I don't know when I'll be able to update next , so I've typed a long chapter . Read when you have time .

It's a yes , that he was sure of .

She noticed a clear simple smile which played on his face and stated.

A- seems like you've got the expected answer . Look at the smirk on your face ,

Immediately he controlled his smile and made a blunt reaction to do which he struggled a moment .

S- you throw riddle type answers for my questions and expect me to understand it ? I didn't get anything.

Maybe , he wanted her to say it certainly, those words .

A- stop pretending Mr. Smart Singh Oberoi .

Saying this she pulled the duvet away and got up . But he suddenly caught her wrist and pulled, making her lean back on the cot again,just inches away from him . For a few seconds , he remained quite trying to read something from those eyes of her's and all he knew was , she's affected by him , very much . The way her eyes shouted the nervousness that moment really surprised him . Pondering in her eyes until more time , he finally remembered his question .

S- so is that why you've saved my name as Prince in your mobile?

Hearing this , she first decided to blink and clear her eyes off that spell which he casts everytime when he looks into them . Slowly moving back she gulped to give a reply . Being just too close to him can never leave her vocal cord to bring any voice.

A- what...what's the connection between Prince and being smart ?

Came her words , in a very silently delicate tone which he didn't know was because of the proximity .

S- no no , I'm not asking about smartness . The other answer which you gave , a few minutes back . Is that why I'm a Prince for you ?

Not knowing what the crisp of his husky voice could do to her , he muttered these in that tone . She had already tightened her toe fingers to feel some stiffness in her , to hold herself in that position , near him .

But soon , she mentally smirked. Why must he gain sweet answers continuously?

A- not that , I've even saved Aditya's name as Monkey in my phone , with an emoji. Is he jumping from tree to tree for real ? It's just that , I save it with names which I like . That's all!

Quickly uttering these, she easily came out of his grip which was loosened by now and jumped off the bed leaving him dive in his thoughts . Then she ran from there on remembering something.

Well , he himself couldn't realise the reason for a kind of happy feel which has engulfed him now . Is it because of her answer? He smiled confusedly .

He picked his mobile from the side table when he saw it there.

Hitting the recent list , he straightly clicked her contact name and the edit option then .

Wonder woman | , it showed.

He simply stared at it before checking through some emojis . At once he pulled his finger off the screen when he noticed the emoji which he had clicked by mistake , while tracing.

There's no way he would believe that he's actually surfing for emojis to save a contact name , is he doing that ?

But he liked that crown thing though .

What has happened to him ? He ran his fingers on his hair and smiled, shaking his head before back spacing the emoji .

That's when he heard the door opening wide as she came back .

A- shivaay , come here!

Insisting excitedly , she called him and he walked upto her slowly after placing the mobile back on the table.

S- what ?

A- this ...is for you.

Forwarding a box which she had kept hidden behind her back a few seconds ago , she said this with a small nervous smile on her face .

S- what's this annika ?

A- it isn't even wrapped . Look by yourself, take it .

Her mild voice mentioned her feelings when she insisted . He didn't ask anything further and received it from her . There was a pair of men's clothing inside .

S- how did you get it instantly ?

With a confused smile residing on his face, he quizzed and she shook her head immediately.

A- no actually I had bought this long before , when we had gone shopping for charu ...I mean your wedding .

He , who was looking at the clothes until then, traveled his eyes upon her hearing
' your wedding ' and she immediately rectified.

A-which turned to be my wedding ,your wedding ok...our wedding! leave that now . I , I don't know whether you would like it but I like them , I got these because I've never seen you in casuals before. They aren't any top branded costly ones like you would prefer ,but these are some really good stuffs . I hope you like the colours . Try it once , will you?

All the while he noted only one thing. It wasn't her lips which smiled rather her eyes , when she spoke . And that sight always had a special place in his heart . He blinked agreeing to receive a happy smile from her . That's when he realized , what is it like to see her happy ?! Yesterday's acts crossed his mind suddenly , he has really been a jerk to have reacted angry on this girl , this innocent girl. No more behaviour like that , he promised to himself.

S- thank you.

She blinked quickly and started speaking again .

A- vaise bhi , you have no other choice . We don't have men's clothing in our house , ek minute ....! Actually we do have , Dad's boring checked shirts and cotton pants . Let me imagine your look ...!

And she pretended to think saying these.

There , she's back to her typical annika mode , he thought shaking his head in disbelief and rubbed his forehead using fingers.

While shivaay changed in the room , annika got ready in another room .

He was greeted by charu who was seated on the dining chair when he came out of the room. Taking his seat beside , he joined her.

S - where's uncle ?

C- in his room , getting ready . So ? Kaise ho tum ? You've become so busy that you hardly call me nowadays , married man haan ?! How's your married life ?

Pouring some coffee for him she passed the cup and asked with a smile while he took a sip and replied soon .

S- ask the same to your sister first . Then I'll answer.

C- that is different and this is different. I want to know how's my dear friend coping up with marriage . Vaise bhi, that girl ?She will make us mad with her answers that we merely remember what we had even asked !

Shaking her head in horror , she muttered these words for which he snapped instantly.

S- haina?

C- haina...!

She watched his poor face and started laughing while he acted to glare so that she stops.

S- sach mei yaar . Before marriage I used to think that you really are exaggerating about your sister's exclusive attitude . But now , I surrender ! Matlab, I can't understand her properly anytime.

Saying this casually , he held the cup to his mouth and sipped slowly when charu nodded a bit , agreeing.

C- I know , but think of this . It's never impossible to understand her , just a difficult task . Moreover , she isn't some big mystery model ! She's just spontaneous , whatever the situation is . If you realize that , you can easily figure it out !

S - so I've got a tutor now , thank you !

Pretending to be serious ,he replied and smiled soon while she rose her palm as if she was blessing him.

C- anytime .

And both cracked up within few seconds . That's when annika who was there inside the kitchen with her mother all this time, came with the food .

A- hey charu , deko meine kud banaya hai . I've learned cooking !

Placing it on the table she sat opposite to the other two and exclaimed. Charu raised her eyes at her before peeping inside the container .

C- wah annika ! You've cooked the most toughest dish , I must say . Noodles ,

Annika clearly grasped the taunting tone in her voice and twisted her lips .

Within few seconds, those squeezed eyes which were fixed on charu reversed to settle back in surprise when she watched the handsome man there who was finishing his coffee silently.

That black full sleeved T - shirt which hugged his toned body was going even more better on him than she had imagined while purchasing it . Well, his forearm which peeped out from his folded sleeves , grabbed her attention. She took her own time to have glances of every details , that dark colour complemented his milky skin so much that he looked no less than those Greed gods whom the world refers when speaking of handsome men .

' They've got to change the tradition and refer this man in such topics, haaye !! '

She mentally praised herself for not failing the size.

Only if she knew how he had struggled to put it on . It wasn't of his size , infact it was actually 2 times smaller than his size. How can he even mention this after getting to witness her expressive eyes back then when she gave it to him ? He isn't a stone hearted man , but to be honest this tight outfit was actually holding him stiff as a stone now.

Both settled inside the car . Annika noticed him to be struggling to pull the seatbelt which played equally , getting struck.

S- damn this !

A- your patience level is zero man , wait .

Asking him to stop she peeped over, close to him and worked on the belt. It was only when her palm which held the neck of his seat gradually fell off to grip his shoulder , he was alarmed to look upon her who was totally concentrating on her work now . She was actually gripping her palm on his shoulder in various positions to comfort herself .

Finally after succeeding ,she dragged the belt and made him hold it .

A- hmm ! Tie it around.

S- around both of us ?

At once she knew why he asked that , well , she was actually sticking close to him that her chest was already tracing on his now . Trying to say anything she opened and closed her mouth several times .

She removed her hand from his shoulder and traced for something else for balance to land back on her seat again in process of which she pressed the horn hard by mistake.

Keeeeeeen .

He grinned watching her widened eyes and supported her back on the seat , holding her hand .

Looking at her hand into his , she put up a mild smile on her face which didn't last long as he gripped out soon .

He was about to accelerate when a person in two wheelers who just entered past the gates ,signalled him to stop which he noticed through the side mirror and waited .

The man came to shivaay's side.

' Ms. Annika lives here right ? '

Annika was baffled hearing her name , she was about to answer when ,

S - I'm sorry I don't know .

Immediately he felt a tug on his wrist.

A- who am I then ?did you forget my name ?

S- you aren't Ms. Annika now . Maybe some other annika from the next block .

A- seriously?!! There's no other annika in this entire apartment other than me .

Mentioning this, she pushed him back with her arm so that she could see the person.

A- I'm annika .

' Ok then , there's some enquiry. We want you at the police station now '

( Those who thought it might be the railway station and that they were leaving for honeymoon, sorry guys not so soon ;) )

Hearing this both looked at each other in shock .

S- police station? Why ?

' I'm just a constable , I don't know the full details . They just gave the address and asked me to bring Ms. Annika along . '

Shivaay silently thought for sometime , when the cop spoke again .

' sir it might just be a small enquiry , don't worry '

He looked at annika once and again faced the man.

S- ok then , we'll come.

' not you sir , just Ms. Annika '

S- she's not Ms rather Mrs. I'm her husband , and I'm coming too .

He stated it clearly . The man agreed and left after asking them to follow his ride .

Shivaay turned beside and looked at her for a second before ,

S- I don't know what adventures you have instored for me today. Come , let's find out .

She remained silent , as she herself was clueless of what's going on .

Annika guessed the problem when she saw Elizabeth's parents there , at the station . Shivaay nudged her shoulders when he noticed her to be staring at someone.

S- who are they ?

A- Eli's parents .

He had a baffled reaction on his face to track what exactly is awaiting them . And before they could comprehend anything , Eli's mother walked straight upto annika at once when she saw her there . She seemed very angry.

A- aunty,

' no ! Don't tell anything . Inspector , here she is . My daughter's best friend who was the one behind all this , take my complaint and arrest her now ! '

She stopped annika from saying anything and spoke to the lady inspector.

' we can't arrest anyone as like that , I'm sorry . We have procedures to follow '
said the lady cop.

' what are you even saying Madam? Our daughter has already married someone without our knowledge and she had helped them . And you are saying that you won't take any action if we file a complaint too ?' This was Elizabeth's father who spoke now  .

A- aunty , please listen to me once aunty . You know me right ? Mein aise ,

' what are you going to say annika ? We trusted you with everything and is this how you payback ? Even now , I found out the papers myslef, orelse I don't know when she would have told me . Inter religion marriage? How will we face our relatives and the society now ?! And all this happened just because of you , my daughter isn't so brave to take such a decision '

She vented out in anger , when shivaay who was silent all the while held annika's hand and pulled her little away from the lady, before speaking.

S- if you don't mind , shall I talk ? Not much and haan , you would have found another proof signature on the paper . It's mine , I'm shivaay .

Annika watched in worry,  as she didn't want him to fall in this . It's she who dragged him into this back then , so she has to face anything regarding it .

She was about to insist him when he tightened his grip, indicating to wait .

On the other side ,  both the parents had a defeated face . They were so raged on annika that they straightway came to the station to file a complaint at once after finding out the truth .

' See inspector, they themselves are agreeing that they did it . Arrest them ! ' emphasized the man .

S - ok bas ! ...kya chahiye aapko haan ? We didn't commit any sin to put us behind the bars . Your daughter is happily married , you get the word ? Happily !

' hamare pariwaar , '

S- aunty please , I don't even know you and I have no rights to speak to you like this . But please , think of you daughter before concluding anything . Your daughter must be your priority , not some others from this society or your relatives .

He emphasized his words and tried insisting when Elizabeth's father interrupted.

' tum kuch nahi jaanthi ho , how can we accept a boy from another religion in our family . Kabhi nahi ! '

S - uncle , shall I tell something ? The boy of whom you're speaking is working as the garde one engineer in my company . You know how talented he is ? and not only that . Even he has taken such a big step against his parents just for Elizabeth . I'm sure you'd know what will be the mindset of his parents if they come to know the truth . But in spite of all this, he made this decision , for your daughter. Being from the same religion can't provide any conduct certificates for a person , it's his character which matters . In that case, your daughter is in safe hands . And if you really care for this society , just think for a second. Who are they ? Just some coward people who bite behind our back . Today they'll say something and tomorrow? They would find the next topic to gossip on ! And here , you want to worry about them ? Please uncle , don't spoil your daughter's life for the sake of others . If they were blindly irresponsible I wouldn't support them , but they both are very clear in what they're doing . Bahut mature hai dono , so don't spoil they're future for silly reasons .

Annika was watching this with her mouth wide opened . Well, he was very serious and particular in whatever he insisted . Long lectures ...!

'After living with her for these many days , wouldn't he have learned something from her?! '

She smirked.

S- and if you still want to complain against us , please go ahead. We're ready to face it , we didn't approve any child marriage. They are two major adults .

He added . Both the parents remained silent for a few moments after listening to everything.

' inspector, we don't want to file any complaint . Whatever it is , we'll talk within our family and decide . '

Elizabeth's mother said this to the cop and left with her husband .

Annika looked at shivaay and raised her eyebrows like she was praising him and he looked confused.

S- why did they leave without saying anything? Matlab, what's the conclusion ?

A- arey , it's actually a good response . What did you think? You just opened their eyes with your long speech and that they'll agree immediately? As far as I know , both are very sensitive and more orthodox . That's why Eli decided to do register marriage so that even if any problem arises , she could cope up through it . Let's see what they decide .

S- whatever ,but for now I think the problem is solved and haan you owe me a thank you for this .

Emphasizing the word thank you , he stated and she was about to reply when the lady inspector spoke .

' I'm sorry , you weren't directly involved in this and I should have spoke to  their daughter first . But they were forcing me to arrest you , that's why I called you for the enquiry . '

A- that's

S- that's ok . You just did your duty.

Before annika could speak, shivaay responded and the cop smiled at him .

' well then , I'm Swathi ! '

S- I'm shivaay .

Annika didn't like when shivaay shaked hands with her . Agree that it was just a formal gesture but as a girl herself she definitely knew where all a girl would present such a kind of smile . Swathi certainly liked shivaay , she grasped it .

' you're Elizabeth's...? I mean you sounded so serious and worried about her future  . You're her ?'

S- no ,actually she's my wife's friend.

Passing a look on annika , he answered her question hearing which the inspector's eyes widened.

' you're married? , you look very young for a married person '

That's it , annika has to put a barricade for this .

A- don't worry madam, his wife isn't of age 40 . She's young too , infact younger than him . Aren't we getting late shivaay ? Come .

Stressing some good level of attitude in her words , she insisted shivaay to come which he did after passing a formal nod to the cop.

A- you look very young !

Mimicking swathi's  voice , she muttered to herself .

S- kuch kaha ?

A- nothing , I said thank you.

She pretended and he looked at her being surprised.

S- finally! atleast now you remembered.

He exclaimed and walked past her to his side but halted when she immediately caught hold of his shirt from back .

S- kya huwa ?

A- sach mei yaar , thank you . I always had this fear in me of how I was going to face her parents who  trusts me much . But you ,

S- didn't I promise you that day itself ? ki we are together in this and we'll  manage it together?

He interrupted her words and spoke, to which she just blinked .

A- yeah , I don't know how I would have handled it without you .

She shrugged lighty and shook her head , while he released her hold on his shirt and gripped the same hand with his.

Looking into her eyes , he admitted .

S - hey annika , you don't have to know that because I'm already here ...with you .

Only if he knew what these mere words even did to her . That short span which he took before uttering the phrase 'with you ' pointed to a beautiful moment . As if he was stressing it , she loved the way he said that !

Shivaay straightway went towards Rudra's room when they reached OM , and annika followed him .

A- I'm allowed to meet him now atleast , I suppose.

She acted like speaking to herself but his sharp ears were totally on now . He remained silent taking the taunt .

Rudy who was seated on the bed , with the joystick in his hands paused the game and greeted annika with a grin.

R - hi bhabi!

A- dump your hi and answer me first , kis heroine ki poster dekkar bike chalaye tumne haan ?

Settling beside him she took a thorough view on his dressed leg and plastered arm . Shivaay just cracked up and controlled his laugh listening to her . Her comic sense is something else , he thought . Rudra who had a grumpy look on his face, spoke.

R- bhabi ! Aisa kuch nahi hai, that car driver came by the wrong way and hit  me .

He complained and she smiled agreeing .

A- acha baba don't start crying , tell me how are you feeling now ?

R- I'm totally good bhabi , see , I've started my games and taken the high score already!

Showing the joystick , he exclaimed when shivaay quizzed immediately.

S- Rudy , did you have the medicines?

Rudra bit his tongue and hissed for which shivaay glared before fetching the tablets from the draw .

A- I can guess what disaster your bike would have faced .

R- ohh bhabi! Baiya dismantled it already ... that's ok , but I heard that he scolded you because of me . I'm sorry bhabi.

A- hey ,it's ok Rudra . Not your fault , tumhara baiya thoda ...

She stopped at the middle and spinned her finger near her side head like a kid . Shivaay who noticed this through the mirror smiled , just smiled .

It was almost 4 PM when Annika and Adi reached the jewellery shop while annika kept reciting everything on their way .

Ad- so he helped you at the station ? Really ?

A- what's so surprising in this? He did!

As they walked to the bracelet section , they conversed .

Ad- I should admit this, tumhara prince mei baath tho hai ! I mean , yesterday he was a villain in my sight but now .... not completely but maybe a junior hero . He had certainly come searching for you in the rain last night  and even helped you in the case ,why am I not able to judge him correctly ?

A- haina ? He's special !! Acha , how's this ?

Picking a simple bracelet from the tray , she showed it to him and he shook his head immediately.

Ad- no , it's very simple . Vaise annika , you helped Elizabeth so much that her track is being cleared gradually. Place your auspicious sight on this poor Adi too na ?!

He muttered dragging the words while checking  the designs and annika raised her brows hearing this .

A- poor Adi ! Be patient for sometime , everything will happen by itself. But don't start of your monkey acts in the office to impress her . Ye ?

Ad- nahi , it's got too much stone works. She won't like such grand stuffs .

Annika kept the bracelet back on the tray and fumed .

A- nothing simple nothing grand. Jao! Select one by yourself .

Ad- hey hey annika , Please ... !

He nudged her continuously and she sighed before checking again .

A- ye .

Ad- this is perfect right ? She'll definitely like this !

It was a thin band , with small studded butterflies running around it .

She grinned with a nod as she herself was going to show that particular one.

A- haan , it's very nice . Let me try it once ,

Saying this she was about to take it from him when he instantly pulled back his hand .

Ad- kyun ?

A- arey, to check the size. We are paying such a lot of money and if it doesn't fit ,then what we do ?

Ad - I agree , but it's exclusively for charu right ?

Annika squeezed her eyes and cringed listening to the reason.

A- Oi Mr. Monkey Majnu , you see that aunty there who was here before few minutes ? I'm sure she would have tried all these bracelets here around her big wrist . So what do we do now ?

Pointing a lady who was now roaming there in the earing section , she questioned smacking his head who made a defeated face .

Ad- acha fine , ye lo .

He gave it to her but she didn't try it on her hand rather plainly checked the size by keeping it close to her wrist and approved . Noticing this Adi grinned .

A- don't worry , your sentiments are safeguarded. It's perfect .

She came back at 6.30 PM and went straight to her room . Placing the shopping bag in one corner , she threw herself on the couch .

He , who was working on the laptop , looked at her once and gazed on the screen again .

S- so ? What did you buy for your sister's birthday ?

A- first I was confused , then I remembered a fact . Charu always had an evil eye on my maroon crop top , so I bought one like that for her . I'm sure she would like it !

Shivaay chuckled hearing the change in her voice modulation when she  said that . He wasn't watching her face but he knew what exactly was her reaction now. She can never speak without presenting a sense of comical flavour in her sentence.

S- how can you even be like this annika ?

With his gaze fixed on the screen ,he asked in a surprised tone .

A- kya ? Hey oreo, there isn't any snacks inside , stop dragging the cover . I'll give you something else baby .

She quizzed shivaay and carried oreo from the floor who was busy searching for any special snacks inside the shopping bag .

S- I mean , tum sabse alag ho ! In everything.

Typing the mail , he spoke emphasizing the words while she shrugged .

A- pata nahi.

S- but you know something? That's what which impresses me the most , you're character . You can never hurt anyone ever ! you know how big is this ?!

This time he was certainly looking at her face straight while expressing it and she was in process of controlling her heart which was on jumping mode after listening to the word ' impress ' .
