Godzilla and Gojirin stepped out of the military transport, only to see Gypsy running up to them. They had been picked up outside the park, and drove straight back to Manhattan. It took them about 4 hours, which meant they only had 8 hours left to save Rodan's life, as well as the entire world if Clover got far enough. Gypsy knew exactly what the stakes were, which is why he appeared more frantic than he had earlier.
"Did you find Clover?" He asked. Godzilla nodded.
"Yeah." He said.
"And you got his blood?" He continued.
"Yeah, we did." Godzilla said. He gestured to Gojirin, who pulled out a vial of the creature's blood, and handed it to Godzilla. "It's not much, and there's a lot of contaminants in it," Godzilla explained, "but that's his blood."
"This is perfect." Gypsy said. He couldn't help but smile as he took the vial from Godzilla. "You just saved thousands of lives."
"No we haven't. Not yet." Godzilla said. The three began walking to the medical tent. "How long will it take to process the cure?"
"About 12 hours. Rodan will be the first test subject, and then we can develop a human cure based on that." Gypsy explained. As the entered the tent, he noticed something. His eyes narrowed as he eyed Godzilla in confusion.
"Wait a minute... what happened to Komodithrax?" He asked.
Godzilla's heart sank. He knew he'd have to answer this question eventually, and he was dreading it.
"I'll... explain later." He said. "First, we need to start processing a cure, now."
Gypsy nodded, but he was still confused. He agreed with Godzilla for now, and they continued on their way to the mobile lab that had been set up next to the tent. As they entered, they saw Crimson Typhoon, along with Anguirus and Radon. They all breathed a sigh of relief as they saw the others.
"They got it." Gypsy said, holding up the vial. He handed it to Crimson, who took it from him.
"I want you to start analyzing it and process a cure right away." Gypsy continued. "Get whatever you need, just do it."
Crimson nodded, and immediately began analyzing the blood under his microscope. Radon and Anguirus went over to Godzilla and the others.
"You guys saved the day again, huh?" Anguirus smirked.
"Yeah, I guess so." Godzilla replied. Radon suddenly hugged him tightly.
"Well you definitely saved Rodan." She beamed. "I'm gonna go tell him!"
Godzilla nodded, and she ran off towards Rodan's room. It was then that Anguirus noticed what Gypsy had noticed before.
"Hey, where's Komi?" He asked.
"I had the same question." Gypsy said.
Godzilla hesitated a moment, before turning to Gojirin. She was dreading this moment even more than Godzilla was. She breathed in deeply before speaking.
"I have a lot of explaining to do..." She muttered.

Radon smiled as she slid open the door to Rodan's tent. "Rodan, guess what!"
Rodan stirred awake from his sleep. He had only recently managed to get some sleep, and he wasn't exactly happy for Radon to wake him up like this.
"What?" He asked, coughing slightly. "Can't you let me die in peace?"
"You're not dying at all, at least not today." Radon said, sitting next to him on his bed. "Godzilla just got back, and he brought some of Clover's blood. We're getting you that cure!"
This caught Rodan's attention. He sat up slightly in his bed. "Really?" He asked.
"Really." Radon nodded. "But it's gonna take a while to process, so we're gonna need you to hold on until-"
Rodan suddenly shot up and hugged her tightly. She did the same, latching onto his shaky, frail form. Soon, he'd be back to the way he was before.
"Just keep holding on." She said. "You're gonna be just fine, okay?"
"Thank you." Rodan replied. Radon helped him lay back down on the bed. Judging by the look on his face, he was already feeling much better.
"Now get some rest." Radon said, beginning to leave the room. "We have a big day ahead of us tomorrow."
"Tomorrow sounds good." Rodan yawned, before drifting back into slumber. Radon smiled warmly. She loved him so much, and she was so happy that he was gonna be okay. With one final glance at his sleeping form, she left the room to let him get some rest.

"I see..." Gypsy muttered. Gojirin and Godzilla had just explained to him and the others what had happened to Komi.
"Clover told her to come here with an army of parasites." Godzilla explained. "But she was leaving on foot. It would take her a few days at most, but she's pretty fast."
"Then we have plenty of time to prepare." Gypsy said. "We already have military guarding entrances and exits of the city, but if they fail, I'll send in reinforcements to take her down."
Godzilla's brow furrowed. "Take her down?" He asked. "Excuse me, but it sounds like you want to kill her."
Gypsy looked down, as if he didn't want to say what he was about to say. "I'm sorry but if what you say is sure, Komi has become a category 6 Kaiju threat." He explains.
"The hell does that mean?" Gojirin asked, stepping in front of Godzilla. She had gone from concerned about Komi to anger at Gypsy.
"Every Kaiju threat is categorized by the Pan Pacific Defence Force." Gypsy explained. "Dr. Serizawa was the one who developed it. You two, along with most of Godzilla's buddies, would be category 1, meaning you pose no threat at the moment. Category 5 would include Kaiju like King Ghidorah or Slattern."
"So you're telling me Komi is more dangerous than Ghidorah?" Godzilla asked. Gojirin was also surprised, but not for the same reason as Godzilla. It had been a long time since she had heard Ghidorah's name. But she pushed the thought into the back of her mind while Gypsy explained himself.
"If she's joined forces with Clover, then yes." Gypsy explained. "Category 6 Kaiju like them are to be killed on sight."
"You're talking about killing my daughter, you bastard!" Gojirin shouted.
"You were the one who wanted to stop Clover in the first place." Gypsy shot back. "I'm sorry, but your daughter is now an accomplice to a threat against humanity. If you want to stop him, we have to kill her as well."
Suddenly, they heard a loud crash, accompanied by sparking and crackling, catching everyone's attention. Everybody looked up to see Godzilla ripping his fist out of a computer screen. He had punched it in his rage. Gypsy was speechless, even as Godzilla walked up to him angrily.
"You are not going to harm my sister." He growled. "And if you try, we'll stop you." But he didn't scare Gypsy.
"Going against the Pan Pacific Defense Force is a felony, Godzilla." He replied.
"Well then you'd better arrest us." Godzilla threatened. Nobody dared move, especially not Gypsy.
"That's what I thought." Godzila spat. Without another word, he and Gojirin left the room, slamming the door behind them. Crimson ran over to Gypsy.
"Should we go after them?" He asked.
"No... they won't get in our way. "Gypsy replied.
