Hana felt numb. 

Her heart had gotten used to the pain. Her face was wet with salty tears. 

Her mind just couldn't wrap around the fact that Jimin was no longer around.

She lived in her bed. She hadn't seen the sun for about two weeks.

How did I become like this?

Life used to be so good to her. Those memories she made during the summer were her happiest. 

She would wake up in Jimin's bed, walk to work with him, get lunch with him, take a walk in the park after work and then head to his house for the night.

Life was so beautiful back then. 

But now her mind was frozen. Her body ached, heart in pieces like glass on the floor.

Seems like just yesterday they had visited Jimin's mother's garden. She had seen all those lilacs.

Hana's vision shifted towards the vase of lilacs on her table. The vase that used to hold daisies.

She loved lilacs. She loved them because of him.

And now she rested on a bed of lilacs. The vivid purple filling her vision. The strong scent blurring her senses. She felt suffocated.

There was nothing she could do about it.

Jimin never left his practice room.

For the past few weeks, he seemed to spend more time practicing rather than being at home, where he should be.

Where someone was waiting for him.

No, he didn't want to go back yet. He turned on the beat for the hundredth time and followed the same mundane routine.

The choreography was fixed in his head by now, but he still practiced like he needed it.

He didn't know why. He didn't want to explain anything to himself as of now.

The just wanted to dance. Jimin wanted to feel the music running through his system.

This was his way of escaping reality. He found comfort even if it was for the slightest second through the movement of his body.

He didn't have to worry about the world.

And he didn't have to worry about the gnawing feeling in his stomach.
