In the lunch room, it was crowded by older kids. Since David didn't know where to sit, he followed Chloe to where to sit. She finally sat at a table and ate an apple. David sat with her and eventually so did Benjamin and Celine. "Oh my god, in class Miss Jackson was being a pain in the ass." Chloe said. "Well she is a teacher so of course she'll give us a pain in the ass!" Ceen pointed out. David sat there quietly, eating jello. Then a girl with blonde hair came at the table the four of them were sitting at. "HELLO FRENS!" she exclaimed while her face intensely vibrated. Chloe and Ceen were laughing for a few minutes and managed to finally speak. "Hey, Lilian." Chloe said. "WHO IS THIS LILIAN YOU SPEAK OF? CALL ME CINNAMOM!" Lilian said.
After having a good laugh and almost dying, everyone finished their lunches and headed back outside for more recess. Since David didn't know what was going on, he followed everyone else. Ceen, Chloe, Lilian and Benjamin were at their red house spot where they usually are at extra recess. "So then on Instagram I'm just getting frickin spammed with notifications. Speaking of which..." Chloe looked at her phone when she wasn't supposed to and hid it again. David looked at where they were and went to the red house. He Olympic sprinted towards them and panted as soon as he got to the red house.
Chloe looked at David. "You need water or at least somethin' to keep your energy going?" she asked. David nodded. Ceen gave him an extra Gatorade she had. "It's on the house," she said. David didn't care, he just needed a drink so he chugged the Gatorade until the bottle was finished. He threw the bottle away. "CHUGGED AND LOADED!" David blurted out. Chloe, Lilian, Ceen, and Benjamin all bursted out laughing. It was in that moment David had realized, it was only his first day at Whitson Academy and already made some friends.
