She laid back on the bed and complained looking at the only visible thing inside the room , the residents of the blue tank . Remembering the beautiful moments they just shared , she blushed touching her skin where all he had marked his lips a while ago .

A- not that I'm not ready par , par pata nahi !

She rolled and lied on her stomach , pressing her face on the pillow tightly.

Annika felt sad for doing that to him . It wasn't deliberate rather something which she couldn't control at that instant . She was desperate to speak and clear things with him because they've had enough for a while . Some days of peace and joy is must , she decided and waited for him to come back.

He came back after an hour to only find an asleep her , lying like that . He sighed deeply and went close to sit on the bed. A normal human could hardly breathe in this position with the face burried into the pillow like that but this girl , alien . He chuckled hearing his own mind voice and tried to turn her over . As soon as she turned and lied on her back , he looked away from her as her saree hardly covered her front. It took him to what happened a while ago, he rubbed his fingers on his forehead and sighed huge . He then covered the duvet over her after adjusting her dress properly.

Shivaay felt guilty actually, for whatever happened and for what he thinks he was wrong. Bending down close till his breath could touch her face , he stopped , and again made it close to leave a light kiss on her nose bridge. He then muttered a sorry and laid next to her . Sleep took over after long because his mind stayed too active with thoughts for a big while .

Stretching her arms up above she sat up at once and crushed her eyes before looking beside to find an empty side . The clock hit 10 watching which her eyes went big .

A - it's been an hour and still man hasn't returned back , What kind of prince does this !

Speaking to herself, she jumped off the bed and hurried towards the door only to be blocked by him who he entered from outside . She kept her hands on her hip immediately and put up a strong frown.

A- where were you ? See whatever it is we'll solve it, arey , it's my birthday and look at you showing all kind of attitude. I've been waiting for you , pata hai . I didn't even have dinner yet , just the cake and chocolates which I had at the hospital. Shivaay where are you going again I'm speaking to you , shi

She stopped then and there when he walked past her and opened the curtains , revealing the light . Her eyes went big realizing she had literally slept the whole night and he stood by there to take a glance of her reactions .

A- cheating! Actually this happened all the time during school days pata hai , close my eyes for just a few seconds , open then ,night gone school on . I hate these kind of days , meri birthday is also over !!

She whined sitting on the bed and scratched her hair innocently, shivaay couldn't stop smiling after this though.

Suddenly they heard a knock on the door , it was Tej .

S- please come badepapa.

Shivaay immediately hurried to pick the duvet which his wife had casually dropped on the floor while waking up . And she just sat quiet rubbing her eyes to still make it clear and confirm, that it really is a new day .

T - sorry if I woke you up.

S- no papa , I was awake already .

T - ok , actually site C's construction work is starting today. And I've got to be there , but this ...I'm just, I desperately want to be at the hospital. After taking him in my hands I couldn't concentrate on anything else.

Shivaay smiled as Tej spoke and chuckled reminiscing his moments with Om's child .

S- I understand badepapa , I'll take care you can go to the hospital.

Tej was surprised.

T- you're sure ?

S- yes , stage 4 meet with the engineers aur thoda supervision. Agenda yahi haina?

T- hmm , thank you so much shivaay !

Tej thanked him heartily for shivaay just shook his head and smiled.

As soon as she saw Tej leaving the room , she jumped infront of shivaay enthusiastically. Shivaay stepped behind in thrill as he didn't expect this .

He frowned when she insisted much .

S- where ?

A- memory loss hai kya , now you spoke to uncle about going up the site right ? there !

S- you don't have work today ?

A- night shift hai .

She seemed eager but shivaay couldn't easily agree .

S- but annika, there's nothing for you at the site . Why ?

A- take me somewhere else after your work is done ,ok I'll go get ready haan , just 20 minutes shivaay . Bye !

She hurried to collect the clothes from the cupboard and ran inside the washroom .

He sighed and shook his head before collecting all the clothes which had fallen from the wardrobe , thanks to his careless clumsy wife .

She was waiting for one right moment to start about last night but didn't know how to start though . They were almost near the site , now she thought to bring it up or else this man is gonna run to work again. Annika cleared her throat and put her sight off the outside.

He stopped her bluntly and she frowned .

A- don't what?

S- I know what you're upto , don't.

A - wait , astrologer mode on haan ? I'm not going to ask permission to speak with you , your my husband dude !

S- I don't want to talk about

A- you don't know what I'm about to even say !

She insisted in the middle to make him listen to her .

S- I'm already feeling guilty for that , please don't bring that up again annika .

Stopping the car right infornt of the site , he spoke looking at her . And she was totally taken aback by his words . Guilty? For what! She was angry . Knowing she was ready with her next train of words , he immediately got out and moved . She followed him.

S- I'm not sure how long I'd be gone , wait here .

A- what I'm not some spy , can I not come to the camp ?

S- there will be too many people inside the tent and it's going to get really hot in there with time . This place is shady , it should be fine . Sit here or wait inside the car only.

Annika stared at him for a moment showing a nice grin to him , his care and concern is something she's got used to but she never could stop reacting like full 100 percent to it everytime.

S- what ? And if I take more time , maybe you can just get on to that mall , near the junction .

She nodded as he spoke pointing the direction .

He turned back before entering the tent and she was already strolling through the area, he sighed . Just couldn't listen to him ever , could she ?

M- wait charu , don't. Let me bring you some warm water , one minute .

She kept the tablet aside and waited for her mother . As her sight wandered around , something on the mobile caught her attention . The lock screen wallpaper , a picture taken during the annual day celebration of their school. Straight from some play which they had enacted , Charu - dressed like a strict police officer and Adi- a poor maid wearing a wig and saree and yeah, he resembled a beauty .

Charu could do nothing to stop that smile which rose up on her lips . By then Meena came back and fed her some water , just then she noticed how charu stared at the mobile. She placed her palm on her shoulder but there was no response from charu .

M - charu

C- hmm ?

M - I'll ask you something , will you tell the truth ?

Charu turned and noticed her mother's reaction for a second .

C- kya maa ?

M - if we I mean mein aur tumara papa,if we hadn't agreed to your love . Would you have left Adi ?

Charu remained tongue tied as soon as these words entered her ears . And Meena captured her every reaction keenly and smiled . There was fear , confusion, restlessness.

M - you have already dreamt a whole future with him , haina ?

Still there was no response from charu who looked drowned in her own thoughts .

M - beta you know what's the problem here ? Only you can decide what you want and what you don't, so please talk for yourself . Do what you really want , I'll support you I promise .

Charu's immediate reactions were confusing , she had tears but she was smiling too. Meena just patted her shoulder softly and wiped her tears .

He came out from the camp after an hour , completing his meeting but she wasn't there . She would have gone to the mall , he told himself and prepared himslef for a web meeting with some property management staffs . It went on swallowing the next hour .

S- no actually I couldn't get to see the final sheet from the archeological department . Maybe I'll talk with badepapa and get back to you , that's it for now .

Swiping the red , he stood up stretching his arms and legs to extremes . And within the next few seconds his eyes caught her presence there , she was standing around the corner speaking to someone over the phone. This was actually unexpected, getting a grip of legs he ran till her at once .

She asked with a wide grin on her face but he looked baffled .

S- annika I told you to sit there , in that place .

Annika rolled her eyes lazily and sighed.

A- what kind of rule is this shivaay ? Traffic rules ki tarah , zebra crossing , one way , u turn ! You want me to pay fine for standing here . Actually you know something, my skin would look even more bright under sun , no filters needed . Aur yahan spots bi achi thi , that's why I was roaming around to take snaps . I've changed my dp also, check karke bathaogi kaisi hai ?

He shook his head in horror when she started talking and fetched a handkerchief from his pocket .He then slowly pressed it against her skin over her forehead and temple which had a collection of sweat beeds all over.

S- paani piya tumne ?

Annika made a very slow blink and reacted touched by his gesture .

A- aww ! Still ,I asked you something first , check it and then

S- and I asked to something else too !

She stopped when he stressed each of these words sequentially .

A- did until the bottle went empty.

S- acha chal ,let's get something for you to drink .

A- aren't we going to the mall ?

S- exactly , I told you to go there if I get late right ? Why would you stand and burn here ?

She frowned at his stern voice . Grabbing the napkin from him , she walked straight ahead after saying something.

A- thought we could go together .

Shivaay breathed out a huge sigh and jogged to match her pace .

S- acha teek haina , sorry. Annika , wait for me !

A- vahi tho kiya pehle ,

Came her complain in return . She didn't seem to halt for he had to increase his pace up and above .

Annika crooked her eyes when he rejected her choice of dress for the nth time .

A- what's your problem shivaay ? Go and learn weaving, tailoring , embroidery, make dresses on your own . This shop can't suffice your expectations!

S- annika baby boy hai , I thought pink kind of may not be very good on him .

Saying this he shrugged his shoulders casually but she had a " seriously?" kind of reaction on her face by now .

A- when did the government announce uniforms like that for babies haan ?

S- I think it's a common thought .

She was about to say something but some sudden noise made her stop . A baby was crying for a toy which had fell on the ground . Annika picked and passed it to the baby who was sitting inside the basket . And the crying squeals stopped at once . She smiled pulling the baby's cheecks .

A- stubborn girl you are !

' bacha hai '

Came the lady's voice who stood ahead, holding the handle of that trolley . She stared at annika awkwardly. Shivaay was already found turned around, he wanted to grin and smile without any disturbance while annika on the other side put up a fake smile and nodded at the lady .

S- deka ?

A- but she was actually I mean he looked like a girl .

S- it is normal to look like that when he is hardly of any age ,but blue dress pehenrahatha na . Some people tend to pick like that for their children.

A- illogical hai ye . What sort of mindset is this ? Arey sab parents ki

Shivaay's eyes popped up when he realized that he has just written the heading of the essay which she is yet to start . He wriggled himself a bit.

S- annika I've still got some products to buy . I'll be at the store in 1st floor . Do your experiments all yourself and get pretty frocks I mean...yaar muje hi confuse kardiya. I'll literally forget the list if I stay here , and Om would kill me for that. Bye annika .

Annika twisted her mouth when shivaay rushed out saying this .

A- kuch bi , I know my baby would look stunning in pink !

Shivaay kept the mobile screen on and checked whether he had covered the whole list . He smiled thinking of something. Maybe he couldn't remember about Om's baby tales as he himslef was actually that small , but ofcourse he could recall all of Rudy's naughty tales from childhood . He was so happy that after all these years he has got another baby he could enjoy raising after Rudy . His days are going to be so good, he had a small smile on his face thinking this .

Suddenly he heard loud screams from somewhere . People squealed and shrieked like anything . He immediately came out of the shop and looked around to find that the noise was actually coming from the 3rd floor . He enquired about it to the man who stood nearby .

' fire broke out '

Shivaay couldn't stand there after hearing that , she is in that floor .

' arey , you can't go !!'

He didn't pay attention to any of this and ran straight and climbed up the stairs even when people tried to stop him . The sprinkler went on in that floor alone for he was already drenched as he made his way .

' you're not allowed , please go back !'

His heartbeat hit like bangs over his ribs that he could actually feel it happening . His sane mind was ripping apart , he couldn't think straight as his mind won't let him until he sees her . He grew fierce with anger when the worker pushed him once again.

S- my wife is inside !

He roared ,grabbing the man's collars .

' everyone got evacuated already , they must be outside.'

He released his hold after hearing this and quickly ran downstairs .

His eyes wandered everywhere around seeking her. He climbed down and continued without holding the pace , he ran like some superhero only to bang on someone very soon .

'Ouch!!! Fracture hi ho gaya!'

His chest moved front and back so fast , when he decided to stop after hearing the voice . Here she is , crushing her eyes in pain and rubbing her right arm roughly . Shivaay inserted his fingers into his hair and breathed out fastly. He struggled to breathe , and it was real . And annika on the other side looked totally baffled after noticing him .

A- shivaay ? What happened ?

S- where , were ...you ?

He stopped inbetween each word to take a breathe and ran his eyes to take a view of her from head to toe .

A- restroom mein . Why ?

S- bathakar jaathi na annika !

She cringed in pain when he stressed his hold on her shoulder. He noticed this and freed her .

A- I'm not a kindergarden kid shivaay , why would I ask permission ?

By then he bent down to feel some ease to breathe.

She complained rubbing her palm over her arm still and shivaay crushed his eyes to withhold his rage .

A- vaise why are you drenched ? And why did you run like that ? Koi race event chal raha hai !?

She asked innocently and he looked pissed off .

S- you should have told me annika !

A- phir se vahi ? Shivaay , one bottle of water and one bottle of juice , how can I control! And the restroom in 3rd floor is under some maintenance it seems so I had to ran all the way down to 2nd floor ,pata hai?

Without saying anything this time , he just grabbed her hand and rushed out of that place .

She came to know what exactly happened after hearing people all around buzzing particularly about it . Annika understood the reason behind his weird behaviour now . She could still feel the chills his hands left on her skin . He must have been so scared , she worried .

He didn't stop anywhere and led her to the parking area .

A- shivaay , shivaay .

Without saying anything he opened the door and forced her in . She caught his wrist when he turned away .

A- sorry .

S- nahi , why would you say sorry ? You're didn't do anything!

He sounded sarcastic but she was too naive to catch him this time.

A- I know right , I didn't know so how can it be my fault ?

Shivaay looked thrilled , he kept shaking his head continuously.

S- oh my God annika ! I can't do this , tum aise kaise ...? I can't handle the stress , please chalthey hain . I've got a flight to catch tonight , I'll have to rest sometime . BP check karna hai pehle .

Annika was clueless.She pulled him again when he tried to move .

A- flight ?

S- I have the original documents, and it's the primary inspection in our office this week . I'll have to take it to them .

A- tho , you can send someone else right ? Khanna baiya , you can send him !

He just frowned shaking his head and she almost lost her cool . Her grip became firm as she dragged to pull him inside the car just over her .

A- mat jao na ?

Shivaay literally froze to her whisper, the tone of it had something he couldn't resist but react . He then remained confused when she wandered her eyes here and there outside for a few seconds . As she pulled him even more close against her ,he immediately pressed his palm on the head rest of the seat to hold the gap . She on the other side , quickly tilted her head to take a glance on his hand and acted fast by pushing the hand loose . Shivaay swiftly came to land on her , she accepted his approach i. e his approach which she stimulated.

Sipping his lips within hers , she gradually traced her palms from his shoulder to his neck to get the feel of his skin . Shivaay clearly reciprocated as she drove him into it beautifully. There seemed no hurry , she worked slow and cool with what she was doing because that's how she liked feeling him in her . Within sometime ,they took turns to exchange the lip buds for the smooching sound seemed erotic . He gasped and groaned on feeling her tight grip on his hair and she relieved him from that pain soon in her own way .

Their faces rubbed against each other . His stubble poked her chin , she didn't care . Her free hair was a disturbance, he didn't stop . This happened , and happened the way both wanted it to .

Annika pushed him away and started taking fast breathes which she was in much need of . He ran his fingers through his hair and did the same .

A- nahi jaogi na ?

She questioned while correcting her hair and he behaved clueless .

S- hmm haa ?

After that she couldn't meet his eyes , she just quickly pushed him and closed the door .

A- chalthey hain .

Shivaay made a nice slow blink and shook his head , what just happened ? He felt like he was actually used . And what is that attitude of her's! He went insane but thought to keep it aside and marched to his side.

He hated the sound of silence when she's along , he decided to break it up .

S- why are so quite now ? As if something wrong happened.

Annika who was staring outside all this time , turned quickly to shoot daggers at him .

A- shivaay mein aisehi hoon . I tend to feel nervous at times, you know ...aadat nahi hai muje. Samjo na tum , Pyaar karthi hoon tujse , so please stop this ! We didn't do anything wrong and you don't have to feel guilty about anything!

Anika emphasised these words clearly and turned her gaze off him once again . She seemed really angry, shivaay kept his eyes wavering from road to her constantly. Her tight jaws reflected her gritted teeth , he noticed everything and slowly kept his palm on her lap to gain her attention . She didn't turn entirely but just ran her eyes from his hand and then towards him .

S- sorry .

He muttered showing his innocent face but she didn't seem convinced. Pushing his hand off , she kept staring through the window without sparing a glance on him .

S- I have to clarify something.

She scowled at him once again .

S - Muje bi aadat nahi hai !

At once her reactions changed for she sighed shaking her head in disbelief.

S- what ? You sounded as if muje ye sab ...nahi hai ! Aisa nahi hai .

Annika couldn't hold that stern face anymore , after getting to see that puppy face of his , it was impossible. She bounced on him and started punching his shoulder .

A - stupid prince , you know how sad I felt last night ! Meri birthday tha and I couldn't even spend some time with you, how can you even think like that , haan!

S- ahh , annika !! Please aahh!! Ok ok , sorry an ahh!

The journey remained silent no more , squeals , whines and giggles happened .
