Kotori Pov

"What are we going to do now?" I asked, scared.

Maki has veen carried away by the paramedics.

"We have to continue this performance." Umi stated firmly.

"Are you kidding me? After what just happen to Maki?" Nico defended. Everyone looked at Umi.

"We don't have a choice. This event is huge. If we stop. We will also be affecting the company reputation."

"I'm afraid she is right. We have to do this." Eli added in.

I looked at Honoka. She was as frightened as I was.

"Nozomi could you take Maki's parts since you don't have any duets with her." Umi instructed.

"Sure, I guess."

"Well, I guess we don't have a choice." Honoka voiced up.

After everyone agreed to it, we told the organisers and they turned our mics back on.

We got into formation, Honoka up front.

She announced "Sorry for the inconvenience. We will now resume our performance."

The audience was hesitant as well but they clapped none the less.

The music started up and we continued with the performance.

With Rin taking Maki's part in the last song.

We went up front for a curtain call. Seems like the audience still enjoyed our performance, the even gave us a standing ovation.

We exited stage once the curtains closed.

Nico Pov

There must be something wrong with me. What is this feeling inside me? And why am I worrying about her more than I should. Why does she keep popping up in my head.

That cute red head.

Maki.....

Why is this girl bothering me so much?

"Nico, are you okay?" Nozomi's voice cut through my thoughts.

I saw everyone looking at me, I realised that they were discussing something.

"Of course! Why won't I be?" I replied with a smile.

"You see seem a little distracted-nyan~" Rin commented and the rest nodded.

"Just a little tired, I guess." I replied with a small giggle.

They just nodded.

"So, what is Maki's condition?"

My ears were high on alert.

"She was send to a nearby hospital." Honoka said.

"But they didn't tell us the cause of it." Umi added.

"They don't know when she will wake up." Kotori sounded frightened.

"Maki was having a high fever." I blurted.

Once again they turned to me.

"High fever?!" Hanayo exclaimed.

I nodded.

"Not only that she has been throwing up the day before." I explained.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Eli asked.

"She told me not too."

"How do you know all these?" Nozomi questioned.

"She was already sick from two days before during practice. I noticed that Maki was acting like her usual self so I asked her about it. The next day I went to visit her." I said, I felt a blush crept across my cheeks.

"She was sick during practice-nyan?"

"Why didn't we notice anything?" Kotori.

"We were really busy it was hard to notice." Eli suggested.

"And we were pushing her really hard that day too." Nozomi added, guilty. Everyone went silent.

"We should go visit her now." Honoka suggested.

"Yah. Let's go!" Everyone agreed.
