Here we are with the new chapter!

Again,

Unless stated: I do not own any of the art, gifs in this book.

Enjoy!

"And now, introducing our favorite food!"

Zero shouted as the screen played.

"HEY!"

Paimon shouted, pouting at even the strange God calling her that.

She was not emergency food, damn it!

"So, let me see if I understand."

"Oh, hey! It's Paimon!"

The fairy/strange creature shouted.

"We know Paimon."

Lumine shook her head.

Before realizing, this was the start of her (well technically Aether in this world) journey.

Her smile being wiped clean as memories of that fateful day started playing themselves.

A voice rang out.

"You and your sister are world travelers that visit worlds and explore them. And when you tried to leave this one-"

"Lumine! You really got to tell us what kind of worlds you two have been to!"

Amber shouted, eager to know what it was like in other worlds.

Various shouts of agreement could be heard.

Many curious of what the outside world was like, since they don't possess the power to travel to other worlds.

Though some, like Kazuha, were interested in it in a different way.

"Later."

Lumine waved them off.

Scene changes to Aether and Lumine standing in mysterious ruins

'That's!?'

The Archons (minus GI Nahida since she's been trapped in a freaking sphere since her discovery, so I don't know how much she is truly aware of Celestia)

"You were blocked by an Unknown God who refused to let you leave?"

'...Unknown God?'

Zhongli frowned at that.

Which God could that be?

"That's right" Aether said as he remembered that fateful day

Here Lumine and Aether clenched their fists as the screen replayed that farce of a fight for the whole world to see.

Fight...right.

-Flashback-

We turn to 500 years ago as Lumine and Aether are about to leave Teyvat. A massive portal suddenly appeared in front of them and out stepped.

"Outlanders, your journey ends."

(Unknown God that is probably important in the future)

"What kind of God is that!?"

Ayaka Kamisato shouted.

Scared by just seeing her.

"I don't know." Her brother, Ayato Kamisato shivered. "Whoever she is though, she's far more terrifying than the Archons!"

'You don't know the half of it.'

GI Ei shook.

'Morax, Barbatos.' Ei mentally communicated to the Original Archons. 'Why is she there?'

'Wish I could tell you, Ei.'

Venti mentally shook his head.

'But for her, of all Gods, to block them.' Zhongli frowned. 'What is her goal?'

Something that the other Archons were wondering.

The Tsaritsa glaring at her with hate in her eyes.

"ZERO!"

Kiana suddenly shouted as she stared at the screen in shock.

Startling everyone else as well.

"Yes?"

Zero cheerfully asked, already knowing what was on her mind.

"Why the heck does she look like me!?"

"WHAT!?"

Many people shouted, as they turned back and forth between the Sustainer and Kiana appearances.

While they could see some, it wasn't a lot.

"That's because this world in a way shares a connection to your world."

Zero explained, though still confusing Teyvat on their conversation.

"Same soul, different life?"

Kiana realized, remembering his explanation in the other theater room.

"Bronya impressed."

Bronya emotionlessly said.

"Idiot tuna got it fast."

"Watch it!"

"Umm."

Jean broke the potentially argument about to happen.

"What are they talking about?" She asked. "I can see some similarities, but not much."

"It's because she's not talking about the one you see here." Kunikuzushi explained. "But her future self."

Here Zero changed the screen to reveal Kiana future self.

(HOTV Kiana Kaslana)

Terrifying the populace at this more menacing version of the Sustainer.

"Who is she!?"

Beidou shouted.

The normally unflappable captain shivered at the death stare the woman was giving towards the screen.

"She is what is known as a Herrscher." Ei spoke up. "Powerful beings that herald the end of all humanity, heralds to the Will of the Honkai that seeks to test humanity mettle. Are they strong enough to survive? Or will they perish under true power?"

"The Herrscher of the Void is one of the strongest Herrscher there is. And just one of them can destroy entire continents with a flick of their hands."

GULP!

"You don't have to worry about this one though." Ei crossed her arms, smirking at them. "The Kiana you see here who will become the HOTV, has no intention of destroying humanity."

Phew!

Many sighed a breath of relief.

"Because she's too busy being lovey-dovey with their version of (M/N)."

!?

"EI!"

Kiana shouted in embarrassment.

She did not need reminding of her love life! It felt too embarrassing to think about it.

She was still a teenager!

"Who are you?" Lumine questioned.

"Your worst nightmare."

"The Sustainer of the Heavenly Hotties

"...Huh?"

Lumine wasn't the only one dumbfounded by that.

Many in the audience were gaping at the screen in pure shock.

(Wait, what? -NO NEED TO THANK ME!- DEADPOOL!)

"Who's Deadpool?" Kaeya blinked.

"A Merc with a mouth."

Zero groaned.

'Forgot he did that'

"I forgot this particular version of him has the power to completely fuck up the multiverse. Altering it for his amusement. And I'm the one who has to fix it."

...Oh.

Cut! Take 2

"I am your Mother"

"WHAT!?"

"...Mom?"

Lumine and Aether quietly looked at the screen.

Well, I mean she could pass as their mom.

"NNNNNOOOOOOO!!!!"

"Déjà vu." Anakin suddenly said. "I have been here before."

CUT! Let's take it to the top.

Take 3

"The Sustainer of the Heavenly Principles, the arrogation of mankind ends here."

"...Arrogation of mankind?"

Keqing and Dainsleif muttered to themselves.

The arrogance of the Gods? Or has humanity done the unforgivable and incited their rage?

With that said black-red cubes suddenly appeared as she tried to capture them.

"Even her attacks resemble my future self own attacks."

Kiana mumbled to herself.

Terrifying the audience with that.

Reacting quickly, Lumine and Aether released their wings and flew away just in time before the cubes hit them.

"So fast!"

Sucrose shouted in amazement at the insane speed the twins were going at.

'They look to be interesting opponents to fight!'

Childe thought to himself, his eyes barely keeping up with the fight.

"Hmph" The SoHP scoffed, as she redirected her attack. Releasing a surge of at the twins who expertly dodges it. Sharing a look, the twins fly far before striking at incredible speeds towards her sides.

BLAST!

A wave of power echoed throughout the ruins as Aether and Lumine struggled to dig their swords at the Unknown God who was effortlessly repelling them with her hands.

"Such incredible power."

Albedo murmured to himself.

That attack was definitely not held back.

And yet, this Sustainer of the Heavenly Principles effortlessly blocked their attacks with no damage.

'What kind of God is she?'

"Ah, eh, nnng"

Could be heard as the twins try to fend off their adversary, only for the SoHP to smirk as cubes suddenly started consuming Lumine.

Shiver!

"That's gotta be uncomfortable."

Yoimiya shook.

The girl gasped in shock as she powerless to escape. Her last sight was Aether screaming for her.

"Lumine!" Aether shouted as the only thing left was a cube that the Unknown God held in her hand.

'That's what happened when I got swallowed up by the cubes?'

Aether thought to himself.

"No! Give her back!" Aether shouted as he poured all his energy into one final attack. Only for it to fail as the Unknown God was unfazed.

Tired of this game, she captured Aether with her cubes. Entombing him inside a mass of cubes.

"No...please give back...my sister"

Many people gave Lumine a sympathetic look.

Some knew what it was like to lose their only remaining family.

Was all he could say before he lost consciousness.

"After that I was asleep for who knows how long, only to be waken up by (M/N) and seeing a completely different world than what I saw the first time."

"If by 'waken up' you mean getting yelled at, then I guess that is a wake up call."

Itto said.

Sighing, Aether sat down on the sand, staring at the water as (M/N) did the same, hand on knee.

"Their mimicking each other."

Sara noted.

"How long has it been I wonder." Aether mused. "Days, months, years?"

"500 years to be exact."

Lumine deadpanned.

"I don't know, the only things I do know is that my sister is gone, my powers are sealed, and I have no way of leaving this world."

"C'mon kid, I told you not to let it get to you." (M/N) spoke up, "Besides, you got to meet us, didn't you?"

"How old is (M/N) anyways?"

Mei blinked.

"Eh" Zero shrugged. "Several thousand years or so."

...He's old.

-Somewhere in Genshin-

"I have the strongest feeling to commit mass murder."

(M/N) growled.

"Probably just the Jueyun Chili."

Aether waved off his father figure anger.

-Back to our main program-

He said, causing the two of them to look at their latest companion to their little.

(Paimon aka Emergency Food, "I'm NOT EMERGENCY FOOD!" Deadpool stop corrupting people in my stories! -Never!- Ugh)

"I can tell he's going to be a pain."

Diluc groaned.

"Yeah!" Paimon said, "And thank you for that."

"If you hadn't been here, Paimon would have drowned back then!"

"How the heck were you drowning anyways?" Lumine asked. "You can fly."

"Flying takes a lot more energy then it looks, Paimon will have you know!"

Several people snickered at the image of Aether fishing Paimon out of the water.

(Kind of weird that you were in the sea in the first place though)

"So, as a thank you Paimon will be your guide!" She declared.

"Huh?" Paimon tilted her head. "But Paimon thought (M/N) had that covered?"

"Huh? But isn't (M/N)?" Aether trailed off a little confuse at this declaration since (M/N) been helping him adapt to this new world.

"Take the offer." Said male stated. "There are things that I myself don't know, and there are probably things that I would not spare a glance to that might prove useful in your journey to find your sister."

"...Press X to doubt."

Lumine deadpanned.

Paimon having a deadpan expression as well.

Why did they get the feeling he was lying as naturally as he breathed?

Aether hummed as he put a hand to his chin at that, he made a good point there.

"All right, happy to have you with us Paimon!"

"Yay!" Paimon cheered, "Our first step is to head to a special statute known as one of the Statue of the Seven and there's a reason why."

"You never did really clarified on the reason."

Lumine told her companion.

"Eh? Paimon thought she did."

After a short trek on the road (and beating up some slimes) the trio finally made it to their destination.

"Those poor slimes."

Kaeya shook his head.

"Here we are one the Statue of the Seven!" Paimon announced, "This particular statue represents the God of Mondstadt – Barbatos. Paimon isn't sure if this is the one you are looking for, but it never hurts to check it out."

???

"Now that I'm taking a closer look." Barbara observed. "That statue seems awfully familiar."

Lumine, Jean, Paimon, Diluc, and Venti shakenly smiled.

"You have a point, Sister Barbara." Sister Victoria noted. "Where have I seen that face before?"

"So, let's go!" She shouted as she flew toward the statute.

Chuckling at her enthusiasm, (M/N) and Aether follow suit. Aether having to walk through the water while (M/N), he walked on the water (show off).

"And here I thought I was the only one to think of doing that."

Kokomi smiled.

"Here it is, hey Aether how about you touch the statute and see if it will respond?"

"Why did you tell me to do that anyways?"

Lumine suddenly realized.

There was no way that Paimon would have known that she would gain the power of the elements by touching the statues of the Seven.

"Honestly? Paimon just had a gut feeling something might happen."

...Bruh.

Paimon suggested, Aether shrugged he had nothing else to lose at this point and placed his hand on the statue.

"True." Lumine admitted. "I had nothing to lose, and nothing to gain if it didn't respond to me."

The statue suddenly glowed as a burst of power flew into Aether.

"Fascinating." Albedo muttered as he wrote something in his notebook.

Can wield the powers of the Seven just by touching the statues. Is it because of their alien status?

Of course, Sucrose and other people also took notes of this new phenomenon.

"Oh, wow did you feel the elements of the world?" Paimon asked.

"Yep!" Lumine confirmed. "And what a weird experience."

'So, that's how my power imbued itself into the Traveler.'

Venti thought in amusement.

"Interesting, it seems all you had to do was touch the statute and you received the power of Anemo." (M/N) spoke up, curious at that little tidbit.

"Yeah, despite how easy you made it look it's actually not that easy." Paimon agreed, "I'm pretty sure (M/N) has mentioned visions to you before, so Paimon knows you're aware that not many people are able to obtain powers in the way that you can."

"That's for sure."

While some were granted the power of the Gods, others had to live their lives without them.

But some don't need visions to make their dreams come true though.

"...I see" Aether said, "It's probably because I don't belong in this world in the first place."

"Can this happen to anyone?"

Albedo asked their host.

"It's possible."

Zero said.

"I don't keep track of that as it has no effect with my duties. But I think there are certain requirements needed, even for off-worlders, to still be able to use the elements."

"Fascinating."

"Most likely."

Paimon said, before turning to the distance.

"If we keep heading west, we should reach Mondstadt aka the City of Freedom and Wind. It's a place that many bards from afar gather so odds are that one of them surely would have heard about your sister."

"So many bards, yet so very useless."

Lumine grumbled, pissed that her time in Mondstadt bore no fruit.

Several people chuckled nervously at that.

Nodding their heads in agreement the trio began walking towards Mondstadt. For a while, all was peaceful as they walked in silence. Enjoying the serene landscape as the wind breeze past them.

"Such a picturesque view!"

Hu Tao shouted.

"Be a shame if something happened."

Suddenly stopping, (M/N) turned his head to the sky a serious expression on his face. Aether and Paimon stopped as they realized that their fellow traveler wasn't with them.

"There it is."

"(M/N), what's wrong?" Aether asked in concern.

"Get ready to see one of the guardians of Mondstadt." He coolly replied, as the wind suddenly began picking up.

!?

"Is he talking about Dvalin?"

Lisa questioned.

"Wha-!? Where did this wind come from?" Paimon questioned as she held onto Aether so that she wouldn't be blown away.

"Try not to tear our hair off, Paimon."

"Paimon already said she was sorry for that!"

ROAR!

Came the mighty roar of a massive beast flying overhead of them.

"A dragon!?"

"An actual dragon in this time and age!?"

"Food?"

"Dvalin."

Venti sighed, happy that his old friend was free.

"Wha!"

Paimon screamed, as the beast headed off into the distance.

'Dvalin' (M/N) thought to himself.

?

He knows who Dvalin is?

Is he a being of divinity?

"What was that?" Aether asked, confused.

"A guardian." (M/N) answered, "Though something seems off."

"He was able to tell at a glance that there was something wrong with him?"

Gorou blinked at that.

"It headed towards the forest, let's go see!" Paimon decided as she flew ahead of them.

"Seriously though, why did we go after a potentially hungry dragon?"

Lumine stared at Paimon who fidget under her judging stare.

"Wha- Paimon wait!" Aether shouted as he and (M/N) chased after her.

After wading through the forest, they stopped short of a clearing where the beast (dragon) along with

"Huh?" Barbara blinked as she realized someone was there.

"Isn't that the bard?"

Many people leaned in closer to the screen before turning to a certain bard himself.

'Uh-oh!'

Those that were in the know, realized.

'Is his/my identity going to be revealed?"

"Huh? Is that a human?" Paimon whispered as they hid behind a tree.

(Venti - I'm just a bard nothing more-ehe)

"Venti!" Barbara shouted. "What are you doing with Stormterror!?"

After all, this was set at the beginning where Dvalin was Stormterror at the time.

Meaning that Venti was putting himself at great risk being near him.

"..."

Venti said nothing.

'Barbatos' (M/N) thought to himself

...

...

'3' Zero and the others counted down. '2, 1'

"WHAT!?"

Bingo!

"Ve-Venti is Lord Barbatos!?"

Sister Rosaria was so shocked, that she actually pronounced the God name right!

Cause who would have thought the cheerful bard was actually the Anemo God in disguise!?

"I-I disrespected Lord Barbatos in his own church!"

Sister Victoria fell to her knees as she realized that she had rudely told him off when he tried to acquire the Holy Lyre to stop Dvalin rampage.

Even going so far as to arrogantly state that Anemo Archon would not forgive the dragon for his betrayel of Mondstadt. When in fact, he thought and felt differently.

'Oh the shame is never going to go away!' Sister Victoria wallowed in despair.

...Though it now explained why she felt the sensation to not be so harsh on him.

"I-I-I" Barbara was in shock, she couldn't find the words to speak. "I acted like a fool in Lord Barbatos presence! Oh! So embarrassing! I'll never live this down for as long as I live!"

While the Sisters of the Church were losing their minds, the rest of Mondstadt.

"Venti Lord Barbatos!?" "That explains why his songs are so good!" "Can't believe I had the honor to compete against him!" "And I thought he was just a funny guy!"

The other nations were also in disbelief at the fact that Venti was the Anemo Archon.

"...Ehe."

Venti nervously chuckled, as his people started to gather around him.

Shooting questions, and praises in being in his presence.

'Now I remember the other reason I kept it a secret.'

The Anemo Archon thought to himself.

Shooting a mental glare at Zhongli.

'Don't laugh you blockhead.' He mentally warned him. 'I'm pretty sure your next.'

Zhongli face turned neutral again.

"So, Mondstadt God has decided to walk amongst his people once more."

Ningguang mused in amusement at the scene before her.

Her secretaries just watching in amusement as well.

Keqing said nothing, as she just stared at the freakout before her.

Despite her reservations with the Gods, Barbatos was actually a God she had deep respect for.

While his people did worship him, Barbatos preferred them to lead and rule on their own without a God having to dictate and decide what they should do.

'Well, he is the God of Freedom for a reason.' She mentally laughed.

And having read up on Mondstadt history one time, she understood why Barbatos did not take to ruling his people.

"Diluc?"

Kaeya voice halted all conversations as everyone turned to the Calvary Captain.

"Why are you not surprised by this?"

"Because I already know."

Diluc simply said.

"WHAT!?"

Came the shocked responses of Kaeya and the majority of Mondstadt.

"How!?"

Amber asked/shouted at the Wine Tycoon.

"During the Stormterror incident." Diluc simply said.

"Big sister?" Barbara hesitantly asked. "Does that mean...?"

"Sorry, Barbara." Jean apologized. "But it was Venti wish that his true identity not be revealed."

"...Ah."

While she was slightly hurt, she could understand where her sister was going with this. If Lord Barbatos chose not to reveal himself, then who were they to go against his wish.

"Who else knew?"

Madame Ping asked in interest.

Being a former Adeptus herself, she knew that Venti was not who he appeared to be.

"Only Master Diluc, myself, Lumine and Paimon."

Jean simply said.

"Ah."

Dainsleif said nothing as he stared at the Anemo Archon.

"Shh, don't worry I'm back now. There's no need to be afraid." The young man (?) soothed the beast.

"Where were you anyways?"

Lumine asked.

"Secret."

"...You were sleeping, weren't you?"

"Ehe."

"What are they talking about? We should try to get closer." Paimon decided

"Seriously, why though?" Scaramouche deadpanned at the floating idiot. "Are you stupid?"

"Says the one who in a delinquent gang that means idiot."

"Why you!!"

"Are you an idiot?" (M/N) quietly chastised her (why the hell would they do that?), "We are in a dangerous situation and your first thought is to get closer?"

"Paimon was just curious!"

The fairy grumbled.

"Ever heard the saying: 'Curiosity killed the cat?'"

Nahida deadpanned.

"But didn't satisfaction bring it back?"

GI Nahida asked her counterpart in confusion.

"Generally, they wake up dead before they are satisfied."

Al-Haitham spoke up.

"How does one even wake up dead?"

Kraven asked his idiot roommate incredulously.

"Stop insulting me in your head, before I kick you to the curb and leave you out on the streets idiot."

"You wouldn't!"

"Try me."

"Let the bard handle this, he's got things covered."

"I would have." Venti grumbled. "If certain somebodies didn't nearly screw me over."

"Sorry."

Lumine bowed her head in sincerity.

Only for Venti to laugh.

"I'm just kidding Traveler! I'm not the type to hold a grudge over something as insignificant as that."

Fate however, had a different goal in mind as Aether garments suddenly flared with Anemo energy grabbing their attention.

"Why did it do that anyways?"

Paimon asked.

"Perhaps, the power of Anemo was resonating with the Anemo Archon."

Albedo theorized.

"That's a good theory."

Roaring, the dragon lashed out at the bard only for him to jump back in time.

Whew!

The Mondstadters breathed a sigh of relief at the Anemo Archon quick reflexes.

Even though this had already happened, it didn't make it any less scary.

"Who's there!?" He shouted as he looked at their direction.

Roar!

Came the dragon call, causing the bard to teleport himself out of there while the dragon flew away.

"If that isn't an indication that he's not normal, I don't know what is."

Rosaria deadpanned.

That kind of technique was unheard of, and most likely an advanced skill that might belong only to the bard.

She has never seen Jean or Sucrose use Anemo on that level of skill.

...Then again, maybe it's just that they never thought to using it like that.

"That was scary! Paimon almost got blown away!"

"Too bad you keep getting blown away."

Kunikuzushi smirked.

"Drop dead!"

"Yeah, thank whatever deity you believe in here that my hair didn't get blown away." Aether sarcastically said as he massaged the area Paimon was clinging to.

"Nearly tore my hair out with how tight you were holding onto it."

Lumine grumbled.

"Sorry!"

"Seriously though, what was that all about? Paimon thought we were going to get eaten."

"Did that weirdo have something to do with it?"

"You're one to talk about weirdos."

"Screw you, Tone Deaf Bard!"

"Possibly, though it is also connected to Aether Anemo powers suddenly acting out." (M/N) mused, "For now we should continue heading – oh?"

"Oh?"

He stopped mid-sentence as he notices something.

"Now, what have we here?" He said reaching out to a red crystal on the ground, only to pull back hissing. "Damn that hurts."

"It hurts?"

Keqing blinked at that.

"It seems to have an affect on vision holders." Lisa explained. "Nearly sent my body into an outbreak when I tried touching it."

"What is this?" Aether questioned as he got closer.

"Paimon never seen this type of crystal before, so Paimon can't explain."

"All Paimon knows is that it's bad news and should be handled cautiously." She finished as they put the crystal.

"Where did it even go?"

"Paimon doesn't know! Paimon always had that ability to store them away!"

"...Convenient."

"All right, back to the city!" She declared.

-a while later-

"Can't believe dragons exist in this world to." Aether commented, a little unnerved by their encounter.

"Seen dragons, have you?" (M/N) hummed.

"Now he's starting to talk like Yoda."

Palpatine grumbled.

"Yeah, some smaller than that dragon, and some bigger than him."

"Uhhh, how big are we talking?"

Amber shakingly asked.

"Big enough to tower over a small country."

Eep!

"You there, HALT!"

"OH!" Amber shouted. "They're going to meet me!"

"Yep!" Zero popped. "Be aware of (M/N) sarcastic attitude, Aether mimicking his bad traits, and Paimon going along for the ride."

"...Eh?"

Many people wondered what the hell he was talking about.

"Huh?" was the response as a figure suddenly jumped and landed elegantly in front of them.

(Amber 'People only love me for my thighs' Title: Outrider, weird that she has no last name)

"What's with that title!?" Amber shouted.

"Who dares to invoke my vengeance!?"

Eula shouted, prepared to defend her best friend honor.

Genshin Fandom: *Evil Snickering*

May the Anemo God protect you strangers!" the ??? said.

"I am Amber, Outrider for the Knights of Fabulous – I-I mean Favonius."

...Pft!

"Knights of-!? That's a good one!"

Kaeya laughed his ass off of that.

Several other members quietly snickering at that.

She stuttered out the last part.

"You don't look like Mondstadt citizens. Explain yourself!"

"W-Wait we're not here looking for trouble!" Paimon quickly explained.

"That's what they all say." Amber bit back.

"...Really though?"

"Shut up!"

Sighing, the Traveler spoke up.

"My name is Aether." He introduced himself.

"...That doesn't sound like a local name to me." She deadpanned

"Yes, because Mondstadt is the only nation that exists." (M/N) sarcastically said, "Did it ever occur to you that we might be visitors from a foreign land?"

"..."

"It didn't, did it?"

"..."

"Your stunned silence is very reassuring."

"...UUuuhhhhhh." Amber trailed off as her face turned red at that statement.

"Guess my counterpart wasn't expecting that."

"Name's (M/N) (L/N) by the way short stuff.

"EXCUSE ME!?"

"Short!? I'm at a perfectly acceptable height for my age thank you very much!"

"Freaking jerk."

Amber heatedly bit back annoyed.

"And what about this...floating mascot, what's the deal with it?"

Aether and (M/N) looked at each before looking at her with poker faces, saying

"Emergency food."

"Wow, great minds do think alike."

Lumine blinked.

She was almost positive he was going to say something like a friend, or so.

In unison

"Wha-Hey! That's even worse than being a mascot."

The two laugh at her indignation at being labeled as food.

"For 666th time! Paimon is not Emergency Food!"

"Keep telling yourself that."

"ARGH!"

"So, to summarize you are all traveling companions?"

"Yep!" (M/N) popped out his answer, swinging his arm Aether shoulder. "We're helping this gaki find his long lost sister."

"Gaki?"

Yelan blinked at that word.

"It means 'brat'"

Zero answered.

"Ah."

Amber eyes softened at that, she knew all too well the pain of losing someone you cared for.

'...Grandpa.'

Amber thought sadly to herself, remembering that one day he just disappeared.

Several other people had similar thoughts running through their minds.

Signora clenched her fist, as she remembered her beloved.

'Rostam.'

Her eyes glaring coldly at the Anemo Archon.

Only to turn away when Zero directed his gaze towards her.

The unspoken message?

'Don't.'

And considering how easily he took down the first three with no effort, especially since they had the ability to fight the Gods themselves. She had no intentions of dying just yet.

"You three should be careful, there have been sightings of a dragon around these parts so it's not safe at the moment."

"Even if Dvalin wasn't a problem." Lumine shook her head. "There are still other dangers that are worse than an angry dragon rampaging about."

Eyes went towards the Fatui who twitched at how easily everyone wordlessly voted for them.

"Since, we're close to the city, I'll escort you there myself."

"Are you sure" Paimon asked "You're probably here for another reason, other than helping out passerbys."

"It's along the way so there's no need to worry" She reassured them, "Besides, I'm not 100% positive I can trust you lot."

"Geez, what's with the suspicions" Aether groaned, he just wanted to get to the damn city already. Was that too much to ask?

?

"Don't recall Aether having this much sass before." Lumine blinked in confusion.

Her brother having the same thoughts about his counterpart as well.

"You can thank (M/N) for that." Ei laughed. "Having a companion like him is bound to have some characteristics of him imprint on Aether."

"Especially since Aether sees him as a father figure/older brother. He follows him like a little duckling."

"Pft!" Lumine laughed at the image of Aether looking like a duckling following the older male. "Now I can't get that thought out of my head!"

"Oh, right. That's not something I should say as a knight" Amber backtracked, "Apologies strange, respectable...travelers."

"Not gonna lie." Lumine deadpanned at that. "That was pathetic."

"Hey!"

She trailed off lamely.

"...Now that's just sad." Paimon deadpanned, not knowing what to say.

"See? Even Paimon agrees."

"Wha- do you something against the Knights of Favionius Handbook etiquette!?

"...Probably not the best thing to say."

Amber sweatdropped.

"...Just when I thought my respect couldn't go any lower it has" (M/N) deadpanned, "Word of advice: update that archaic Handbook. Its' so pathetic that it's not even worth laughing about."

'Another one who dislikes the Knights of Favonius?'

Diluc blinked at that. Rarely did he find anyone who would say they dislike them. Unless you were from the Lawrence clan, but they technically didn't count due to the history between them.

'Though they do got a point about the handbook.' He thought to himself. "It really needs to be updated."

"Diluc!" "Master Diluc!"

Blinking, Diluc looked at the KOF before saying.

"Did I say that outloud?"

"Yes, you did!"

Himeko snickered at the burn her lookalike gave.

"GGRRRRR, Let's go!" Amber growled in embarrassment as they headed towards her destination.

"What are you, a dog?"

"Want me to bite your arm off, Kaeya!?"

"Oh, kinky."

"GGRRRRR!"

-A short while later-

"Hilichurls?" (M/N) said as they got to where Amber was heading to.

"Yes, they have been getting closer and closer to the city lately." Amber explained, "So my job is to take out their camp."

"Never did find out why they were gathering so close to the city."

Amber frowned.

"Didn't Kaeya tell you guys?" Lumine blinked.

"Eh?"

Amber said.

"Tell us what exactly?"

Jean frowned at that.

"...Seriously, Kaeya?"

Lumine gave the one eye pirate of the captain of horses a dead look.

"You didn't tell them that the Abyss sent them as a distraction for them to try to infiltrate the city?"

"...Oops?"

Crackle,

"We'll talk about this later, Kaeya."

Lisa 'gently smiled' at him.

"...Meep."

Sigh, "Here we go" (M/N) said as they lunged towards the hilichurl.

"YA!?" The monsters yelled as they were ambushed by the group.

Fwing!

"Ya!?" A hilichurl shouted as he was shot through the heart.

"And your to blame!"

Kiana suddenly shouted.

"Darling, you give love a bad name!"

Himeko added the next verse, confusing the Teyvatians on what the hell they were singing.

(Don't know why, but I feel like Himeko would so do this. Singing, I mean)

Swing

Aether swung his sword at a group of hilichurls striking with terrifying speed.

"Ya!!"

The hilichurls screamed as Aether made short work of them.

"They never stood a chance!"

Paimon shouted.

"Begone with the Wind!" He shouted unleashing his final blow.

"Should have been: Begone thot!"

Lumine grumbled, would have been more funny.

"Ya!" "Hmph!"

(M/N) scoffed as he dodged an attack from a club wielding hilichurl, swinging his sword

Slash

Right at the hilichurl neck, separating his head from his body.

"By Rex Lapis!"

Chongyun shouted, shivering at the brutal efficiency the male was massacring the poor hilichurls.

"Remind me not to make him my enemy" Xingqiu shivered.

"Only if you promise the same for us."

Xiangling gulped.

"YA!" The angered hilichurls rushed at him determined to avenge their fallen comrade.

"Too easy." (M/N) said, hydro energy flowing into his sword, causing it to glow a blue color.

"Water slash!" He shouted, swinging his sword causing a wave of hydro energy to fly right at the charging enemies.

And cut them in half.

"...I can see why my counterpart wants him for the Fatui."

The Tsaritsa stared, impressed at the male display of power.

"mmpmh"

Came the grunts of a Mitachurl as it angrily gripped its axe and prepared to charge at them.

"Go go Baron Bunny!" Amber shouted, releasing her trump card.

"Go go what?"

Itto blinked.

An adorable little bunny like doll, that was dancing like nobody business.

"AW! So cute!"

Itto shouted.

The Mondstadters silently snickering at what was to come.

It worked in attracting the Mitachurl attention as it proceeded to attack it. Only for the bunny doll to explode and kill the Mitachurl with it.

"Nevermind, not cute, not cute!"

"Huh, and here I thought being a comedian came with being a knight." (M/N) spoke.

"Hmph! Still think that the knights are a joke?" Amber taunted, a cocky smile on her face.

"Do you really want the answer to that?"

Collei asked her friend.

"Yes" "Uh-huh" "No doubt about it"

"Evil." Dehya said. "I like it!"

Was the trio response, causing Amber to pout.

"So mean."

Amber also pouted.

"Jerks, anyways we should be getting close to the city.

"Deal with it." Zero said with sunglasses on his face. "Cause they're going to be trolling all of Teyvat to be remembered for years to come."

"...That's scary."

Arlecchino shivered for some reason.

After a short walk they got to a bridge,

"Here we are, once we passed this bridge we will be in Mondstadt.

With that said, our heroes proceeded to finally walk into Mondstadt, their first of many destinations in their journey.

"And that ends that part."

Zero paused the screen as he turned to his guests.

"How do you like it so far?"

"...Is the handbook really that outdated?"

Varka voice startled residents of Mondstadt as they turned to him.

"Grand Master Varka!" Jean shouted, standing up as did her fellow knights.

"At ease." Varka said. "Besides, we're not exactly at a place for that kind of grandstanding."

"But to answer your question."

Ivan Ooze spoke up.

"Yes."

Palpatine finished.

"It's older than me, and people say I'm ancient thanks to my appearance."

...Bruh.

"So what happens next?"

Razor struggled to get the words out.

"Angry birds, sus captains, and overworked knights."

Nahida answered.

"Let's roll the show."

Kunikuzushi shook his head.

(Roll the cliiiip!)

With that, Zero hit play once more.

Done. Took a little longer to finish this but here it is.

So, we met Amber and the Amber in the theater is in pouty mode due to their sass. The KOF handbook needs updating. Everyone is having a heart attack at Venti identity being revealed.

Deadpool needs to stop messing with reality.

Deadpool: Never! As a certain grape said: "Reality is often disappointing."
