Description: A short where Godzilla gets a Nintendo Switch.

Rodan burst into Godzilla and Mothra's tent, quickly followed by Anguirus. They were holding a box and wearing huge smiles on their faces.
"Godzilla, holy shit!" Rodan shouted. This woke Godzilla and Mothra from their slumber, and made Dogzilla poke his head up and wag his tail.
"Rodan, what the hell?" Godzilla muttered. "It's 2 in the morning."
"Yeah, we've been waiting outside Nintendo World all night." Anguirus said. "We've been up since yesterday morning."
"I've ingested so many energy drinks that I could probably power a lightbulb." Rodan laughed.
"...Uh huh..." Mothra said, raising a tired eyebrow. "And you were doing that why?"
"Because of this!" Rodan said, throwing the box onto the bed, where Dogzilla was sitting. He yelped and jumped off of the bed. Godzilla rolled his eyes and sat up, looking down at the box. When he saw what is was, he picked it up and held it up to his eyes.
"A Nintendo Switch?" He said.
"You stayed up all night waiting for a game console?" Mothra asked. "Where did you get the money to pay for it?"
"Actually, two." Rodan said, ignoring her second question. He held up another box with a picture of a Nintendo Switch on it. "I got this one for Anguirus and I. That one's for you guys."
"Oh... thanks." Mothra said. She didn't play video games, so she wasn't very excited about the Switch. Godzilla, however, was extremely excited. He was already opening the box and taking the machine out of its packaging. This model was had blue and red controllers rather than dark grey.
"This is awesome!" He said. "Mothra, let's hook this thing up to the TV right now!" Mothra furrowed her brow and took the Switch out of his hand.
"It's 2 in the morning!" She replied.
"Okay, fine." Godzilla huffed, taking the Switch back and putting it on his nightstand. He turned to Rodan and Anguirus. "You guys got any games for it?"
"Of course." Anguirus said, holding up the boxes for "Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild" and "1-2 Switch", two launch games for the Switch.
"But we've been up for 42 hours straight, so I'm gonna go to bed now." Rodan said. Immediately afterwords, he collapsed onto the ground and passed out.
"Yeah, me too." Anguirus agreed. He passed out as well. Mothra sighed angrily as she looked at the two sleeping on the floor of her tent.
"Great. Well, I'm going back to sleep." She said. She laid her head back down on her pillow, but noticed a bright light coming from Godzilla's side of the bed. She looked over only to see him playing with the Switch in handheld mode. He had set it up quickly, and was now playing Breath of the Wild.
"Godzilla!" Mothra yelled. Godzilla looked over at her.
"Sorry." He said. Rather than turning the game off, he simply turned down the brightness. Mothra groaned in frustration and pressed her head into the pillow.

(Author's Note: I wrote this little short so that I could get over the pain of not owning a Nintendo Switch yet. I really want a Nintendo Switch.)
