What did you expect when you entered the contest?

-->I'm not really sure, to be honest. I don't think I expected very much. I certainly wasn't expecting my book to win its category. (:

Alright, so did you think you would win?

-->Not at all. It was a pleasant surprise. (:

Okay, what you made you enter the contest?

-->I was really just hoping to put my book out there and get some recognition for it, as it hasn't really had much views.

Great, how did you handle writer's block?

-->Writer's block is a struggle that I face constantly. It usually comes in waves where I can't seem to focus on the book that I'm working on, or I've completely lost inspiration for it, which is the one I struggle with the most. I usually find that stepping away from the book to clear my mind will help me past it in both cases. I usually do other things that'll help with my inspiration, usually reading, listening to music, or even watching tv. Anything really that tells a story. Reading/watching/or listening to other people's stories helps me a lot.

That's good, what will you do now that you've won?

-->My main goal is to finish my book. Then, after that, we'll see. I might just start a new book, or I'll continue editing a book I had taken down from my account. I haven't really decided yet.

Did anyone inspired you to write this?

-->Not really. I mostly find my inspiration in reading other's works or watching Teen Wolf (my book's fandom) or other shows.

How does it feels to win?

-->It's such an honor to have been chosen as the winner and I am very grateful to the judge that decided my book was worthy enough to win, and I am also grateful to the host of the awards for giving this amazing opportunity.

Great! Anything to say to those who didn't win?

-->I'd just like to say never give up! There will be other opportunities. You may have not won this time, but that doesn't mean that you should quit trying. Don't lose confidence, and always remember to stay positive. (:

Alright! In three words, tell us how you feel:

-->Excited, overzealous, inspired.

Great! When did you first realized you wanted to be a writer?

-->That's kind of a hard question to answer. I never really realized anything. I just sort of thought one day that I'd give writing a shot to see if I could do it. Time frame wise, I wrote my first book a year or two ago, but in retrospect, I've sort of been planning stories out in my head for as long as I can remember. I guess I'm saying that I've always wanted to be a writer, without realizing that it was what I wanted to do until I wrote my first book, if that makes any sense at all.

That's good! On a typical day, how much time do you spend writing?

-->It depends. Lately I've been too busy and stressed to do much writing, but when my schedule and mind are clear, I like to spend at least an hour or so a day.
