S- I wasn't there with you just for 2 days and look what you've done to yourself ,hmm?

Shivaay was very much scared after witnessing her in this state . Separating all her locks off her face , he kept his thumb to graze over her skin smoothly while she had herself leant on him completely. Annika hardly listened as her mind was still caught up with Adi and Charu .

S- what did the doctor say ? Are you hurt somewhere else ? Annika why is it so hard for you to take care of yourself !

He grew more worried noticing the dressing done on her hand , over the palm. And she on the other side , cuddled to hold him close and remained numb . This brought more fear in him.

S-  Chalo mere saath let's go to the hospital , why do you always keep things from me annika ? Kuch bi nahi bathaya tumne kal , teek hai chod , ab kaisi ho ? Bahut dard ho rahi hai ... annika 

He shook her slightly when there was no response and only then she slowly looked at him with those red puffy eyes . And his eyes already turned wet after witnessing that . He could actually sense what she felt , the way those eyes kept struggling in irritation,  shivaay noticed it's vulnerability from close and went insane .

S- you could have just rested at home right , I would have talked to charu . Tumhe pareshaan karke muje kyun pareshaan karthi ho ani! I'm talking to you .

Annika was about to say something and that's when someone knocked the door. It was a staff .

' Excuse me man ?'

A- please come in .

' Mam aapke liye khaana '

She nodded when he insisted holding a plate ,he placed it on the table near her and left . Annika noticed a small chit stuck below the plate and took it .

S- chalogi  ya nahi mere saath  ?

Shivaay who payed no attention to anything but her, questioned , and she just shook her head slightly with her smile and sight directly pointed to the words written on the paper.

' Chose the menu and didn't even do the honors yet ,  lo have your favs aur phir so jao ,  btw sorry haan. I reacted stupidly , maaf kijiye annikaji'

S- annika

Shivaay sighed in defeat .

A- I'm hungry.

She lied , some calmness surrounded her as soon as she read the content and she very well knew from whom it came . Adi is just like her , he can never upset the people he loves. Now she felt kind of fine and didn't want to let go of his token of love which he had prepared for her with all his care .

Shivaay did read her face and learned that something was bothering her.  He didn't choose to dig it up now and started feeding her quietly. 

The function was over soon,  though they had some really good time Adi and Charu somewhere couldn't feel completely content as they both missed their best friends alot.
Charu decided to forget everything which happened and went to check on annika only to get baffled again . She found shivaay alongside annika in the room . It seemed like they were leaving .

C- shivaay

She called his name in  a much quizzical tone while shivaay showed his casual smile immediately. 

S- hey charu .

C- I didn't know you were here .

S- yeah sorry yaar .

Immediately annika nudged his shoulders and murmured something.

A- I had asked you to go see her first

He just shrugged it off and started talking to Charu .

S- where's Adi by the way ?

C- is this some kind of revenge game your playing annika ?

Annika shook her head silently as charu spat these words . Shivaay was totally confused though.

S- what's the meaning of this ?

Annika straightaway went and held charu's hands .

A- charu , I'm really sorry . I shouldn't have spoke to you like that .

C - I don't want your sorry , kuch bi bolke sorry mangungi and I should just let it go ?

When charu carelessly wriggled off her hands shivaay rushed to handle annika as her wounds were still fresh . He looked at her worriedly but she on the other side kept watching charu with teary eyes . In no time he sensed that the tension between these two was once again on .

S- charu , she's wounded , don't forget it .

C - now you don't have to tell me how to behave with my sister shivaay .

A-  don't shout at him , mujse baath kar.

C- nahi mein tho selfish hoon na , why would you talk to me ?

S- what's happening here ?

A- charu I'm sorry . Sorry.

Annika herself didn't know why she started crying . After seeing how offended charu looked , she could just think of how badly her behaviour had hurt her . Shivaay on the other side was getting restless on seeing all this .

S- charu say something,  deko vo bachi ki tarah ro rahi hai .

Charu just walked till her and  pressed the tissue on her face and wiped those tears carefully .

C- ro mat , it's ok I can take this . Vaise bi bachpan se yahi karthe aarahi ho tum . Playing victim.Then it was papa , now it's shivaay .

Annika shook her head leaving a deep sigh. Shivaay could no longer stay quiet .

S - you both will never change will you ?

C- shivaay it's between annika and me , you're not our brother . So don't act like you know everything .

S- you both don't need a brother in between rather a sensible person is what you desperately need  . Kyunki tum dono stupid ho .

A- shivaay please ...! You don't know what happened.

She tried to hold his hand but he quickly moved away .

S- vahi please !  I don't even want to know .I'm tired of doing this again and again . Neither charu nor you are ever gonna change . She's never gonna stop hurting you and you are never going to put yourself before anyone else.

Charu's reactions changed as he spoke , annika noticed it and worried .

C- if you want to support your wife , it's ok , but don't insult me for it shivaay .

S- you never understand charu,  I've known her since almost a  year now and you both have done this not once ,twice ...no ! Har baar ,aisa hi hota hai . I can't imagine how she bore this for all these 25 years of her life .

Shivaay announced insisting his point for both the girls looked offended . Charu was even more frustrated,  first it was annika and now it's shivaay. Her mind couldn't think straight after that .

C - why are we even doing this , haan annika ? You told you won't attend the function and you didn't right  , it's over so what's this now , you wanna prove something ? Teek hai hoon mein selfish monster , happy now shivaay !

S- seriously charu ? Look at her , how can you expect her to come anywhere  in such a condition ? Itna bi nahi samaj sakthi thi tum ?You know what , sorry, but just don't deserve her .

A- stop it shivaay !

Annika screamed on top of her voice to put him down . He just glared at her once and looked away immediately .

A- if you know nothing   , just don't speak. Don't you ever talk to her like that again , I'll never forgive you if you do .

He was actually taken aback when she warned him. All he ever wanted from this conversation was to make her realize she can't be the one to be blamed everytime but annika was too much obsessed in having that blame tag with her only.  Shivaay got really enraged and just left the room in no time making a loud noise . Both the girls flinched when he banged the door hard on his way out .

A- she sent the food ?

Annika was quiet surprised on hearing what Adi just said .

Ad - hmm she herself  collected your favorite items from the buffet,  I just filled the chit that's it .

Annika had a tiny hint of smile at the corner of her lips .This is why she couldn't stop herself that time . Charu is very impulsive, ofcourse she  speaks and does things in haste . But that alone can't decide who she is because she has a complete different side of kindness in her too .

Even the day before , she alone stayed awake  throughout the night when annika had sleeping trouble. She gave her the medicines , drops time to  time and did everything to somehow help her sleep. 

People tend to notice annika's nature because at some point it becomes visible , but in case of charu it hardly happens which is very unfortunate . But annika knows her , and she has accepted her flaws wholeheartedly because only she knows how much even charu loves her .

So when that's clear , all these fights and blame games hardly matter for her . Annika cares for her blindly , and that's how she liked  to be . She didn't want shivaay to be her saviour, to stand in between and talk for her everytime because she was ready to forgive and accept charu how many ever times it takes .

Especially today , according to her she was the one at fault from the beginning so blaming charu was just out of the question  .

A- I want to talk to her .

Ad - no not now , she said she wants to be alone .

A- ro rahi hai ?

Ad- nahi .

A- it's my fault, everything.

Annika spoke worriedly and shook her head , Adi sighed deep and crawled to land next to her .

Ad - if shivaay was here,  he would have got so angry hearing this . Stop taking things on you annika .

A- shivaay , shivaay just twisted things between us . Charu must be really upset this time.

Ad - hey this is not fair . After hearing out everything,  one thing I know is for sure . Shivaay is so obsessed with you , he loves you even more than you can imagine . Can't you see ?

She remained quiet for sometime. 

A- jaanthi hoon par

Ad - jaanthi ho tho jao,  manao usse. I'll look after charu , tere prince ko tho mein pamper nahi kar saktha hoon na . Jao tho sahi.

A- teek hai .

Ad - annika one sec , take this bag too , it's shivaay's right ?

Only then she noticed that he had in fact reached here directly from the airport without going home . He must have been really worried for her , and she didn't even talk to him properly rather  shouted at him .

She started feeling guilty.

Shivaay threw himself on the bed and kicked his shoes off for they flew to land in different corners of the room .

He couldn't sleep much in the past two days with more work and when he was coming back  , he recieved yet another haunting news from pinky . When she narrated the incident ,shivaay couldn't even imagine it , he was so thrilled after knowing that annika actually fought with a knife aimed  at her.

He couldn't drive home after that for he directly went in search of her . Obviously anyone would be terrified ,moreover knowing that she got  her eyes infected pushed his pulse rate even ahead .

Shivaay imagined all her wounds to not be in much of a risk to keep his pounding heart in control but even that broke out when he witnessed her in person . She looked so worn out and pain.

His mind and heart was completely focused on his wife who was in a very weak condition. And at that time  when Charu once again played her usual role , he got angry . It couldn't be controlled. Even now he knows he was not wrong but annika's reaction disappointed him. On the other side his  next deed disturbed him too, he shouldn't have left her behind, he regretted.

The stress he was in right at this moment was eating him.

She peeped in before actually coming inside the room only to find it empty .Annika leaned on the door and remained silent to hear the  shower sound which announced his presence in the washroom . And when she tried to make a quiet step forward , something stopped her from behind. Weird stuffs happen to her alone , she thought when some portion of her hair got stuck in between the door .

As she was engaged in process of saving her hair , shivaay already came out after his shower . She was just going to ask his help but he turned away and walked  after merely leaving a glance at her .

A- shi

She decided to help herself today and even saved some content of it but the other part was tangled up with the knob . Now this is a difficult task but she can work it out one by one , paving no way for any damage to her hair . Even if it takes a day she was ready to stand there and do it .

Only after realizing that she hasn't walked in yet  even after a span more minutes shivaay slowly noticed her . She was fidgeting with something behind  , using that hand of her's...? He sighed and got up to march straight till her . Annika kept staring at him while he helped her out but shivaay didn't choose to reciprocate at all .

He seemed too close yet so far , she sensed it.  And when it was done,  he straightaway turned without even responding to her thanks. Annika caught his hand immediately.

A- shivaay I'm sorry .

S- your medicines, took them , did they prescribe any drops ?

She was worried by his indifferent behaviour .

A- I took everything already , Adi helped me .

He then tried and got rid of her hold , she followed him behind to the bed . Shivaay didn't say anything , he just layed back and closed his eyes . She climbed on the bed and kneeled down  infront of him .

A- shivaay , shivaay please don't do this .

S- I'm tired annika .

A- I'm sorry .

He opened his eyes on hearing her voice break and yes , she was crying . He sat up .

S- not sometime ago you were saying this to your sister and now to me . You told me not to interfere in anything considering you, I won't don't worry .

She shook her head immediately.

A- I didn't mean that shivaay , please .

S- nahi it's my fault, I can never understand ki tum kya chahthi ho and you can't understand why I'm behaving like this . And again charu is the starting point of all this .

A- shivaay charu is not like what you're thinking, she

S- I've seen her , I've seen you. And it's not once or twice so please stop trying annika . You want everyone to be happy , sab ache hai tere liye , teek hai . Have your own illusions , don't try to involve me in that .

A- what are you saying shivaay ? Why don't you understand?

S- what should I understand? Annika you can't just let yourself down for others , you realize !

She wiped her tears and held his hand when he insisted this seriously .

A- no it's not like my self respect and all that , no that's different. People around me love me unconditionally , tum  ,charu , Adi sab. I'm just trying to not hurt anyone for silly selfish reasons .

S-  that's impossible annika you can't satisfy everyone all the time.

A- I know .

S- and what  ? Being selfish is silly for you ...hmm , you were meant to be like this and I was meant to be like this too. Let's keep doing this our whole life .

He muttered frustratedly and picked a pillow before getting down the bed , she went bewildered.

A- shivaay what are you doing? Shivaay wait shi

She stopped abruptly as her sight got blurry all of a sudden when she jumped down the bed to follow him. She was scared to take the next step fearing  she couldn't see anything if she did. On not hearing anything he turned back to see her standing near the bed and blinking continously . Her posture itself mentioned something wasn't right , he rushed back to her .

S- annika , annika kya huwa teek ho na tum ?

She gave a quick nod when he enquired in much concerned voice , he was afraid .

A- nothing shivaay , vision blur huwa tha just for a second . Due to medicines maybe,  ya ...koi side effect...pata nahi .

She stammered with the words which reflected her fear and he couldn't bear that kind of emotion in her eyes. Shivaay immediately took her hands and kissed the spot which was clear off the bandage mostly covering the middle and ring fingers with his upper lip on one and the other over the next .

S- kuch nahi hoga , haan , you'll be so fine as before.

Annika couldn't hide her smile when his sweet voice came into play .

This man is a dream , she knew.

A- you're not angry anymore right ?

Shivaay let a faint chuckle when she asked curiously.

S- I am , but kya karun,pyaar bi tho kartha hoon tumse pagal ki tarah.

He had that helpless kind of reaction on his face .

Annika grinned at his reply and slowly leaned forward to leave her lips on his face . She couldn't show how overwhelmed she felt with one so she went beyond count  and started kissing all over his face . Shivaay didn't even try to hold her when she was busy cupping his face and making every attempt successful in claiming his skin .

At one point it was only much of a pressure for him to hold back when she teased him by not seeking his lips alone . So he decided to take over and immediately pulled her to himself , he landed on the bed with her on his lap .

Annika was confused when he kept staring at her eyes after making that sudden erging pull . He was depicting something through his gaze and she was already driven into his drug like eyes .

S - you're very important to me annika .

She acknowledged it with a smile when he declared  honestly .

Shivaay then brought her beneath him and started kissing her in no time . When she tried to run her fingers into his hair he immediately caught hold of her wrist and pressed it to the bed .

He sucked and smooched her lips while she just let him dominate for sometime. In process to have her hands released she kept moving like a worm for his lips soon had her chin ahead of them.  Shivaay started giving wet kisses throughout her jawline. He had no idea of how crazily driven she felt as his lips etched their marks on her skin slowly . Her chest movement looked paced up.

A- shivaay

She gasped in a low voice and he stopped everything suddenly on realizing he was becoming uncontrollable. Annika remained confused when he stopped and moved up , he then noticed his tight grip around her wrist and released them immediately. She knew why he hesitated, and when he stood up she just grabbed his hand and pulled him back .

At the same time her eyes started hurting , she kept them closed for sometime. Shivaay saw her reaction and took his palm near her face but reverted back without holding her . There was barely any gap between them , she pressed her cheek to his lips with the help of the direction his breath came from . She then slowly moved to feel his lips everywhere and kept her arms coiled around his neck .

This intimacy was killing him from within , he was growing desperate . He gulped when she loosened out and removed his tie , she smiled putting it his behind his back and drew him to her such that she falls back on the bed  with him above.

The more they remained idle and numb the more grew this tension between them . Annika immediately went near his ear and whispered .

A- I feel shy ,but it's okay.

She then quickly hugged to keep herself  hidden within him . Shivaay made use of this chance and nuzzled her neck to travel his nose and lips over those sweet spots she had there . Indeed he was surprised, but she is here with him too , after all she loves him and he loves her that's what which matters at the end .

She exhaled through her mouth and arched her neck when shivaay invaded more to attack her shoulder and collarbone . He actually  felt the movement of her chest on his , and looked up at her to soon get mesmerized by that angelic smile she had on her face .

S- beautiful

He barely whispered , and she intensified her smile even more for shivaay lost himself in it . Annika immediately rolled over to stay  on top of him  and nudged his nose with her's .

A- kya huwa ?

Shivaay just smiled and shook his head in response.

A- come here

She palmed his neck  and easily pulled him into a seductive kiss . Shivaay's arms snaked her waist in reflex .While she kept sucking his lips , he delivered some sweet tortures by   pressing his hand on her stomach just below her right rib.

Annika pulled back and breathed heavily . Shivaay sat up and took her on his lap again, she let out a loud gasp when he did that suddenly. Their respiratory movement looked even , she blushed leaving her sight somewhere else when his hands worked to pull her sleeve down .

She behaved so fragile when shivaay slowly traced his lips on her arm  to leave soft kisses  here and there .

A- shivaay

Her soft calls in between their cuddles were making him even more insane , shivaay inserted his hand beneath her dress and cupped the flesh of her waist.  She gulped moving her legs slowly like some snake , he immediately placed a soothing kiss on her forehead to make her feel at ease.

That's what shivaay is for her, he is her solace and this day he has proved it once again.

Love is a font which beautifies the script of an ordinary life .
