I was in my hotel room in Tokyo, Japan and my latest match in the Tokyo Dome was exciting but exhausting. But while I looked through my e-mail I came across one that wasn't labled or titled at all. So just out of curiosity I opened it and found it was from my old friend Trish Stratus. I met her a couple times while working in the Indy's of the U.S. I gave her my contact information but that was close to a full four to five years ago. I read the e-mail and it told me that the WWE would like for me to join their ranks as they were very impressed with the work I've done in my career. Once I finished reading it. I called Trish and she passed on the fact that I accepted their offer to come and work for them. But I had to meet them in Cincinnati in a day or two. So I packed and caught the first flight to the States. Which was to Chicago. But I didn't mind.

While on the plane I familiarized myself with who was contracted to both brands and their career highlights.

When the plane landed I snagged my large duffel from the overhead bin and got off the plane and picked up my other bag and suitcase from baggage claim. Then headed to the rental car desk and arranged for them to pick up their car in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Once I was on the road to Cincinnati I just turned on my latest audio book that just so happened to be 'Never Sleep Again' The Autobiography of Wes Craven.

I arrived in Cincinnati with a couple hours to check into my hotel room that the WWE arranged for me, take my bags up to my room and then headed to the arena for tonights RAW. When I arrived at the arena I went directly to the office suites of the arena and found Hunters office. I knocked and walked in.
"Mr. Boyce." Hunter grinned. "Please come in." I walked in and saw Trish sitting in the chair across from Hunter to the right of me. I took the seat to my left. "Trish tells me that you are interested in becoming part of the company."
"That's correct."
"Well, Steph and I have looked at all the matches you've done for the past year and even I must say that you have made your career very unique. And we'd like you to bring your unique style to the WWE and when Trish told us that you accepted the offer we couldn't have been more happy as we are now. Tonight you'll just familiarize yourself with some of the talent that's here tonight. In fact we're planning a little love triangle storyline between you and Dolph Ziggler for Alexa Bliss." I smiled at that prospect considering I had been following Alexa Bliss' career with I would dare say intense interest.
"That actually sounds pretty interesting. I'm in."
"Any preference to your theme. I know that you used to come out to 'Dream Warriors' by Dokken."
"I still would like to come out to that. But when I'm in a dark mood  though. When I'm in a good mood I'd like to come out to 'The Rising Sun' that was performed by Nita Strauss."
"Sounds good to me." Hunter said and just as I was about to look over my contract Shinsuke Nakamura came in as he was there along with most of the other Smackdown Live superstars.
"Daniel-san."
"Great a Miyagi reference." I said as I stood up and faced him. He slowly approached me.
"So, you want to use my old theme from Wrestlemania 34?"
"If there's no problem?" I said. He and I exchanged serious glares for a few moments. Then we started to smile.
"Good to see you again."
"Hey. It should be me saying that to you." I patted his shoulder.
"You two know each other?" Hunter asked.
"Oh yes. Daniel and I knew each other since Japan. He was actually one of my old tag team partners. Even one of my best students in the strong style." Shinsuke praised which surprised me considering the Shinsuke I knew would not give anyone praise unless they earned or deserved it.
"Shh. Ixnay on the studentay. We wouldn't want Finnay Baloray to hear us-ay." Shinsuke giggled at that.
"Agreed. Glad to have you with the WWE. I give my approval to use the Wrestlemania 34 version of my theme. I no longer use it anyway." He hugged me before leaving the office.
"Okay." I looked through the contract three to four times and after the fifth read through I signed it. Then handed it to Hunter. Trish got up and hugged me and kissed my cheek.
"Welcome to the WWE Daniel." She smiled.
"I agree. and you'll make quite the welcome addition to the WWE. We'll get the storyline set up and you and Dolph and Alexa can start as soon as next Monday."
"I'd like that. I appreciate it Hunter. When do I start though?"
"Well, creative and myself would like to take this entire week building up your arrival here. So if you want we'd appreciate you cutting some vignette's tomorrow at our main office in Stamford. We'll film all your vignette's on a dark soundstage unless it calls for something different."
"Okay. Does that mean I have to fly or drive?"
"We'll fly you out there Daniel. I mean you'll film all your vignette's and be on the next flight to the next live event." He then asked, "Where do you live anyway now that I'm thinking about it?"
"I don't have anywhere to go. The last home I had was in Glasgow but I sold it when I went to Japan. So I'm pretty much going to be a hitchhiker for a few months."
"In that case. I think you should take a day or two and look for a place that you think is going to fit you personally not your persona." Hunter said. I agreed.
"Okay. Before I go and just get myself situated. May I ask who will win the love triangle between me and Dolph for Alexa?" I didn't like how they were all of a sudden being mum on that. "Okay. I get it. You didn't really bring me here to add my unique style to the WWE you just brought someone that Dolph and others like him can just imitate later. I don't know if you noticed but once the fans hear that I'm here. The next three arena's I'm on the card. Will have to rebuild their roof. But I guess the egotistical look after their own." I got up and left the office. I found an empty locker room and just put my arena bag on the floor and just sat on the floor leaning against the first locker near the door. I was in a bad mood. A knock came to my door and I tried ignoring it until I got fed up and just answered it. I opened the door and found Trish standing next to Alexa.
"Daniel. I think you may want to know that you are supposed to win the love triangle for this girl right here." Trish said referring to Alexa as she was bouncing up and down a bit. "Daniel Boyce, I'd like you to meet Lexi Kaufman. As you may know as."
"Alexa Bliss." I finished curtly. "Sorry I don't mean to be so surly right now. It's just that I have no real home here in America anymore and on top of that Hunter and everyone else was mum on the ending of the storyline involving you, me and Dolph." I explained.
"It's okay. I don't really like it when they do it to me either." She smiled.
"Well, I'm going to make sure Hunter will keep the ending as planned. Because the last thing anyone needs is the King of Nightmares to be in a dark mood within the first few months of his WWE career." Trish smiled at us. "And again. Glad your finally here." She hugged me and kissed my cheek and Lexi's. Then walked off.
"If you don't have anything tonight. Would you like to come in?" I asked.
"Sure." I could tell that she was trying to keep her excitement if not her inner fangirl muted. She and I talked for most of the night but when RAW ended. We talked a little more before she headed to her locker room and I just picked up my arena bag and headed out to the car. "Daniel!" Lexi yelled getting my attention. "Can I get a ride to the hotel. Mickie and Alicia left without me."
"Sure. Come on." I signaled her over and she smiled as she practically ran towards the rental car. And once she opened the door and tossed her three bags into the back and I tossed mine with them. We both got in and just headed to the hotel.

Once there she checked in but before I could head to my room. She grabbed my left arm. "Hey, Daniel. Thank  you for giving me a ride to the hotel."
"It's no problem." I grinned. She leaned up and kissed my cheek as I was barely a few inches taller than her. I kissed her cheek in return and she turned a few light shades of red. "I hope that we can hang out once I find a home here in the States again. And after I film my vignette's for the next few days."
"That would be great Daniel."
"Any suggestions on where I can find a place."
"Well I think either Madison, Wisconsin or Columbus, Ohio." She grinned.
"I'll look in Columbus." I replied.
"Okay. Here's my number. So that way once your free you and I can talk or hang out or whatever." She smiled as she walked away and I headed in the opposite direction.
