"So you smashed our prophecy. Harry Potter thwarts me again."

Voldemort began to circle around the teens, twirling his wand casually which Robyn found the most alarming. She would have much preferred if he was pointing his wand directly at her. At least that way, she knew what was coming. She was sure the calmer he acted, the more reckless and dangerous he was.

His eyes followed Harry, he didn't even give Robyn a second glance.

"Master . . . he's here . . . below . . ." Bellatrix stumbled, her cold demeanor crumbling to the floor almost as fast as she did.

"Silence Bella!" Voldemort hissed, his red eyes still staring intently at Harry.

Harry heart was beating wildly. Fear was coursing through his veins and the Dark Lord's voice sent a shiver through his body, chilling him to his very bones as though he had been hit with ice cold water.

Harry held his wand tightly in one hand, although he knew he was no match for the monster standing in front of him and with his other hand, he found Robyn's slightly clammy one and forced her behind him, shielding her with his own body.

If Voldemort had noticed this gesture, he chose to ignore it. "You have slipped through my fingers too many times. You have stood in my way for so long now I think of nothing else. I can barely remember a time when you haven't lurked in my mind. I have nothing left to say to you, Harry Potter! AVADA KEDAVRA!"

Harry closed his eyes as Tom raised his wand and stood fully in front of Robyn, prepared to take the full blow.

He saw green light through his eye lids, glowing eerily and knew it was a matter of seconds before he would no longer be in the realm of living.

He heard Robyn's scream echoing in his ears but he saw no point trying to reassure her that it was all going to be okay. Nothing would ever be okay as long as the monster in front of them lived.

Seconds went by and Harry was starting to get confused. He had not been hit yet. He was sure he was still alive. He could feel his mind racing with questions. His pulse was beating loudly in his chest and ears. He dared to open his eyes and was surprised to see a giant golden wizard statue spring to life, jumping in front of Harry and Robyn, taking the blow of the Killing Curse harmlessly.

Bellatrix suddenly let out an ear splitting scream, almost as loud as her cackle. A golden witch statue had jumped down, taking Bellatrix's wand and pinning the Death Eater to the floor.

Shock momentarily crossed Voldemort's inhuman features and he muttered; "Dumbledore."

Anger flashed dangerously across his eyes and Tom turned around and there stood Albus Dumbledore.

The two powerful wizards stared at eachother. Voldemort didn't dare remove his eyes from Dumbledore.

"It was foolish of you to come here tonight, Tom. The Aurors are on their way." Dumbledore said, his demeanour quite calm.

Voldemort eyes flashed. "By that time I will be gone, and you dead!"

Voldemort shot a green jet at Dumbledore. Dumbledore simply turned his head slightly as the startling green jet missed by an inch and hit the back wall.

Dumbledore walked forward, as if he hadn't a care in the world. Voldemort stood at the ready, wand raised, and a slight hint of fear in his gaze.

Dumbledore poised his wand and a blinding silver light shot out like lightning. Voldemort held out his free hand and a five foot black shield appeared out of thin air, taking Dumbledore's blast.

While Voldemort's attention was upon Albus, Harry dragged Robyn behind a black tiled wall and watched her, concern etching his face.

"Are you okay?" He asked her, his green eyes boring into hers.

Robyn gave a shaky nod.

"What happened before must have been Voldemort. He had planned this. He knew it would happen." Harry had been talking more to himself than Robyn, trying to make sense of it all but at Harry's words, Robyn's heart dropped and she was plunged into ice cold fear. She knew what Harry was hinting towards. She knew he was talking about when she attacked them. But it couldn't have been Voldemort, could it? They would have noticed if he was in the room with them, wouldn't they?

"Harry," Robyn whimpered. She had to tell him. Had to tell them all. "I'm scared..."

Suddenly, she was wrapped in a hug that momentarily made her forget her fear and her worries. "Its okay," Harry whispered to her. "Dumbledore's here now."

"No, you don't understand. Someone-" But she didn't get to finish.

Dumbledore was making his way towards Voldemort, his arms behind his back.

"You don't seek to kill, Dumbledore." Voldemort said, a hint of amusement in his cold hiss.

"You and I both know there are worse ways of destroying a man than death, Tom." Dumbledore said, his voice forceful and full of power.

Voldemort's red eyes narrowed, making him look even more snake-like. "There's nothing worse than death."

Dumbledore smiled. "Once again you are quite wrong."

Voldemort shot another jet green blast. This time the spell went soaring directly at Dumbledore's chest. Dumbledore calmly sliced his wand downward as the curse was about to hit him and the curse Voldemort sent shattered into two different pieces flying harmlessly away in opposite directions.

Dumbledore raised his wand again and flicked it as a long burning whip appeared at the tip of his wand that was more than thirty feet long. With a snap, the burning end of the whip had hit into Voldemort's black shield. A dark crack appeared in what seemed to be an unbreakable shield.

Voldemort fell backwards as Dumbledore snapped the whip again. It slashed across the shield again, slashing deeper this time. Dumbledore raised his arm, throwing real strength as he cracked the burning whip a third time. This time the snap shattered the black shield into a dozen broken burning pieces.

With another snap of his wrist, the burning whip wrapped around Voldemort. Voldemort's hands were tied to his side. His eyes narrowed, staring at Dumbledore.

The burning rope suddenly turned into a snake and fell to the floor. Voldemort was free. Dumbledore lunged his wand forward and shot a giant silver blast at Voldemort.

Voldemort disappeared just as the spell was about to engulf him.

Harry looked at Robyn, and smiled reassuringly. "I'm going to go and help him."

Robyn's eyes snapped up to her boyfriend. She tried to look stern but knew she just looked downright scared. "No!"

"I'll be fine. I'll be with Dumbledore."

"Harry-"

As if Albus sensed Harry was about to do something very brave but very stupid, he called; "Harry, stay where you are." And the authority in Dumbledore's voice left no room for Harry to argue.

Robyn heaved a sigh of relief and to keep her mind at rest, grabbed Harry's hand and held on tight. She knew Dumbledore could handle himself perfectly well. She didn't want to risk seeing another death. Robyn shook her head at the thought, blinking away tears.

Voldemort reappeared next to the water fountain. Dumbledore flicked his wand and the water from the fountain rose up and surrounded Voldemort in a giant water ball.

Dumbledore began to move his wand around and the water followed it's movements, sending Voldemort tumbling about in the water, spluttering.

Dumbledore lowered his wand and the water fell at once, hitting the ground and splashing with force. Tom fell with it but before he could hit the floor, he disappeared.

Dumbledore, still looking shockingly calm, spun around, his startling blue eyes searching the room.

Robyn poked her head out from behind the wall and looked for Voldemort but only silence met them. A sense of foreboding surrounded them all.

Suddenly, the silence was broken by Harry's screams. His knees buckled under him and his hand clutched his scar and he felt as if a white-hot iron was being pressed against it.

"Harry!" Robyn gasped, falling to her knees beside him and watching him with fear.

She turned to Dumbledore. "What's happening to him?!"

Dumbledore watched Harry and walked slowly over to him. "Help him!" Robyn cried out.

Abruptly, as Robyn turned back to Harry, his emerald green eyes had been replaced by blood red ones.

A look of horror and sadness crossed Dumbledore's face and Robyn felt tears spring to her eyes as they watched Harry struggle and convulse in pain.

"KILL ME, DUMBLEDORE. KILL ME. END IT. IF DEATH IS NOTHING END IT. KILL THE BOY. KILL US!" Harry hissed but it wasn't just his voice. Voldemort's cold voice was echoing through aswell.

Harry's eyes met Robyn's and they suddenly flashed green before turning back to red. He gave a grunt of pain. "And then I can be with Sirius . . ." Harry's body suddenly fell limp and he lay unconscious.

Time seemed to go in a blur as the Aurors and Ministry workers piled into the room, looks of fear and shock on their faces. They all gave a gasp of disbelief as they saw Voldemort disappearing.

Robyn, took a shaky breath and waited for Harry to wake up again.

It didn't take long though and Harry's eyes fluttered open groggily. It took him a while to remember what had happened and he felt his body go numb; Sirius.

"Harry, are you alright?" Dumbledore asked, his voice kind and calm and his eyes bright and examining.

Feeling words would fail him, Harry simply nodded.

This seemed to satisfy Dumbledore though as he turned to the group of Ministry workers and Minister still looking as shocked and speechless as ever.

"Sir, I swear I saw him. I saw You-Know-Who! He grabbed a witch and disappeared. I swear it." One of the smartly dressed people said to a gaping and terrified Fudge.

Fudge gulped and nodded. "I know Williamson. I saw him too. My God he was actually here. Of all the places..."

"If you proceed downstairs to the Department of Mysteries, you will find certain escaped Death Eaters along with a few reformed ones bound by an Anti-Disapparation Jinx awaiting your decision what to do with them."

At the sound of Dumbledore's voice, Fudge spun around, possibly even more shocked.

"Dumbledore . . . You? Williamson. Go!" Fudge stuttered out and the worker that had spoken earlier; Williamson, rushed off downstairs.

"What happened?" Fudge asked, taking off his green bowler hat and placing it in between his arm, looking almost comical with the mixture of fear, shock and amazement on his face.

"I would think that obvious considering what you saw with your own eyes." Dumbledore said in a tone slightly colder than when he was addressing Harry.

"Dumbledore. Tell me everything."

"In due time. Once Harry and Robyn are back at school and safe."

Fudge only just seemed to notice Harry and Robyn standing next to Dumbledore and did a double take.

"Harry Potter?" Fudge said, looking astonished.

Dumbledore seized a broken peice of the gleaming gold Brethren statue and started tapping it with his wand.

Fudge turned back to Dumbledore looking angry and flustered. "Now see here, Dumbledore, you are not authorized to make that Port-Key. Especially here in the -"

Dumbledore held up his hand to silence the babbling Minister. Power was radiating from him again and in that moment, Robyn thought her Headmaster looked quite scary.

"Cornelius, you will now listen! You will give the order to remove Dolores Umbridge from Hogwarts! You will stop hunting for my Care of Magic Creatures Professor! You will alert the Daily Prophet of Voldemort's actions here tonight. And you will give medical attention to my students, new and old, below! I will return in a short time. Letters addressed to the Headmaster of Hogwarts will reach me!"

Fudge simply stood there too stunned to speak.

Dumbledore turned to Harry and Robyn, holding out the Port-Key. "Ready, Harry? Robyn?"

Both Harry and Robyn grabbed the Portkey and Robyn grabbed Harry's free hand, giving it a small squeeze.

Dumbledore smiled at them. "One, two, three . . ."

And suddenly the world around them was spinning...

(So sorry this is so late. I apologise. I just had a lot of work to do and still do. Like I don't even have a social life anymore. I love college but the work load is beyond ridiculous. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. Until next time. ..)
