This story is inspired by the anime film HoneyWorks: I Want to Let You Know That I Love You (also titled: I've Always Liked You.). It contains Yaether (Yae Miko x Aether), Rejection, & Regret. I also added the Gacha Club Images for the first time cuz I download the Gacha Club.

This is also a prequel to the comedic Genshin Harem's Video. Which is deleted for some reason. In the deleted video, Aether and Yae Miko's Daughter, Yae Saiguu will have a sibling with Ganyu's child named Mayu.

The story starts here with Aether and Yae Miko who are childhood friends, later lovers, and future parents to Yae Saiguu.

Aether was walking around Inazuma until he made it to Narukami Shrine and Yae Publishing House. He met his childhood friend, Yae Miko.

Miko: Oh, Hello Traveler, What brings you here?
Aether: Oh nothing, Just as usual. I brought some papers for a novel. Yae-sama.
Miko: What's the title?
Aether: it's called "The Traveler and the Priestess Kitsune"
Miko: Okay, I'll take it from here.

Then Miko started to reading his handwriting. After that, She was really impressed.

Miko: You did a fine job, Traveler.
Aether: Anytime, Yae-san.

She smiled as he did the same.

Aether (thoughts): I'm falling in love with you Yae-sama. I'll always make you proud of my hard work.

Then as the Days went by after they help to save Ei and abolished the Vision Hunt Decree and Sakoku Decree. Aether always visited her and his feelings started to grow but Aether doesn't know that Miko did the same. Until one day, Aether is about to confess his feelings to her.

Aether (thoughts): Okay, Aether, this is it, I'm gonna confess to her about how I feel.

Aether went to the Sakura Tree, He met the gaze of Yae Miko.

Just like the light of the moon is not its own, and so is my smile not my own..

Miko: What are you talking about Aether?

He kneeled down to her, she looked flustered and confused. Her smile is as bright as the sun, but can one keep all the light of the sun to one's self?

Aether: I love you Yae-sama, will you continue to light my way till the day our brief moment ends?
Miko: T-Traveler? It's not nice to joke about this kind of stuff. I am too carefree, and I don't think I will make a good wife. I always thought that Lady Ayaka is far more suitable for you.

I hold her hand.

Aether So what? Miko, the one that I love is you. Even if all she said is true, I love those parts of her too.
Miko: I'm sorry but I need time to think about it.

And so she turned away from him.

Aether (thoughts): I can't believe it, She rejected on Me... It's over, My springtime of life is over.

Since then, she has always been avoiding him. It has been a week since. he accidentally saw her talking with Ayato. He has saw them from a distance as they laughed and she blushed. He could not hear their conversation, but he realized that he already have his answers. It was not that he did not understand, he just did not want to admit it.

Even before he was here, they had always been together. He is tall, dependable, talkative. They make a perfect pair. But he did not want to leave without saying anything. At the last minute before his departure, he went to her house, he saw her shadow but she still hid from him. At this point, everything was already too late. He went to her for one last time.

Miko: Oh hello what brings you here?
Aether: Yae-sama, I wanna say that...
Miko: What is it, Traveler?
Aether: Thank you for Everything, I know we've been working together. But it's time for me to go. Goodbye.

He turned and walked away from her, but Miko felt almost heartbroken.

Miko: Traveler, wait!

He stopped as he turned to her.

Miko: I have to tell you... That I've always liked you.

She confessed her feelings but after being rejected. Aether still felt heartache.

Aether: I'm going now. You're done, right? The last practice for your confession of love.

He turned away from her much to her shock in disbelief.

Miko (thoughts): W-Why? This isn't practice. This is the real thing. But it's not getting across to him.

He stopped for a moment and turn with his smile, she noticed that he was hiding his sadness with his smile like wearing his mask, hiding his true face.

Aether: For the real bit, do your best. *smiles*

He turned away from her, much to heartbroken to Miko, she never felt emotional since after they saved Ei, until now. He brought out the published light novel and left to the harbor.

Miko (thoughts): Wait. Wait... Wait... Wait!

She started to have flashbacks of Aether spending time with her in Inazuma & his smile. She finally realized she has feelings for him and that her heart & love truly belong to Aether, thus regretting her rejection of his feelings.

Miko: Wait!

She ran and grabbed his arm.

Miko: I love you!

Then Everyone including Ei, Sara, Kokomi Keqing, along with their friends and Abyss Princess Lumine and their Abyss Creatures heard the commotion as well. Miko started to cry as she have her tears

Miko: *crying* Practice was all the lie. I love you so much, it's unbearable. I'm not that girly, I get jealous... I want to go on a lot of dates, and I'm selfish and stupid, but... *wiping her tears but failed as tears fall out* I still want you to be my boyfriend.

She was crying as she covered her face with her hands, Aether finally realized that she regretted for rejecting him and has her feelings for him. She truly loves him so much.

Miko: *crying* I have fallen in love with you, Aether. I'm such an idiot.

He quickly hugged him shocking her while blushing. Much to everyone's reaction.

Aether: *smiles* Yae-sama, Thank you. I gladly accepted your offer.

She finally smiles as she hugs him back while having her tears in joy.

Miko: Call me, Miko.
Aether: Miko, Thank you.

Then the petals of Sakura winds passing them. They looked with their eyes as they smiled as their face got closer then they finally kissed.

The people of Narukami are cheering that the Light Novel finally came to Reality.  "The Traveler and the Priestess Kitsune" Love Story Light Novel finally became true.

Villager: Woohoo!
Villager: Yes!
Itto: Do you see that?! (2x)
Kazuha: Yes.
Gorou: I'm glad, they finally know their true love.

They broke their kiss with their strings of saliva while catching their breath. Then they hold their hands at each other.

Aether: I love you, Yae Miko.
Miko: I love you too, Aether.

Lumine was very happy but a bit jealous due to the brother complex, thinking that he abandoned his search for her. Ei and the Girls were very jealous of the confession but they were happy to see Miko finally show her emotions and her feelings. He thought that their springtime of life was over, but their life is about to begin. Then 4 Months Later, He finally proposed to her

Aether: Miko, will you marry me?
Miko: Yes.

He slid the ring to her finger as they hugged.

Then one day later there was a wedding, Miko is now wearing a traditional kimono wedding dress as Aether wears Kimono.

Priest: Aether, will you take Yae Miko as your wife?
Aether: I do.
Priest: Yae Miko, will you take Aether as your husband?
Miko: I do.
Priest: I pronounced you Husband & Wife.

They kissed as the people clapped their hands and cheered as they have finally married. They're no longer Childhood Friends but as Lovers. On the balcony during the Honeymoon Event, they hugged as she placed her hand on his chest.

Aether: Miko, Thank you for staying by my side.
Miko: Me too, Thank you for having me as a happy woman.

Then they kissed.

Then they broke their kiss.

Aether: I love you, Miko.
Miko: I love you too, Aether.

A Year Later

Aether and Miko have a daughter named Yae Saiguu named after her deceased grandmother and one of Ei's friends.

Saiguu: Mommy, I can't wait to see my Auntie Ganyu.
Miko: Of course, It's been a while since then.
Aether: Let's go to Liyue.

Then they pack their things and went on the Crux as it departs to Liyue.

Miko: Ready to see your Auntie?
Saiguu: Yes! Can't wait.
Aether: You're really excited, sweetie.
Miko: She sure is, Darling.

Then they saw the view of the Liyue Harbor.

Aether: We're here Saiguu-san.
Saiguu: Wow.

They smiled at their daughter before looking at Liyue.

This is a new beginning for his new family.
