Christmas Special: Naughty Or Nice?

"Hunter~"

Hunter opened one of his eyes to see a Santa hat on the dresser.

He smirked, he knew Operetta loved Christmas more than any other holiday. He walked out of his room to see Operetta cooking.

She had on a beautiful Christmas Santa dress with a hood and cape. Gods...why does she look so hot in that... Hunter licked his lips.

"Well well well, looks like your mate really loves Christmas." Brazzan chuckled. "No kidding." Hunter came up behind Operetta, wrapping his arms around Operetta.

"Morning my Santa baby," Hunter whispered. "Morning, Hunter" Operetta kissed Hunter's cheeks "Merry Christmas"

"So, is this my gift," Hunter asked, referring Operetta's outfit "cause if it is, Operetta I fricken love you"

"It's one of your presents. You'll get the other ones after the party." Operetta slipped out of her demon's arms.

"Party?" Hunter then facepalmed, "do we really have to go to my father's Christmas party?" Hunter groaned.

"Yes. He doesn't know we're dating, this party is the best opportunity to tell them." Operetta said, sitting at the table with Hunter.

"But we can just stay here," he leaned into Operetta's ear "have our own little Christmas party" Hunter nibbled on her ear.

"Hu-Hunter" She eeped, Hunter's hands ran up to her chest. Operetta turned around and kissed Hunter, her hands weaving thru his hair.

"Oh Hunter~" she moaned thru his lips "rock my world"

She wrapped her legs around Hunter's waist, the two began french kissing.

She smirked as she broke the kiss, Hunter looked at her confused.

"Just a little preview for tonight." She winked, walking back to her room.

"She's gonna be the death of me..."

Later that day, Operetta and Hunter reached Gaston and Farrah's cottage. "Just to warn you, my family, they're a little weird," Hunter warned.

"They can't be that bad." Operetta knocked on the door, it soon opened to reveal Farrah. "Hunter!" Farrah tackled her son in a strong hug.

"Hey mom" Hunter hugged her back, Hunter's always had a great relationship with his mom. She was like his hero.

She raised Hunter all on her own. Going thru all the stress of being a single parent made Farrah a hero in Hunter's eyes.

"Oh! You must be Operetta!" Farrah hugged Operetta tightly. "Oh...you're a hugger." Operetta chuckled.

"Thank you" Farrah whispered. "For?" Operetta questioned. "For taking care of my son," Farrah replied, Operetta smiled, hugging her back.

"You must be freezing. Come inside." Farrah insisted, the tree entering the house to see it was filled with family.

The house is equipped with a large kitchen and two modern bathrooms, it also has a large living room, four bedrooms, a grand dining room, and a grand basement.

The building is square shaped. The house is partially surrounded by a covered patio on two sides.

The second floor is bigger than the first, which creates several overhanging parts on one side of the house.

This floor has a slightly different style than the floor below.

The roof is low, triangular and layered and is covered with seagrass. There are no chimneys.

Large, skylight windows let in plenty of light to the rooms below the roof.

"All of them are your family?" Operetta was still shocked. "Yeah, told you there was a lot of them." Hunter chuckled as he began introducing her to everyone.

"Operetta, this is my aunt Faybelle and her husband Zephron." Hunter introduced. "So this is the girl Hunter's been raving about." Zephron chuckled, shaking Operetta's hand.

"Hunter's told us so much about you." Faybelle flew around Operetta.

"Same here, I can't believe you got to go to the dragon islands. What is it like?" Operetta inquired.

"It's truly amazing! Their island is nothing like you've ever seen before!" Faybelle eyes sparkled as the two continued to talk about to the Dragon Islands.

"So" Zephron sat next to Hunter at the bar "have you two done it yet?" Zephron questioned, Hunter began coughing up his beer.

"Zephron!" Hunter scolded. "It's an innocent question, kid." Zephron shrugged. "That was no an "innocent question"!" Hunter scolded once more.

"And for your information, we have." Hunter nodded slightly, taking another sip of his beer. "Dattaboy Hunter!" Zephron slapped Hunter on the back, making him lunge forward a bit.

"You did it with Operetta?!" Farrah came up from behind the bar counter, cleaning glasses, spooking her son a bit.

"Yes, now will you two keep your voice down! Operetta doesn't want to tell people till the end of the night." Hunter informed them.

"My lips are sealed." Zephron and Farrah nodded. "You should tell your father though" Farrah placed her hand on Hunter's "he has a right to know about you two"

"Let's get one thing straight" Hunter chugged down his beer, slamming the mug on the bar counter "I will never acknowledge that man as my father"

"That man left you for 19 years. He has no right to come back into my life, let alone know about Operetta." Hunter grunted, taking another swig "I honestly don't know how you forgave him, mom."

"Your father isn't that bad Hunter," Zephron rested his hand on his shoulder "if it weren't for him, I wouldn't have told Faybelle how I felt about her" Zephron then picked up a small baby with fair skin, black hair and green eyes.

"And this little cutie wouldn't have been born." Zephron smiled. "I still don't trust him," Hunter grunted.

"We know, but he at least needs to meet Operetta," Farrah said as Hunter shook his head. "Gaston will only make it worse" Hunter sighed.

"He's your father Hunter and you won't even call him dad!" Zephron stated. "That's because Gaston, a man who was never a dad in my eyes, to begin with, decided to leave me and my mom." Hunter clenched the handle of the cup.

"You should still talk to him," Farrah suggested, "he's in the mountains"

"Still not gonna go see him," Hunter stated. "Farrah!" a familiar voice yelled. "Gaston! You're back!" Farrah hugged Gaston tightly.

The glass in Hunter's hand shattered, he walked over to Operetta and sat next to him, putting Operetta on his lap.

"Hu-Hun-Hunter!" Operetta stammered, Hunter just growled, nuzzling his face in Operetta's neck.

Hunter and Gaston glared at each other, their eyes saying they wanted to kill each other.

As the party went on, Hunter and Gaston occasionally glared at each other.

"Damn prick," Gaston growled. "Gaston!" Farrah slapped him upside the head "you can't call your son names like that!"

"The heck I can't, he's the one who started it." Gaston pouted. "Gaston, he's your son, you need to make things right," Farrah told him.

"I don't wanna." Gaston's pout continued. "Hey, if you make things right. I'll give you your Christmas present right now." Farrah whispered the last part in his ear.

"We can go all night long, like when we were younger." she continued to whisper.

Gaston smirked "Hey Hunter! I'm sorry, blah, blah, blah. 'K, let's go, Farrah." Gaston grabbed Farrah's hand.

Farrah then stopped him, glaring at Gaston, sending shivers down his spine.

"Fix things with your son, or gods help me, I will throw your ass outside so fucking quickly it'll make your head spin."

Gaston nodded quickly as he stood in front of Hunter.

"Hunter."

"Gaston."

"I'm your father, you will not call me by my first name," Gaston said as Hunter sighed, standing up.

"Not in my mind." Hunter scoffed, Gaston's eyes locked with Operetta.

"Gaston LeGume, nice to finally meet you Operetta." Gaston shook Operetta's hand.

Hunter growled and slapped Gaston's hand away. "Why are you here?"

"I can't come to my own party? Don't forget short fry, I invited you." Gaston reminded him.

"Oh please, you couldn't give a shit if I were here or not." Hunter rolled his eyes. "You didn't give a shit when I was born either! Why would you know? Huh?"
Gaston scrunched up his fist.

"I bet you don't even care about mom either!" Hunter scolded. Gaston grabbed Hunter's neck and pinned him to the wall.

"I do care about your mom! More than anything in this world!" Gaston scolded. "You think I wanted to leave you and your mom?! You think I wanted to be trapped in your mind for 19 years?!"

"I haven't seen you or your mother in 19 years! You think I'm happy about that?! You think I can ever forgive myself after that?! You don't think I have a mountain worth of self-affected pain and doubt that have?!"

"The entire time I was locked in your mind all I kept thinking about was Farrah's smiling face and you! All I wanted to do was hold you two in my arms!"

"You may not know this Hunter, but I've loved you since the day you were born! I've blamed myself for years for not being there for my son. I left the best wife ever and my own son!"

"If you felt like this then why didn't you tell me sooner?!" Hunter shot back.

"You saw me at my worst and didn't do shit! Why couldn't you just send me a sign?! One measly little sign that showed that you were watching over me!" Hunter glared at him.

"When I was little, I saw kids with their dads, playing catch, going to baseball games, learning how to ride a bike. And I wanted that. I wanted to be those kids!" Hunter's eyes welled up with tears.

"But I never got that. I never got to have a dad! I had a mom, and believe me I'm grateful for her, but I've always wanted that white picket fence family!"

"Why couldn't you have sent me that sign! Maybe I wouldn't have ended up as I did!" Hunter felt tears on his cheeks.

"Operetta! Will you just tell him!" Gaston yelled Hunter looked at her. "Tell me what?" Hunter asked Operetta, who took a deep breath in and out.

"Remeber when I "died"?" Operetta started. "How could I forget," Hunter muttered, he hated remembering that time.

"Gaston revived me, he said he didn't want you to live life without me. He knew how much I meant to you. He didn't want you to go thru the pain he was trying to spare you of."
"What...?" Hunter was shocked, he never thought the reason Operetta got revived was because of his father.

"You wanted your sign kid. There's your sign." Gaston poured himself a beer. Hunter ran up to Gaston and hugged him tightly.

"Thank you...dad." Hunter sobbed. "You're welcome, kid." Gaston hugged him back, Hunter kept sobbing.

He wasn't prone to crying but he just couldn't stop at the moment. "Since we're telling the truth, there's something I should tell you." Hunter wiped his tears.

"Operetta and I have been dating for a while now. Sorry, we didn't tell you." Hunter chuckled. "Oh, I knew" Gaston took a sip of his beer "remember, Brazzan was my demon too, he tells me everything" Gaston wiggled his eyebrow.

"E-Eve-Everything?!" Both Hunter and Operetta stammered. Gaston chuckled as placed his empty beer mug on the counter.

"Wait! By everything you mean-" Operetta prayed to the gods Gaston didn't know her secret. She wasn't ready to tell Hunter yet.

"Yep. I know." Gaston smirked, sitting next to Operetta. "But Hunter doesn't. Brazzan promised me not to tell Hunter. He knows you wanna keep it a surprise."

"But you should tell him soon, you are starting to show a little." Gaston and Operetta looked at Hunter arm wrestling with Faybelle, ultimately losing.

"You're his Christmas miracle Operetta. He deserves to know about the other miracle as well." Gaston walked off.

Operetta looked down and smiled. I guess we are Hunter's Christmas miracles.
