The shock in the air was enough to make lightning strike. As Wilson and Willow pulled away from their brief moment of affection, Webber, Wendy and Wolfgang stared in amazement at the two gods they thought hated each other.

Willow was unable to think of what to do at first. Then her face turned red and she turned away from the man she was in love with and muttered profanities. Wilson wasn't ashamed in the least. He was proud of himself, in fact. The old him would never do something so drastic and not thought through. This part of him felt so much better than anything. He was the outgoing type now.

Willow didn't hit Wilson surprisingly. She just stood and ordered everyone to get up, that we had ground to cover before night fell. Everyone but Wilson got up in a hurry. The winter god merely stood slowly and followed the group.

---

Maybe it was the realization of what he did that made Wilson suddenly unwilling to make eye contact with Willow. Or the fact that she would glare at him whenever she saw him looking in her general direction. His cheeks burned a light shade of red, and he stood a reasonable distance away from the fire goddess. Webber was just plain confused looking. He didn't understand what had even happened, but it didn't really matter. He was just glad that Wilson was back.

Wendy just pretended it didn't happen. Her focus was more on the large flower that was in her hands.

Wolfgang could barely look at the two of them without trying to contain his laughter.

This just made the both of them more embarrassed.

As they continued on, Wilson once again began to notice the things around him. The berry bushes, the pine cones in the trees, even the red mushrooms that poked out of the ground. He also kept a keen eye on the path they were on. Though it was barely defined, he could see the outline of it clear as day. He never let his companions stray too far off the path.

They walked in silence, eyes locked ahead and blank looks on their faces. There was only a few hours of daylight left, and to be honest, Wilson thought he was afraid to be out in the dark.
