Dear Diary,

I'm sorry for not signing earlier, I couldn't finish. I'd started to hyperventilate and get light headed. I dropped you on the floor on accident, standing up to breathe better. Luckily, a nurse saw me and ran over to help steady me and calm me down. Unfortunately, she wasn't much help. The only thing that did help was when Byron rushed in, looking for me. He ran over and took me from the nurse's arms, pulling me into a comforting hug. Krista came in a few moments later taking my face in her hands gently, then pulling me into another hug.

They comforted me for a long time, but I couldn't talk until my panic attack wore off. They sat down beside me and held me gently, throwing worried glances at one another. After I finally calmed down, Byron gently spoke to me. He asked what happened, and if there was anything they could do to help. I took in a few deep breaths and briefly explained the events of the day, tears streaming down my face. Byron and Krista both wrapped me in their arms, reassuring me it wasn't my fault, but I knew it was.

Nothing can change my mind.

Now, they've fallen asleep, so I moved out of the way and scooted Krista gently over to Byron. Now I'm wandering the halls. I just want to see Malachi.

I'm tired of crying. I want to see him again. I want to make sure he's okay!

From,

Cratey R.
