It was a stormy day in the city. People and animals alike were rushing to get home or at least desperately searching for a dry place to stay. All the while, the rain continued to pour in heavy torrents. Everything was getting soaked, nothing outside was left dry. Absolutely nothing.

Scurrying across the busy street and narrowly avoiding a speedy car, the two Siamese cat twins successfully made it to the alley. Shaking his fur and getting his twin sister soaking wet, the brother muttered, "I hate rain." Shoving him, the sister hissed, "No duh you idiot. Everyone hates rain! It gets everything wet!"

"I'm soaking wet!" the brother spat. The two siblings were about to fight when a small voice whimpered, "Me too." Surprise painted across their faces, the twins looked down. Standing there with them was an adorable little Pomeranian puppy with a pink bow on her head. Shivering like a little leaf, the puppy's fluffy fur was flattened against her body from the rain and wind. Taking a step forward, she mumbled, "Hi, I'm Gidget. Can you please help me?"

"Well hello there Gidget, are you lost?" the Siamese sister asked, lowering her head and sniffing the puppy. The brother walked over and asked, "Yeah, where are your owners?" He was simply guessing, based on the pink bow. Trembling, Gidget looked at her surroundings. When she faced the Siamese cat twins once more, she whimpered, "Hi, I'm Gidget. Can you please help me?"

"What?" both twins asked at the same time, looking at each other in confusion. Clearing her throat, the sister spoke, "Sweetie, you just said that." Her ears pinned against her head, Gidget murmured, "I did?" When the felines nodded their heads in sync, the puppy bowed her head shamefully as she apologized, "I'm sorry, I suffer from short term remembory loss."

"Short term memory loss?" the cats repeated at the same time. Glancing at each other, they turned around to discuss privately amongst themselves. "What are we supposed to do?! She can't remember anything!" the brother exclaimed. Shrugging her shoulders, his sister replied, "I don't know! We'll just think of something! We can't leave her to defend for herself in a place like this!"

"Crap, she's gone," the brother hissed, realizing that the Pomeranian puppy was nowhere to be seen. The two cats scrambled to look for her. There was no way she could get very far, right?

Right?
