huh?

Xeno: How can I? Ever since my son unlocked his semblance and I grew worried because I had an alter ego as well. And he almost killed all of you.

Lilac: Xeno, I'm sure (Y/n) can take care of himself and it's best to forget that day. *Sighs* How about you and I go walk around Shang Tu to relax ok?

I wanted to ask what Xeno meant about his son but I figured out that (Y/n) was Xeno's son and felt bad for him.

Carol: *Mentally* Damn, Xeno and (Y/n) are related but at least they're together now when Lilac adopted (Y/n). *Smiles

Xeno: *Sighs* You're right Lilac, we should walk around the city and maybe have some time for ourselves. *Looks at Carol* Well, I guess you're right Carol, I worry too much, and I guess I should let my son handle things his way.

Carol: *Smiles* No problem Xeno, what are friends for? *Smirks at Lilac and Xeno* If you really want to thank me Xeno, how about you and Lilac let Tara go on a date with (Y/n) and be boyfriend and girlfriend?

Xeno: Oh my god Carol, now you're dragging ME into this mess?

Lilac: I don't want Xeno being dragged into this but it is fair since he is (Y/n)'s father, but why do you, Neera, and Milla keep on asking me this?

Carol: Well, it's because our daughters like him and he does too but he doesn't know to tell them. And I think Tara and (Y/n) would make a great couple.

??? #2: Don't you mean Yuri?

??? #3: I think Sally and (Y/n) could make the cutest couple!

I turn around to see both Milla and Neera were awake and walking to the table I was sitting at.

Neera: *Looks at Lilac and Xeno* So Xeno and Lilac, which one of our daughters do you think would be good for (Y/n) to date?

Milla: Yeah, which one do you think is the best?

Xeno: Oh come on! Don't drag me into my son's love life, I mean sure (Y/n) does have feelings for Tara, Sally, and Yuri. But don't drag me into it! *Runs out of the Treehouse and shouts* LET'S GO LILAC!!!

[Xeno's running style]

Lilac didn't say anything and followed Xeno outside running very fast and this made me laugh my ass off, I turned to see both Milla and Neera laughing as well.

Milla: *Laughing* I guess this means, both Xeno and Lilac will have to think about it.

Neera: I got to say, I feel really bad dragging Xeno into this but-.

Carol: Well, that just means that Xeno will be together with Lilac and she'll be (Y/n)'s stepmother and they will allow (Y/n) to date our girls. But I didn't think the same thing we do for Lilac to help forget her troubles would also help Xeno.

It's true whenever Lilac feels sad, worried, or even angry we would just talk about our daughters and (Y/n) being a great couple...Which is also true.

Lilac's POV Location: Shang Tu

Xeno and I finally got away from them, they would always talk about this and now Xeno is involved in it and it is taking a toll on me.

Lilac: *Mentally* Why do they always keep talking about this and why is Xeno getting involved is this just because he is (Y/n)'s father? *Sighs and speaks out loud* Xeno, what can we do? *Smiles*

Xeno: We could walk around just to relax.

As Xeno and I walked were walking Shang Tu, we heard someone.

Xeno and I looked at a little girl and her father having fun on the swing set reminding me of (Y/n)'s fake smile and a smile of joy.

Flashback over Five years ago

I was taking (Y/n) to the park with Xeno, Tails, and me since Carol, Milla, and Neera took the girls to watch [(A/n): Insert movie here.], at first, I asked them if they can take (Y/n) with them but he told them "I would rather stay here where it's safer than out there", I knew he had a bad no horrible experience with whoever he had as his family but I want to show and teach him that are good things in the world than the bad. While we were walking, Tails noticed (Y/n) looking at the chili dog stand near the park.

Tails: Sonic, do you want a chili dog?

(Y/n): *Nervous tone* N-no Tails, I-I'm f-fine.

I stopped walking and bent to (Y/n)'s level so we could make eye contact.

Lilac: (Y/n), if you're hungry you can tell me. *Smiles*

Xeno: I could go for a chili dog right now. [(A/n): To clarify Xeno is not in his new form in the flashbacks.]

(Y/n): Ok Mom and yes, I am hungry. *Smiles*

We went to the chili dog stand and bought some chili dogs for Xeno, Tails, (Y/n), and me. I gave (Y/n) his chili dog and he took his first bite I could see a small bit of joy on his face. I wanted to pay for the chili dog but Xeno insisted on him paying for it and we went to the park and I noticed there weren't that many people.

Lilac: *Mentally* I wonder why there are not that many people here.

I felt a tug on my sleeve and looked down seeing (Y/n) had a confused look on his face and Tails had his hand on (Y/n)'s shoulder.

Lilac: What's wrong my child?

(Y/n): Why are we here Mom?

Tails: Well, you can't stay inside the Treehouse forever.

Xeno: So, Lilac thought you would like to play on the swing set and other things kids do at the park.

(Y/n): I...I don't want to sound rude but...Can we go home, please?

Lilac: *Confused* But why, don't you want to play?

(Y/n): *Sad tone* I don't know how to play, *Looks down and kicks a rock nearby* I have never been to any places like this nor have I seen one.

I wanted to say something to him but I couldn't because I was at a loss for words, all I did was hug him and pat his head.

Xeno: Don't worry (Y/n), Lilac and I will show you how to play and have fun here. Right Lilac?

Lilac: Xeno's right, we'll show you how to play and you have Tails with you. *Smiles*

(Y/n): *Looks up with a smile on his face* Ok Mom.

Lilac: *Happy tone* Go play with Tails.

With that, we went to the playground and (Y/n) played games with Tails like hide and seek, tag, and while they had fun Xeno and I were watching them, and I could tell that for the first time that day (Y/n) was really happy and that's all I want to see from him, for (Y/n) to be happy and I want him to know that I love him and so does everyone in our family.

Lilac: *Mentally* (Y/n), you grew up so fast, you started out as a boy who wanted to kill himself, then to a boy who was nervous, shy, and scared of the world and people around him, and then you became to a young hedgehog who is becoming just like his father filled with joy, determination, and happiness. *Smiles and speaks out loud* Time really does go fast, huh?

Xeno: *Shocked* SHADOW?!?!

3RD POV

Lilac was surprised to see the former ULTIMATE LIFE-FORM with her talking to Xenophanes along with his wife.

Xenophanes: Damn, Shadow, Maira. How long has it been since we've seen each other?

Maria: Too long, Shadow and I have been raising Shade and he wants to challenge (Y/n) again.

Lilac: So, that's where (Y/n) has been for those weeks when he was younger.

Shadow: Shade Robotnik, that's no way to speak to someone.

Shade: Whatever father.

Shade: Where's (Y/n), I wanted to challenge him for one last time and make sure I win this time.

Xenophanes: Sound familiar Shads?

Shadow: Ok, I didn't act like that before.

Maria: No, you were worse. [(A/n): Felt referencing a good show about color-coded ninjas.]

Shadow: Ok, I moved on from my emo phase and I want to know how my nephew is. [(A/n): In this AU Shadow is a nice person and treats Sonic/Xenophanes like a brother.]

Shade: Yet, that "phase" got passed down to me, and I'll go to Beacon just to see how (Y/n) is and if he improved. *Gets chaos emerald out* CHAOS CONTROL!! *Teleports away*
