Blue felt a gentle shake. He grumbled a bit, tried to snuggle deeper into his bed, only to be shaken again, more urgently this time. Blue stirred and propped himself on his elbows, coming face to face with bright purple and yellow eyes, quiet sniffles coming from one of the twins. "cici had a bad dweam.." Lumine said in her small voice, rubbing her sister's back. Blue knew that while LuLu was like her father in the respect of making others around her feel happy, CiCi's negative magic canceled that affect from working on her, thus why Lumine brought Cimmarian to him. "You want to sleep with me tonight to keep away the big bad things?" Blue offered. Cimmarian nodded slowly. "Yes pease.." Blue opened his blanket for both little girls to under the covers with him. They nestled onto the right side and snuggled into each other as Blue covered the cuties up with a loving smile. He joined the cuddle pile pretty quickly, watching to make sure CiCi was sleeping better. LuLu also seemed very content, though she didn't have nightmares nearly as much as CiCi. When he was sure his three year Olds were ok, he fell back asleep himself.

Blue frowned upon seeing Cimmarian alone while Lumine talked with others. It was their first day of preschool and it seemed that being Nightmare's twin was already impacting Cimmarian. Blue was about to step in and suggest letting CiCi join in their fun and games, Lumine stepped back. "i'm not gunna weave my sissy behind. you go." The little positivity Skeleton promptly turned around and walked over to her sister. "I'm sorry.." Cimmarian apologized for no particular reason, though she felt as though she was the blame for... something. "heh heh! what for, silly? i'd rather play with you!" Cimmarian gave Lumine a small smile. "Let's make you a pretty flower crown to match your pretty flower dress?" Cimmarian suggested to which Lumine nodded eagerly. "and one to match your leaf dress!" The girls ran further into the schoolyard. Blue smiled with relief. It wouldn't be the same as it was with Dream and Nightmare. Lumine would choose her sister over others. That was good, because they couldn't get too attached to this place. Blue was going to get them to Dreamtale where Blue would help the girls do what their fathers couldn't. They weren't alone.

"LuLu, CiCi." Blue called to his girls as weaved the flowers they'd picked at school that day. Purple, yellow, white, blue, and red flower crowns rested on their heads as they came to their mother's summons. Cimmarian quickly climbed up and dumped a flower crown on Blue's head. He giggled before pulling Lumine up with them. "Girls, I want to tell you now. We will not be staying here. I'm bringing you to a special place called Dreamtale. The girls looked to their mama in confusion. "why?" Lumine asked. "I'm sure you've noticed by now. You're special, like your daddy's. You balance each other, and the world needs that balance. My hope is that Dreamtale will help you with this task. Of course, I'll be there every step of the way as well." Blue promised. "I... don't understand.." Blue nodded in understanding. "Well, you're still young, but please trust me when I say you will understand one day." Lumine hugged Blue. "we will always trust you, mama." Blue smiled and wrapped an arm around her. "You won't leave us... right..?"
"I will never leave you as long as I live." Blue promised Cimmarian. She smiled and hugged Blue AND Lumine. Lumine giggled and tried to do the same.
