Dick P.O.V.

We walked out of the room leaving out adoptive parents behind us. Roy and I had left Wally and Kladur behind. Bruce had told me about the whole Watchtowerthing after I confronted him about it, Oliver had just told Roy about it with no prompting. It was hard to see their relationship doing so well while mine was so poor. 

When you're only human you have to work harder to match up to superpowers around you. Roy and I found a place to stay and meet up after we gathered stuff from our respective houses. It was going to be hard but since when was being a hero ever easy?

Roy had come up with a new name and a more mature uniform. He was Red Arrow while I was Renegade with a black skintight uniform with red across the chest and down the arms. Thre was no cape making there more access for perverted criminals, I had to learn that the hard way. Roy went a little overboard kicking ass that night in Steel City.

Kid Flash and Aqualad came up behind us one night when we were fighting some drug trade group and saw when one pushed me to the ground and gripped my thigh. I kicked him in the chest and did a spin kick sending him flying into one of the trucks. Wally or Kid Flash came running over to me asking me to join the team or something like that.

"You have fun with your little league play dates, I need to real stimulation and a real man sorry Walls you just don't cut it anymore, "I said pulling out my grappling hook and swinging away. 

I knew it was a dick move considering that Roy and Wally were close friends before the whole Hall of Justice thing and that Wally and I had dated. I didn't have a choice in the matter though, they were the ones that made the wrong choice. We were right and they were wrong that was all there was to it.

Roy P.O.V.

Kaldur was always careful when approaching what one would consider a wounded animal. That was most accurate to describe me at the moment.

"My friend, my once lover, we have started a team and I hope that you will reconsider the whole duo thing and join a team that can give you back up," Kaldur said not realizing the hurt in those words.

"What so just because Renegade and I don't have powers means that we can't protect ourselves, good going Kaldur, fuck you and your team. I have a boyfriend to get back to," I said shooting an arrow and swinging away.

"Tell me you told Wally, I don't want to feel like the only jerk on this rooftop right now," I said to Dick taking his gloved hand in mine.

"Of course I told him Roy," Dick said pulling his hand out of mine and reaching up to my face pulling me in. Kissing someone was always better when you know that they would do anything for you.
