I'm back

not that it matters, nobody reads this anyways...

Rain.
Thunder.
Debris.

it all fell down around everywhere as Maddie and I ran from place to place around the half-destroyed city, trying to take cover and stay out of the path of the fighting monsters.

Suddenly, a shadow loomed over us, and I looked up to see Godzilla, about to crash down on top of us.

"Maddie! Run!" I yelled, and ushered her out of Godzilla's path as he slammed into the ground, kicking up rubble and dust. He rolled over onto his belly, and began to get back up, growling aggressively as his dorsal plates began to glow brighter.

"Come on, big guy..." I muttered.

Godzilla finally stood up and whipped around, ready to fire his atomic breath into Ghidorah's face.

but Ghidorah was faster.

A massive wing clapped the side of Godzilla's head, and a weak cough of atomic breath came out as Godzilla lost his charge. Ghidorah then took to the air as Godzilla recovered, before dive bombing and slamming Godzilla into the ground. He then dug his talons into Godzilla's sides, and he flapped his wings violently.

Then, slowly, Godzilla rose into the air, carried by Ghidorah.

"Impossible..." I said in awe.

Ghidorah rose higher, and higher, and higher into the air, until they were a speck in the distant heavens.

Then, one of those specks began to grow bigger, and caught fire, glowing orange and blue.

"Oh god." I said. "Maddie, run!"

Ghidorah had dropped Godzilla from the sky.

Godzilla hit the ground with a massive crack, and a bright blue explosion that sent a dust cloud through the air, knocking us to the ground.

BOSTON CITY

Everything hurts...

I rolled onto my side and strained my neck to check and see if my dorsal plates had shattered.

They were still intact.

"Thank god..." I sighed. "After MUTO Prime shattered my plates, I don't think they'd be able to grow back again."

The ground shook, and wingbeats drew my attention to Ghidorah, who had landed. His middle head cackled at me.

"Oh, how the mighty king has fallen." he mocked. "You were never strong enough to beat me. Not even without your extra power."

Suddenly, I felt a soft touch on my back, and four insect legs climbed over onto my side as I lay on the ground.

"Mothra..." I said weakly.

"Hang in there, Goji." she said soothingly, before turning to Ghidorah and spreading her wings over me protectively.

"Don't touch him!" She yelled.

"Your girlfriend won't be able to protect you forever," Ghidorah said. "She's weak. Just like you."

At that remark, Mothra took off, flying straight at Ghidorah.

"Mothra, no!" I shouted, reaching my hand out towards her uselessly.

Ghidorah reared his three necks into the air, and his throats began to crackle with electricity.

Then, in the briefest moment of quiet, Mothra's voice called out to me;

"Be seeing you, Goji..."

Then Ghidorah fired all three gravity beams at her, and she caught fire, before disintegrating into a blue mist, which slowly drifted towards me.

Her cry still echoed in my ears, and a single tear rolled down my cheek as her ashes rained down on me.
