Before starting. I want to share my happiness with you all . Not a big lover of naagin series ,but now ...I  can't wait for weekends.  Obviously it's because of our Surbhi !!! Watched yesterday's episode and I really liked it . The happiness when we get to see our baby onscreen is 💃💃💃💃.

Ok let's start, 

A- whatever you say gauri , nude colours has it's own glint ! See , it suits your skin colour so well .

Drawing a streak of line on her nail , annika expressed holding the polish brush with her fingers for which gauri just smiled in return . Soon annika resumed to complete .

G- ji bhabi even I like nude colours.

A- hi-fi then! Well, I don't know how only people tend to prefer loud shades . I mean some colours look really monstrous in long nails you know ?

Tak .

They heard some sound from the other side of the couch where pinky has been seated , watching something on TV . Annika looked back to find that she had dropped the remote by mistake ,and bent down to get it for her. If only she knew what actually happened.

Bright dark blue was the colour painted on pinky's nails which she had exclusively done so that it goes well with the salwar which she has wore today . Hearing annika's words , subconsciously her fingers curled within to not reveal her loud nails and reflexly the remote in her grip attained it's place on the floor .

Grabbing it from the ground annika passed it to pinky who first forwarded but soon pulled back her hand insisting her to just keep it aside on the couch which she did .

G- but bhabi ? You have painted red on your toe nails , you said you don't like dark

A- hey shhh!

Annika immediately held gauri's hands , signalling her to suppress the tone .

G- what's it?

She whispered.

A- secret ! I like both the shades, nude and bright. I just pretended because,

Maintaining the same low tone , she paused and swung her pupils towards pinky with a mischievous smile playing on her lips . And gauri just chuckled, realizing what she meant.

A- isn't she cute? !

G- bhabi aap bhi na ,

A- shh !

Annika stopped her from saying anything and both started giggling then .

Pinky on the other side questioned her mind a hundred times and kept staring at the shade on her nails . She even pressed her palm on her dress and made sure that the colour coordinated with it perfectly. What's the use of painting nails if it's not visible only ? She has no taste , hmm!

Twisting her mouth she casually tucked her hair revealing most of her fingers which annika silently noticed and compressed her evolving smile. She knew that this was actually coming , pinky wasn't the one who would worry for other's opinions . She loves her the way she is . Being the naughty one , annika was in mood to play with her which she did ; )

Shivaay entered along with Tej just then . Their disturbed faces signified that there was some tension running between the two . Annika who found this was just looking at shivaay and nothing else. Her keen sight on him shook a bit when she heard Tej's loud voice.

T- so you think that you're superior to everyone, is that it ?

S- no badepapa , I

T- then who gave you the permission to approve the incentive for the workers? Don't you know we have to prepare a statistical report before doing that?

S - I had already gone through the pros and cons , believe me badepapa . There isn't any loss for us in doing this.

T- don't justify yourself shivaay . Just because you're the CEO you can't deny the protocols.

The others present there watched the both arguing where Tej didn't leave any chance for shivaay to speak even . Jhanvi who just came there neared Tej at once .

J- Tej , you're being rude now .

T- don't interfere in this .

He ordered looking at her before turning to face shivaay again .

T- I don't know shivaay , if anything goes wrong in this . You should face the consequences alone , don't come to me then.

Declaring this harshly ,he straightaway walked to his room without even listening to what shivaay has to say .

Shivaay threw his blazer away which landed in some corner of the room . Grabbing the laptop quickly , he settled on the bed and started working without even changing. Be it any situation he can never speak overpowering Tej . That's how he has always been . The incentive thing must have been done long before , so he just decided to approve it now and speak to Tej of it later . He knows that there are risks in it , but after going through every data by himslef he had made that decision. If only Tej was ready to hear his claim , he could have explained, but .

A- will anyone even behave like this, it isn't the first time now. How can ...

She continued ranting to herself as she entered and stomped his blazer mistakenly. Keeping it inside the laundry bag she kept on blabbering  until shivaay interrupted .

S- who are you talking with annika ?

A- myslef ,no no with you too .

She shook her head and replied immediately for him to question through eyes .

A- I mean , why can't you just talk to him straightaway like you do with others ? You know you didn't do anything wrong right ? He will never change if you keep going like this shivaay, he'll only dominate you harder. I've seeing him from since I'm here , he's always rude with you . Maybe he's insec

S- ok just stop it annika !

Her trail of words stopped abruptly when she heard him shout. His glaring eyes clearly depicted his anger .

A- shivaay mein,

S- stay in your limits. He has all the rights on me ,so it's none of your buisness .

Insisting through his proclaiming words he stared at her with that same raged face for a few more seconds before getting engaged in work again while she slowly looked away at everything but him before leaving the room .

C- do you have anything called brain here or not ?

Pointing his head , she questioned making an irked face and Adi looked grumpy hearing that .

Ad- charu I just told you the reason for why I had denied all my shares . I ain't interested in Dad's business .

C- and why is that ?

She asked wanting an answer soon .

Ad- If I go sit there, what will happen to my future plans with you ? I'm sure you can't be happy without  seeing your parents , so after our marriage I can't see you being sad of leaving the country . It's good that I find a job here right ? Happy ending!

Grinning wide ,he admitted what exactly were his plans without fearing her constant dagger like glares. And when he finished , charu was already moved. Is she the reason behind the change in his decisions? She already want to feel guilty , but her mind dominated high and claimed that she had nothing to do with it . If he's running behind companies , then it's because of his stubbornness. She put up a stren reaction.

C- you can never change right? It's always about you alone , did you even think of aunty once , how much worried she would be ? And what did you say about marriage? Only in you dreams . I'm a fool actually, to think I could convince you .

She folded the bill book after keeping the notes and got up to fade away from the restaurant at once, for him to follow her back.

Ad- you weren't a fool charu. You can actually convince me in anything but ,this...

C- I don't want to hear anything.

Paying no heed to his talks she continued walking forward and he sprinted behind her through the way .

Ad- kab tak charu ? Till when you're going to act like this , like you feel nothing for me ?

She stopped right there when his words hit her ears . Without turning back she crushed her fists before moving again only for him to hold her wrist instantly, resisting her from taking any step forward . That's exactly when a vehicle passed across her in full speed . Her angered face settled down when she realized why he had clutched her hand then . She slowly turned her head back to find him already watching her intensely.

C- chod

Saying this she got out of his grip  and crossed the road,leaving him wear a weak smile on his face .

Finally after struggling for four hours , he had completed the statistical report now and the conclusion truly stands best to his decision. He had worked fully with the collected data of last five years so that there's nothing which could lead to loss of the company now , so says this final study report . He sighed closing the laptop and rubbed his eyes.

A- so this is what happened? Charu you ,no... I ain't going to say anything. It's your problem, you deal with it .

Came her voice from the pool side . And soon he remembered everything. Her hill of words and his rude shout for that. He crushed his eyes regretting it . This happens everytime when he's angry . He was already tensed that what if his decision leads to something worse as Tej mentioned ? and on top of that he really didn't like the way she spoke of Tej . What if he scolds ?he is still his badepapa.

But still , his harsh words towards her started haunting him already . He wanted to apologize.

A - hey oreo , deko deko . See who's here , charu is here !! Look ,

Holding oreo on her lap , she held the mobile quite away so that the camera could focus on herself and him .

C- you just took him with you as like that. I'm missing him badly you know? Even he is , aren't you baby ?

Snapping her fingers charu tried catching oreo's attention who was peeping infront to snatch the device from annika's hand .

A- araam se , I don't have another one if you break it . Don't move now ,

Positioning the creature so that he sits erect , she instructed .

C- I'm sure he's missing me too.

A- oi oi drama queen . Don't start ok ! He's my baby , I hope someone remembers what they did when I first brought him home , I mean when I told he would be sharing our room too.

With a possessive accent playing in her tone , she smirked while charu rolled her eyes .

C- look , I agree I didn't allow him in our room first but then didn't I change my decision ? Even I like him more and he's my baby too . You know right ? I take my own time to understand everything.

A- exactly , the late shining bulby goose .

She dragged her voice and charu frowned.

C- anika tum ,

A- ohh God charu , the charge is down. I'm going to hang up , say bye to your baby for now I'll call you tomorrow. Bye !

She pulled this out to escape any silly fight with her dear sister now ,otherwise the mobile was certainly booming with good charge .

C- good night oreo !

And oreo immediately barked on not getting to see charu on the screen anymore.

She pat his back and spoke.

A- arey bas , get up now .I know my lap feels like a soothing bed but my legs are already numb . Utt!

She stood up when oreo ran off from her and adjusted her pants before turning back .

Watching him standing behind her with folded arms, she went baffled while he was mentally smiling listening to her crazy talks all this time.

A- you're here ? Kaam katam huwa ? Charu asked of you actually. You could have been a little earlier . It's ok , you can call her by yourself. My data pack is counting it's last days , and I'm sure you'll have unlimited data in your phone . So use your's only .

He was taken aback . Is this all her reaction? There's no way he would speak to someone who had just been rude to him like that but she ...? He watched her keenly as if she'll fade off if he blinks.

S- aren't you upset with me ?

With the same confused face , he questioned.

A- for ?

S- I spoke to you like that before , and

A- ohh that , to be honest no . I ain't.

He was more surprised when she shrugged.

S- why ?

A- and why do you look so different? You want me to be upset for that? Ok fine , I...actually I'm sorry . I shouldn't have spoken like that.

S- no , it's not . You , I'm sor

He stammered ,

A- even I would have reacted the same if someone spoke of my father like that. In that case , I really know how you look up at uncle as your Godfather, your role model. I can understand your anger .

When she said this shivaay's face grew in surprise . She definitely knows him much.

S- you really aren't angry on me ?

There was a confused smile on her face , hearing him.

A- you don't know what I do when I'm angry with someone. You know ? Once I had fought with charu and for a whole month I kept numb without speaking with her , ignoring her !

She expressed with a smirk on her face while shivaay didn't delay to reply .

S- that I know . The fight was for not allowing oreo in the room right?

A- you are full of informations man ! How did you know that ?

Smiling suprisedly, she quizzed and he shrugged before speaking .

S- well , you create so many adventurous days in your life and charu was never quite during classes you know? She always had stories to rant about you.

A- ok , I'm popular ! And haan , don't feel sorry . Defending your family is like a birthright according to you .  I just act frankly everytime without knowing what I'm saying , don't take it seriously. So you didn't do anything wrong , hmm? Good night !

After wishing  , she walked past him to the room. The slight smile on his face slowly deviated back when his brain registered her words .

He certainly didn't like the way she highlighted an invisible border between him and her ,saying ' your family ' . Is it that? Does she really think that he never cares for her ? She distancing herself like some outsider really pricked something in him hard .

He was disturbed ,entirely .

Next morning

Shivaay had left to work early today for the board meeting .

Everything was set in the conference room and they were just waiting for the members to fill up the room , especially Tej .

He was going through the report for one last time , when he received a call from charu. If the meeting had started by then he wouldn't have attended the call but there was time still.

S- hello charu ?

C- shivaay , annika . Can you put her on  plss ? I can't connect to her , it's unreachable. I'm waiting for her since half and hour , I told her to be here soon and she

S- charu one second. What happened ? You sound tensed .

C- she didn't tell you ? Papa , papa fainted suddenly this morning , pata nahi kya huwa. I've brought him to the city hospital , she told she'll be here by now but ...haan , there she is . Ok shivaay , she has come. Sorry for disturbing you ,

She told this and hung up on noticing annika there, enquiring at the reception.

S- hello , charu,Uncle ko kya h ? Hello?

He took off the mobile from his ear on hearing the long beep sound.

' sir , everyone has come '

S- mishra , take this . Lead the conference. Explain everything clearly that none gets dubious after this . Ok ?

Passing the file and pendrive , he instructed .

' but sir , you have worked much to prepare it and none can present it better than you '

He showed some hesitation when shivaay immediately replied.

S- I know, but I really have to go now . Got an important work. So carry on , ok ?

' yes sir '

Charu stood up on noticing shivaay approaching the ward .

C- shivaay tum ?

S- how is uncle now ?

He peeped a little through the ward's door as he asked this .

C- he's ok , he had fainted due to low BP. He's fine now . I'm really sorry , vo kya haina ? Suddenly he fell down, and even maa wasn't with me . She's at chachi's house . That's why I called for annika , and when she wasn't here I ...I'm sorry I disturbed you .

S- charu , I don't remember both of us being so formal with each other. So cut this disturb thing off ! What did the Doctor say ?

Asking this , he traversed his eyes everywhere near that place to spot someone desperately . In that process he merely listened to what charu was actually telling. He kept on looking everywhere to find this someone who was nowhere to be seen yet .

Indeed , he was certainly hurt. Hurt that she hadn't contacted him yet .

C- but now he's totally fine .

He nodded when she finished and gradually his sight fell towards the Doctor's cabin , hearing the screeching sound of the door .

Still immersed in the conversation with the Doctor , annika failed to notice him there but she gained all his eyes for her alone.

A- ok ,thank you Dr.

There , she met his eyes straight when she walked near charu . And he did nothing but kept looking her as if he was seeking answers . She had a baffled reaction on her face . How did he ?

A- shivaay tum? so you scared him too ?

Without saying anything to him , she spoke facing charu who just shrugged.

C- then? How many times to call you ?  I thought maybe , he's coming with you and so I called him.

A- chal , give your card first . I forgot to bring mine in the rush. The way you sacred me , uff!  Be with papa and let me buy these medicines.

C- my bag is in the car , take this.

Annika grabbed the car key from her and walked towards the entrance .

Shivaay was still  working on the thought that she hardly looked at him .

C- shivaay , come let's meet papa .

S- haan charu , just two minutes . Tum jao mein aatha hoon.

Charu agreed and went inside the ward while shivaay sprinted to the entrance. 

Annika stopped on noticing shivaay following her and waited for him to make it up to her.

A- kya huwa ?

S- tum uncle ke saath raho . I'll buy the medicines.

Saying this he lent his hand to get the prescription .

A- kyun?

That's it now. Her reluctance to even share things with him was certainly making him insane.  Why is she like this ? The clear ignorance in her eyes when she asked it was hurting him like anything. He wanted to be by her side but the way she's acting speaks that she hardly wants him to be ,and that's exactly what he hated . Even now she didn't tell why she hadn't called him .

He knew ,if charu hadn't called him he would have never known only .

He  was hurt.

While he was engrossed in his thoughts, she had already went to the car .

Since the car was parked near the emergency block . An ambulance stopped there just then and two ward boys got down ,dragging the stretcher along .

Annika who fetched the bag from inside the car kept checking the bill and prescription when she walked , failing to notice the fast commotion going there .

And within seconds she felt herself being pushed back on hitting something hard ,and she moved back to hit the car behind in a jiffy . That's when she saw the people dragging the stretcher fastly across her. If she hadn't stopped , she would have definitely dashed with it and fell down.

But wait , who saved me?

Slowly , she tilted her head to look  .

Who else rather him ?!

Watching his hand placed on the side , she bit her lips on feeling his other hand which palmed her waist at the back so that she doesn't get to hit the car in that force  .

She bent down feeling the intimacy. Like , he was literally sticking with her as his chest hit her's lightly. She didn't dare to look at him now as his constant hot breath which hit her forehead was erupting something in her.

He moved back a little when he felt her hair  waving in air to trace his cheeks. Now he definitely can oppose his brothers who claim that he can sense no feelings that could make him insane , this girl right infront here was casting all sorts of spells to enchant him with feels which he merely knew even existed in him . He took advantage of the few moments until she looked at him to just stare at her features closely.  Exploring those eyes which seemed to have been scrolling off away him , he froze adoring them. 

Adoring how the pupils centered within her eyes  shrinked in shy.

Moreover his palm which snaked her waist was actually driving her go breathless that she was actually inhaling and breathing out by opening her mouth slightly every now and then . What is this man doing to her even ? His mere touch and she shivers to vibration mode  .

Long gone the stretcher leaving the field clear for even a crew dance but still shivaay here was saving his clumsy wife from being hit .

In his own world.

S- tum teek ho ?

He tried bending down to meet her eyes which was now a difficult job as she had mostly closed her eyes by then leaving him to note the winged liner of her's clearly. 

She just let a nod , and he pealed his palm from the fabric that she could feel jitters until his last inch of skin left that place.

When he moved away slowly, she felt a bunch of crackers bursting within her all at once.

Only when she knew he was quite distanced from her , she breathed normally .

' I need an oxygen mask now ,right ,now ! '
