Byblos is the center of trade in phoenicia, from which it is on the outer fringes of Persia. The Phoenicians have good ties to the Greeks due to being expert seafarers, merchants, and explorers. However, the air taphus was built near byblos as a means of producing air (green) ether to amplify air magic for the Phoenicians. This made Zeus and possibly Uranus (god and personification of the sky) very angry, and thus the Phoenicians had to shut down the air taphus to avoid the wrath of the gods.

"We made it to byblos, phorcys!" Said Timaeus as he smiled, but he noticed that there's someone following him and the ancient sea god out at sea. "PHORCYS!!" Called out a voice in the horizon, Timaeus squinted his eyes as the speck in the horizon got closer. Upon further inspection as the figure got closer and closer, it was a bearded man riding a chariot pulled by dolphins. "Who is that?" Asked timaeus "poseidon...!" Growled phorcys as if he knew the god of the sea, he picks up Timaeus off his back and gently set him on the dock of byblos. By the time Poseidon gotten closer to the ancient sea god, the ship Argo also came in tow "phorcys! How dare you side with the humans and the bearer of oceanus's soul piece! They desecrated Gaia and your father, pumping ether from the taphoi in order to resurrect the dreaded weapon typhon, and they must be destroyed!" Yelled Poseidon.

This made phorcys angry "humans may have desecrated grandmother Gaia and father, but there's still some goodness in them! It was prometheus who gave the king of Athens the idea of the taphoi to get revenge on you, the Olympians, for imprisoning him when he gave humanity the gift of magic in the form of fire! Don't get me started about how the one piece of the titans soul, residing in the man called agon, wanted revenge on Zeus for betraying him" he pointed out, but Poseidon is having none of it. Instead, the Olympian threw his trident at the ancient sea god but it only made him flinch and bounced off from his red exoskeleton like skin, phorcys dipped his hand and created sea monsters to attack Poseidon in retaliation. As both sea gods fight, espart immediately orders his crew to evacuate the ship and swim into harbor to safety. "Espart?" Said Timaeus as he watched as the boy captain leapt into the harbor "yep! It's me, but now's not the time for idle chat, because these sea gods are fighting!" Replied espart as he and Timaeus fled into town.

Even the people of byblos watched as phorcys and Poseidon clashed into one and the other, some of the soldiers garrisoned at the walls fled when the fight reached into eastern shores. "What do we do now? Poseidon and phorcys are fighting, and we have no clue where the air taphus is located... other than is near byblos" said Timaeus "hmm... perhaps we can ask around, or we can find it ourselves" replied espart. The duo asked around the city the direction of the air taphus:

"Air taphus? It hasn't been used in over 4 years ago" replied the merchant.

"Why do you ask that question? Are you trying to provoke the wrath of Uranus or Zeus!? We already have that problem of two sea gods fighting each other!" Replied the guard to Timaeus and espart.

"The air taphus taphus is located 6 miles southeast from here, but if i were you i wouldn't go and activate it" replied the old lady "thanks for your help miss" said Timaeus as he and espart walked out of the city, they even rented two saabas (desert dwelling flightless birds) to make the journey. "With these saabas, we'll get to the taphus and shut it down for good!" Said espart gleefully "yes, I've rode on a saaba before in egypt" replied Timaeus as he got on the bird. The duo rode through the sands at the destination of the air taphus.
